Excellent food, great service and friendly staff. We went to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. Fantastic. Definitely recommend 👍

Turned up without a booking on a Saturday evening and the staff were very accomodating and got us a table. House wine was lovely. Food was great. Tagliatelle cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit again. Prices very reasonable too.

Very average food . Had tuna salad but very little tuna. Rather basis. Garlic breads very tasty but shop bought bases. Atmosphere was pleasant but rushed us to get out as they wanted close at 9.30pm. Was just a basic experience.

First time ordering take out from here, delivered early, which was perfect as we wanted it ASAP, we have eaten in the restaurant once before and this was just as amazing as eating in. By far the best takeaway I have had in a very long time. This will be my new go to takeaway, it was absolutely amazing thank you.

My son brought me to this gem of a place on Mother's day, having previously been several times himself. He's raved about it! I can see why. Very traditional Italian food, which is exactly what I love. I'd choose here over the 'fancy pretentious' style Italian every time. The food and the service was fantastic. I hope this place stays busy every single day.

Lovely food and enjoyed all starter main and desert. All staff were very nice though out meal and it had nice decorations for valentines and even fresh flowers on the table which i thought was a sweet touch.

We've been here a few time over the years for family occasions and had no problems and always felt relaxed. Unfortunately Tonight hasn't been a great experience as the service wasn't the best and we felt rushed. The food was amazing. unfortunately we had a problem with food arriving at different times. In my opinion food was pre ordered so this shouldn't be a problem as we ordered weeks in advance as requested. At the end of our night we wanted to pay separately for our own groups but this was refused by the boss as he wanted the bill paid in one which my mum felt she had to pay for everyone. I found this unfair as the bill was over £300. After my mum had paid it seemed that they couldn't wait to close the restaurant which made everyone feel uncomfortable. Due to my experience tonight I don't think we'll be returning.

A lovely and authentic taste of Italy. Brilliant atmosphere, great value and service. My family have been coming here for years for many celebrations. Highly recommended. Also the new alcohol free range of beers wines and spirit's is a fantastic addition.

This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. Some are close by and are overpriced and even charge a seating fee. Another you can wait 3 hours for a starter. Every meal we have eaten at Vecchia, either in the restaurant or as a takeaway, is of a very high standard. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I would always recommend it to anybody.

Been going here for 35 years since they first opened, with my family as a youngster and as a parent, never had a bad meal in all these years, always felt welcome as soon as you walk through the door to leaving and thanking staff. Birthdays are the best memories here, the kids love it.

We love Vecchia Italia and have done for years. They redecorated a couple years ago and it looks absolutely amazing! Not to mention how yummy their food is! The service is always excellent but the 10/10 food is what wins it over for us. I've been coming here since I was a child and I'm now taking my child there, which makes my heart melt that we can experience the same childhood memories in such a beautiful, delicious, welcoming restaurant.

Went with my family and had a great birthday meal. Excellent pasta dishes and pizzas all round. The chocolate fudge cake was amazing. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much for them, especially as we had a baby with us. Great restaurant, we will return.

This is a lovely restaurant. The menu hasn’t changed for years and doesn’t have to as the food is outstanding. Cannot fault it. Pizza pasta or meat dishes are all fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend.

I absolutely love them! Started going when I was 7 with the family and I'm now 40 and I absolutely love it there. Family friendly and the most wonderful Italian food I've ever eaten. They are so welcoming and make you feel relaxed and important no matter if your 7yrs old or 70. I now live in south wales and i still come back here! Amazing place

I have been coming here for over 20 years now and have never had a bad meal! The staff are attentive, food is always fresh, hot and delicious and nothing is too much trouble for staff. I would definitely recommend to anyone, what a gem to have on our doorstep in the High Peak

Always a lovely experience and gorgeous food. I have been visiting for the last 20 years and the quality of food and service has never changed. It is great value for money and the staff enhance the experience. We order takeaways frequently and they are always hot and just as delicious. Vecchia Italia is an important asset to Chapel-en-le-Frith and we are lucky to have you on our High Street.

