Exceptionally tasty food, would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back to try other menu choices. Excellent variety of meals, snacks and drinks. Fantastic friendly staff, made to feel very welcome. Thank you very much 😊

My girlfriend and I ate at Vegan House Cafe for the first time today! The proprietors were incredibly friendly and the food was excellent. We had the All Day Breakfast Wrap and BBQ (not)chicken wrap which we both recommend whole heartedly! We will definitely be coming back :)

Took a detour on my way home from the Peak Distict to Essex and it was well worth it! Would have loved to have eaten in here - but thanks to covid, it was takeaway only. It was hard to chose from the massive menu and everything looked so delicious but I ended up going for fish and chips with extra cheese, mushy peas and tartar sauce. It was absolutely amazing 👏 😍 oh and I also had a coconut hot chocolate🤤 unfortunately I don't think ill be back as I am never up this way but I will certainly recommend it to anyone passing. The owners were such a lovely couple too and I hope they do well, as their food is stunning.

As someone who is vegan and gluten-free, it can be incredibly hard to find delicious food at good prices. The takeaway options here are amazing, such a range of choices and all freshly cooked. Lovely staff, quick service, would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic cafe, food is delicious my husband isn't a vegan and enjoys the food on offer. Really glad we have a vegan cafe so close. Prices aren't bad too. It's clean and staff are very friendly. Child friendly too.

I have been wanting to visit here for a while and was not disappointed. The largest vegan menu I've seen full of lovely, good vsluethings for vegans and vegetarians or anyone wanting to try something plant based. The owners are really lovely friendly people and I would really recommend a visit.

We don't come to town very often as don't live here but had time to kill following visit to nearby Kimbolton school. Delighted to find a vegan cafe and was impressed. Excellent good value curry, wife had a decent burger. Incredible vegan cakes and genuinely warm service. The drinks are if you pushed me a touch pricey but one was free anyway thanks to a Vegnuary so all good. Will def return

What find find - hidden away in a small courtyard. This fantastic family run cafe has an an extensive vegan menu. The owner is friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Worth far more than five stars!! I just wish we lived nearer!

An Amazing choice of vegan food and drink. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere and they’re dog friendly. Prices reasonable and a very pleasant place to stop and grab a bite to eat whether your diet is plant based or you just fancy a change. Give this place a go! 5 stars ⭐️ all day long.

Visited as a group of two vegetarians and a vegan. We all absolutely loved it. We had a taste of each others food and it was all amazing. The carrot cake was a triumph and the wraps, burgers and loaded fries were all so delicious and tasty. Lovely little venue and the most wonderfully friendly staff. Strongly recommend a visit even if you're not a vegetarian/vegan. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Lovely family run cafe, great food and such friendly people! I had the Bangkok burger which was lovely and the cheesy chips are so good! Fantastic vegan comfort food! They also have a great selection of cakes and from the ones I have tried (Victoria sponge, Belgian chocolate and coffee and walnut) have all been delicious!

What an enjoyable lunch we had today, the menu extensive-vegan cake on the counter and extremely friendly people. The food was freshly cooked and really tasty, I am quite a novice vegan but a long time veggie and I was given some very useful tips and tasters by the owner! A great find in Northants and we will definitely be returning.

A little tucked away in Rushden high street but definitely well worth looking for. A good selection of different foods, always tasty and the milkshakes are to die for! Dog friendly which is a plus point for us. Can sometimes take a while for the food to arrive, but this is not a chain restaurant with a full complement as staff, so should be expected.

Really lovely vegan food, and such a nice addition just off the Rushden high street! I had the chickun burger, and my husband had a pizza, all really delicious and served quickly! Super friendly owner too, love their animal friendly policies! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is a touch expensive, worth it as a treat but I couldn't afford to visit every week. Also would love clearer allergen warnings as my husband (we have only recently found out might I add) is soya intolerant! Otherwise this place is great!

