Venice Papas is hands down probably the best takeaway in Chorley!! Been living here 2 years now and always struggled to find somewhere that had good food and delivered on time and now have finally found it. Love the Cheesy Chip wrap and cannot complain about delivery only being 30 mins!! Even throw in a free garlic bread, Top tier takeaway 🥳🎉

Took a while but finally found a decent takeaway in Chorley that delivers in 30 minutes. Food quality is top notch and always throw in a garlic bread for free. The bloke who delivers is always pleasant and can have a quick chat before he's darting off. Side note my partner loves the cheesey chips wrap!

I have had their pizza many times now. Wow. Never has been a disappointment. Tonight the delivery turned up early. I told them to leaves it by the door. I phoned them to acknowledge that I have got it and to say thank you. It was still a greet tasting pizza.

Very nice burger but price on the higher side

We would visit once every two months for food here. Seems like they have changed hands. Prices have been tapped over the menu screens and the atmosphere is very different. Food has gone downhill too. Order a mix grill and the meat tastes very pasty and the salad is poor. Chips don't taste the same and feel stale. Maybe cheaper quality of food. Will not have to worry about my wife mithering me anymore to drive to this place from Manchester. Every silver lining and all...

Very nice food must order again

Gone down hill recently, food arrives just warm and multiple orders over the last few weeks have come wrong. Pizzas overcooked and sometimes not even bothered to cut into slices. Tomato puree on pizzas has changed and tastes cheaper. Generally the quality of the food has really declined. Decided to give it one last try to see if the previous issues/changes were anomilies but really disappointed with the quality of the food again. Weve decided not to bother ordering from here anymore.

Just got a delivery and was really disappointed with the chicken kebabs. My son left is has he said his chicken was cold and my daughter only ate about half of it. Me and my husband had ours but only because we were hungry. The chicken was only just warm and far too much garlic mayo on. We came here a few months ago and really enjoyed it but definitely won’t be ordering again. Feel like I’ve chucked £24 down the drain!!

Best garlic bread and cheese in Chorley

I used to love Venice Papas, we ordered every week on takeaway night, but it went a bit hit n miss for a while, it wasn't always nice like it had been. Tonight however, we decided to give it another go and it was absolutely incredible, every piece of chicken tikka was cooked perfectly, and we could tell it was decent quality meat. We will definitely be ordering again.

I got a takeaway last night an d today I can’t get off the bog so it’s obviously to do with that monstrosity of a takeaway

Avoid at all costs. Long story short our food took almost 2 hours to be delivered. We called repeatedly and were told it had been sat there waiting for a driver. After 50 mins we called to cancel due to lemgth of time the food had been sat there and they said we could cancel but had already paid i.e. we would not get a refund. This is not only terrible service but also poor food hygiene practice. They delivered the food which was completely cold (incl chicken). I will report as necessary on food hygiene grounds.

Not been for a couple of years as I moved out of the area, but was a little disappointed from a recent visit, the Pizzas weren't as moist as they used to be. Still good flavour, just too dry...

Been a customer for years, myself and my partner order frequently and have never had any issues or complaints until this evening. One of our favourite things to order is the Venice Kebab, extra nan bread and a portion of chips to share, the Kebab comes with the option of salad and sauce both included in the price. Now, we have ordered this via various apps countless times over the years and have always asked in the comments box for the sauce to be put in a pot as we share the meal and like to add the sauce separately. This has never once before been an issue and we have always received the sauce of choice in a pot with no qualms until tonight! The order arrived and the driver proceeded to tell me that they've put he sauce in a pot tonight but in future I'd have to pay extra for it. I was a little confused and so asked again what he meant, he repeated the same. I explained that the kebab comes with sauce as an option, which I selected but just requested it to be sent separately, surely that shouldn't cost extra?? I was left a little dumbfounded so just took the order. The meal as usual was great and thoroughly enjoyed but I didn't appreciate being lectured on my doorstep for asking for one alteration on the order, especially it being an order I've made so many times before with the exact request. If there have been changes to the menu or policies, then make it apparent on the app and not lecture people on their doorstep.

My partner went to the door to be propositioned by the takeaway driver and constantly ringing and texting her! Making her feel really uncomfortable in her own home and worried in case he came back in the night. People beware! Lucky we didn't ring the police! Disgusting behaviour.

Disgraceful customer service! I have ordered from here frequently. The one thing that has always fascinated me is how rushed I am on the phone. I'm not a slow person by any means lol, but it feels like a phone call is an inconvenience. Anyway, ordered at lightning speed!!! Was told it will be 45 minutes. One hour passed so decided to brave the phone again as my husband had leave for work soon. Another frantic conversation and I cancelled after I was told it would be another fifteen minutes. I must have been too slow for him again as he put the phone down on me. I was polite and we just didn't have time to wait any longer. So, I braved the phone again as I had no idea if the order was cancelled. Thankfully it was. Of course he told me super fast. If the orders could come out as quick as the phone call there would never be a problem.