My local restaurant among a growing list of options but it’s always a favourite. The reason it is is simple, there is always a genuine warm welcome, the food is always constantly really great and the atmosphere is warm and lively as a family restaurant should be. I’ve been using this venue for nearly 20 years since I first moved to Chapel and I think that says it all. Don’t get me wrong, I use others too but for our regular family get together this is still my favourite.

Great Food, the ribs were to die for, we both had the ribs for starter, followed by Spaghetti Carbonaro and Spaghetti Calabrese. The Sicilian chef has not forgotten his routes the food was fabulous. The staff were very attentive and we go back for sure.

Fab as always but the order was missing the salad

Having moved into the area some 2 years ago I have tried most of the restaurants and found them to range from good to very good. However! My first (and only) visit. The food was simply awful. Minestrone swimming in oil, calamari with batter that thick they should have been called donuts. As for the chicken in white wine, cream and a ‘touch of pesto which I won’t notice’ , well least that’s what I told by the waiter. Firstly the thinnest piece of chicken was covered in green goo. I can’t describe the taste, not in food terms anyway. Veg swimming in water Interesting how not once asked how the food was. This place appears to have lots of repeat customers, all to their own. I certainly won’t be one. Plenty better than this in town. Avoid!

fabulous authentic Italian meal this evening. There were three of us and we found making a reservation was easy and it was confirmed by email. Starters included some excellent calamari; mains was 2 sumptuous pasta dishes (a nice spicy penne and a really packed seafood...

Wrong order was delivered, don’t mind, mistakes happen. Having waited over an hour for the first one then 45 mins for the replacement was pretty disappointed with what I received. 2 of the 4 ribs were just a bare bone, then the vecchi seafood pasta had one prawn and two mussels in it, and that was it. Even then the prawn and mussels were the tiny ones you’d get in a frozen packet at the supermarket. Just really poor service, really poor quality of food, really bland flavour of food. Won’t order

Great service, 8 meals delivered within half an hour from ordering. All hot and tasty. Lasagne top notch.

The only two problems were: the cost to get it delivered in the first place, especially if there is only one of you The other problem was that I was 20p away from having it delivered, so had to buy extra sides which cost another £4. Would be a good idea to add a drink choice

I dont usually review places unless I can give five stars (my mum taught me that if you can't say anything nice you should say anything) but this place was dire. The food was hit and miss with the emphasis on miss: the calamari could have been onion rings or just circles of batter for all the texture and flavour they had. The pizza bases seemed to be pre-rolled frozen dough. Cheap ingredients prepared badly. The staff seemed more interested in shutting up shop at 9pm than asking if we wanted coffee or dessert. The prawns were well cooked in too much sauce.

What’s happened to Vecchia? We’ve been dining here for about 15yrs but after tonight won’t be returning. First off , we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon but got Soave( I guess our mistake as the waitress didn’t know the difference between the two and we...

Dishes were quite hit and miss. I had carbonara, tasted ok but was not authentic, it was swimming in cream sauce so much i had to use a spoon. One of us had calamari starter, he couldn't tell the batter from the calamari. After our mains we were ignored as they were packing up, it was about 9 so early for them. We were not offered dessert or coffee. We asked for the bill and left. I'm not local but if ever in the area I would not go back.

I had the Chicken Breast in the Chefs Special BBQ Sauce, Chips and Garlic Bread. It was amazing! Particularly the Chicken and BBQ Sauce. Everything about it was good, the BBQ Sauce is a bit sweet but good with meat.

Found the mushroom pasta a little bland and the garlic bread wasn’t the best. My partner loved his lasagne though. Will try again and order different.

The Pizza 🍕 (Calabrese) Was Delicious As Always! The Garlic 🧄 Cheese 🧀 Bread 🍞 Phenomenal! Well Maybe Not That Much 😂, But You Get What Mean! The Chips Fantastic And The Chefs BBQ Sauce Delicious But a Bit To Sweet For Me Personally. I Think I'm Going To Try It With Meat Next Time (To Appreciate It More). We Need Custom Pizzas And Drinks On The Menu! My New Favourite Place To Order!
