The Nile Takeaway in Chorley

The worst takeaway we’ve had! Everything was soggy and undercooked! After waiting more than an hour Items were missing, tried to get a partial refund for missing items and got nowhere.

It’s not bout the delivery time or quality, it’s about getting the right order! We ordered Donner kebab, not chicken so it’s gone in the bin at our expense

Driver had no change in him and took his time to go back to the restroom after me paying to get me my change

soggy onion Rings, ordered the mixed Kebab was more like 2 full Dried Chickens + burnt bits and small amount of donner and beef

The chicken burger was burnt and the garlic mayo tasted awful I chucked it away after two bites it was awful and the samosas was too spicy I refused to eat them

On time and the food was piping hot. The Nile never disappoints-always consistent.

Always my go to kebab house. At first the delivery driver brought us the wrong order, but we called the restaurant and they were very understanding and accommodating, and our correct order was with us within 10 minutes. I always request extra red salt on my fries, and they come through and fulfil my request every time, thanks guys 😁

First time we have eaten from the Nile and I want to say excellent food nice and hot and lovely delivery driver deffo use again and would recommend without a problem thankyou to the nile

Food is consistently good and arrives piping hot every single time. Been ordering off them since the late 90s and never had a problem with food or wrong orders or delivery times. The best in the UK!

Had to keep ringing as the driver was incompotant and didn't know what he was doing and they even got my order wrong

Ordered for the family, up all night with stomach cramps, I had the mixed chicken and donner, my son had the same and was also up all night in pain, thank god my grandson only had chips!

I just love this place the food is amazing it's cooked to perfection and is always hot and fresh I will always come back here

every bit of my order was wrong. I ordered a 9 inch garlic bread with cheese, a burger and chips. I got a 9 inch pizza with tomato, onion and mushroom with hot wings and cheesey chips. It tasted awful.

food is always beautifully cooked/hot and delicious we have been ordering from here for years to many to remember and only a couple of times have I not been impressed 😅 staff are always lovely and attentive and drivers always friendly and helpful.we are very fussy when it comes to takeaway and this is the only place we have it from. I personally don't eat much due to health reasons and mostly have a liquid diet but when I do Nile is the place for me food I know I Will enjoy for sure no gagging

delivered to wrong address , my neighbour had to deliver to me . my door number was wrote on the bag . food cold and soggy

driver forget my drink said he was coming back never came back had to get a refund on my drink

Amazing as always! Always try and order at least once a week from here as there is just no other take away I've found that's as good. Chicken Tikka Meat & Chips is the best!

I waited for it to arrive has taken the payment and we haven't received any of the food and driver hasn't dropped off the food but has said on justeat that it's been delivered I'm a regular customer this hasn't happened before I'm discussed.

Just off holiday couldn't wait for my large donner with chilli ...unfortunately I got donner with garlic mayo kinda ruined the moment

Ordered the chicken and charcoal mix. Way too much salt on both of the meals. Ultra salty. Disappointed.

Order some plain mayonnaise in tubs for my fries and onion rings all four tub lids had come off all over the bag they came in they went in the bin the fries were awful looked and tasted like they were from day before and they were barely warm they went in the bin the only thing that was warm were the onion rings normally good from here but they let them selfs down by sending un eatable food

I ordered a Donnor kebab (LARGE) which is correct but I also got another one with was chicken and donnor kabab which instead I got chicken and chips

arrived early and hot . Great place food was perfect

Food is okay but taking almost 2 hours to deliver a kebab that takes 5 minutes to make is not horrible. When I order food at 7.30 I don't expect it to arrive at 9:20. For that reason I will be very unlikely to order again, it's not what you want when ordering 'fast' food.

We’ve ordered from The Nile for years and the food is always of excellent quality and the restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. Had issues with Uber driver delays but not associated with the restaurant, so could have been the case for any delivery.

We were missing a drink we paid for.

The food was inedible and I threw it in the bin. The chips were limp and too salt, the chicken coating had rock hard bits, the meat was disgusting and both were so salty I don't know how anyone could eat it. the coleslaw was stale and watery and the apple pie were vile. I've ordered from here before and the food was ok but this was disgusting and a total waste of money. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.

Very disappointing. Nasty; disgusting food. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog.. Only place open after 2am on a weekend. Next time will get a sandwich from the Shell garage.

left a note say ring my phone before knocking at the door but instead they just knock at the door not good all so pizza was not vert hot warm but Edible ...

Ordered Nile special kebab with salad no sauce, paid extra for tub of sauce and chip's Kebab came with no salad and sauce all over..rang them they said bring another...15 minutes later they did with exactly same wrong Kebab..rang to ask for refund as over an hour had passed since first placing order. I was told I couldn't have a refund and they'll send another which I tried decline, he said send another or not but no refund.. bad service overall

Food was OK but a bit cold as it had been made ages before we eventually got served. My 10yr old daughter went in to pick up our order. I waited in the car for 20 mins, my daughter came running over and said, she still hadnt been served. I walked into the shop and was instantly served. I then explained my daughter had been waiting 20 mins and had been ignored. His response, well she never said anything. Honestly though you'd think they'd of acknowledged a child stood on their own. I've lived in Chorley approx 23yrs now. I'm in my late 40's now so late night takeaways aren't as a common thing as they once were, but i've tried many a pizza from many a takeaway and the Nile has never failed me. Ordered a garlic bread with cheese and the Nile Special pizza last weekend and they were both very tasty indeed 🍕😋👌. If you enjoy pizza then try the Nile. You are spoilt for choice and they are delicious.

Burgers are superb... would have gotten a 5 if chips were slightly better... Also- you need to detail that the burgers include chips as i needlessly ordered extra chips! or it may be down to my own lack of observation- i cant remember... Anyway- bravo...

The food was ok from here, arrived hot. However, on the app it says that the "Nile special kebab" is vegetarian. So we ordered this. Only to be rung to say it's not vegetarian as I requested in the notes to ensure all was vegetarian. The man we spoke to on the phone was very abrupt and made this seem to be our fault. The app needs updating with correct dietary information.

Absolutely terrible food. Ordered 3 large kebabs costing over £30 . Meat covered in powder. All 3 in bin not happy . First time ordering will not be returning we all sat hungry