Long time customer, never had any problems until tonight!!!! Some random guy pretending to be manager has sent me a tray of salad and a tiny bit of donnar meat instead of our NORMAL ORDER of large donnar with salad. Really dissapointed

Ordered food due to being extremely busy. Been ordering from here for years owner lovley staff lovely food amazing but the driver has just put all of our food on the floor outside in a pile of cat sick I am fuming how disrespectful i dread to think the amount of money we have spent here over the years. We are not animals and will not eat of a floor full of cat sick and pay for the pleasure. Would have added picture if it was possible

My son just made first order from you-first and the last one . Food lukewarm ... he ordered chicken nuggets, spicy wings and Coca Cola . Received everything except the drink . No apology, no explanation. He’s a 19 years old student and needs to work hard for his own money. No matter how much the item is-if he orders something I expect him to get everything. Anyway-never again.

With COVID-19, we wanted to support local independent businesses. We decided to treat ourselves to this takeaway. We found their menu online which was great as we was able to choose what we wanted before ordering. They offer online and telephone orders. We rang up to put in a 15.00 GBP telephone order for collection, and they said the meal was ready within 5-10 mins! Amazing service. The food was amazing. We haven't had a kebab in a few years, so we were glad that the food was super. The salad was fresh, the garlic sauce was delicious, and the meat was juicy. We ordered a couple of pizzas, and a burger, and downed it all with a litre of Pepsi. The customer service was brilliant. We highly recommend this business. We wish them good health during this pandemic.

Best kebab shop in Chorley by far. Big pieces of marinated meats and usually hot and fresh for kebab shop standards. Always early as well which is great if your hungry. Only draw back would be the chilli sauce. Maybe add an extra spicy one to the menu. But great job they do here.

So, i've had a few meals from here and to say the least their food is terrible. Ordered Cheesy Chips and a BBQ Calzone. Cheesy Chips were tasteless, you could not tell the difference between the paper that's supposed to be below it and the cheese itself, in fact i might of eaten some paper thinking it was cheese and while i was eating it i was pretty worried that i was, you should not be scared of what you have to eat.. While on the other hand the BBQ Calzone didn't even arrive. It was replaced by a hastily made crappy version of a normal Donner Calzone which included mushrooms, this was a downside since i ordered the BBQ Calzone without onions, this shows that they don't even slightly have a care in the world on what they give you as long as they "get the money" since if they were going to give me a poorly done Calzone that was not requested they could of at least taken the fact that i didn't want the shrooms. Even the delivery guy wasn't great. The order costed £18.80 and i gave a £20.00 note and he just said (In a pretty deep annoyed voice) "Oh, sorry my pockets have got holes in them don't mind if i keep the change right?" in which i was quite shocked he said that as it is not his decision that he get to keep the change or not. While for the other orders i've had it seemed to be the same. I got the wrong meal, the delivery guy was rude or the food was terrible. I urge you to not order from here because i guarantee you will feel like you've been scammed for your money.

Had the burger tonight which was ok but not my fave. That said I've never had a bad meal here. Good portions and lovely staff. Partners kebab delivered with chilli sauce in error. No quibble just straight back with replacement and free can of pop.great place

We have never had a poor one yet. The kebabs are very good without being greasy. Reasonably priced and good portions. Free delivery within 3 miles if you spend £8-00 or more. The BBQ Calzone is really tasty. Delivery usually within 45 minutes of ordering, but I suppose that depends on how busy they are.

It arrived late, cold and burnt. The top was black. How am I supposed to eat that?! Do not buy from here they don't care about their food. I couldn't even eat my pizza it was Inedible. If you like food this is not the place you should buy from. Absolutely fuming.

We have ordered takeaway from here twice recently, and each time the food has been very fresh and tasty, with good sized portions, and the delivery has been very quick.

Well prepared food and quick service. I can recommend the Donna kebab and chicken kebab. Portions are huge and the chilli sauce will blow your head off.

Cuando quieres algo bueno no creo que lo que? Pedí pizza y pan de ajo, que era suficiente para nosotros dos. La pizza era la calidad del restaurante, que era realmente bueno. La entrega fue como me habían dicho, a 20 minutos y aquí. Sin duda, lo recomendaría, me siento una orden que vienen en mmmmm.

Me gusta Venecia, vengo aquí mucho, pero ahora la gente sin mencionar que, sí, las porciones son pequeñas por el precio (Nooo, rompiendo momento de cristal) pero la razón real para mi dos estrellas crítica es personal y basura gruñón pedidos de teléfono. He ordenado a ellos más de 5 veces en el teléfono y siempre algo está mal o/y falta! Está bien para ir a visitar, pero ... hombre. Realmente?

Usaban Venecia durante años y siempre pensé sus kebabs encontrados excelente. dos últimas veces que he estado muy decepcionados. No pude terminar siempre mi pedido anteriormente pero no tuvimos ningún problema hacerlo ahora. Parece que nos sentimos mucho más ligero y creo que han comenzado a poner en sólo media tanto como solían hacerlo. No utilizamos ya que lo que es una pena. Ahora, ve a la casa Pizza como sus kebabs están repletos.

Pedimos algo de comida desde aquí y me lo trajeron muy rápidamente, y la comida estaba muy rica. También te dan un gratuito 9" pan de ajo con queso en pedidos de 14 libras.

Como otros sitios estaban cerrados temprano debido a que era víspera de Navidad fuimos a Venecia a las 10 pm. Patatas fritas hicieron recién, el kebab era abundante con ensalada.