We visited for Mother’s Day, and we were a large group, Shelia and the team ensured we were accommodated.

Great food and very friendly staff. Makes a welcome change from the usual restaurants you get in Rushden and the surrounding areas. If only all towns had a Vegan House Cafe!

This is a gem of a cafe in the Rushden area! I’ve never seen vegan choices like they have here, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. It’s also dog friendly, which is a plus for any animal lover!

You have to travel far from Aylesbury to get a decent vegan full-English....the drive was more than worth it. Lovely breakfast (well, ok, it was lunch time!) fab coffee and exquisite cakes. Add lovely staff....what's not to go back for.

We LOVED coming here! The owners are so lovely, and always have a little chat when I come in.

Having visited with a friend twice we've found the staff lovely and friendly and the cake and coffee delicious on both occasions.

The proprietors took over the Cafe Noir premises. Rushden is now being decimated as a town centre thanks to the all-invasive chain store Rushden Lakes. The community desperately needs new blood. The food was fine, the fiendliness of the staff was superb ... however, it is vastly over-priced. In the time, I was there, a small group arrived at lunchtime and were obviusly not averse to veganism, but having examined the menu left quickly. All I can presume was the prices had put them off. I had a bacun roll and a black coffee for £7.50. Sorry to say that this makes harrods look cheap! Clearly, wholhearted vegans will come and some will wince at the prices. Empathy to vegan food will not compensate for such prices. Remember, this is RUSHDEN and not Ascot or Cambridge. I hope they are successful, but I fear that unless they re-examine their pricing structure, this enterprise will wither away.

We popped in for lunch and were very impressed. Super vegan comfort food with some nice twists. They took our nut allergy seriously and really checked it out with us to make sure they prepared the food right. The only downside was they sold out of cakes before we got to them! The cafe was full when we left and had a nice buzz to it. Genuine vegan cafe who are also supporting local and Indian animal charities. We will be regulars for sure.

I had planned a trip here for lunch with my family and I am so glad we did. The atmosphere is great. The staff are very friendly and attentive, we even had the pleasure of meeting the owner who made a special effort to come and talk to us. We had lunch here and can't believe how much choice there is! Between us we had the mixed veg curry, the chickpea curry and Bangkok burger- none of us were disappointed. The portions sizes are good and you can tell all of the food is homemade. There really is something here for everyone whether you are vegan or not. We had room for cakes as well after and I'm so glad we squeezed them in! I really hope this place is here for the long term. I'm looking forward to going back to try a pizza.

On a visit from Leeds, I came in here for lunch with my father. We received a very warm welcome and attentive service, as well as great food!

I went to this cafe with my friends and the service was so good! The Bangkok burger was really tasty and the Indian thali has a big portion enough to share which is great. I would recommend to anyone who wants try variety of delicious food and is transitioning to vegan food. 5/5! Also wonderful decor

My wife and I went for lunch. We both had a wrap (SOS for her, chickpea curry for me). They were super yummy. The staff were friendly and we had a great time.

We visited the cafe last week and we loved the food. The service was fantastic, the food was at our table within 15 min of ordering, and the owner Sheila and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pizza was delicious, we also had a thali and it was finger licking yummy.

I visited vegan house in Rushden with my daughter,she had a classic cheese pizza, she loved it,the Bangkok bad boy burger is superb, and the eggless yolk really blew me away. Fantastic food, lovely café and the owners are such lovely people, really make you feel welcome. Such a great relaxing place, well worth a visit. Definitely going back for more delicious vegan food.

We went here today, it was terrible. :-( We waited 40 minutes for the first meal to arrive, the second came 5 mins later and the next around 5 minutes later. I chose the thali as it looked wonderful on the cafe's Facebook page. It took over an hour to arrive and was luke warm and greasy. We paid £7.50 for three glasses of juice, we saw them pour it from the carton which costs 55p in Tesco!
