Vaulty Towers in Lambeth

Barman muy grosero que no podía seguir la pista de las personas que estaban en la cola antes que otros. Personal increíblemente grosero. Me llamaba hermano de una manera despectiva. Provocó tanta ira a los clientes.

Muy peculiar e inusual pub justo al sur del Támesis. Estaba absolutamente lleno y es claramente muy popular. Personal del bar muy amable.

Muy ecléctica decoración peculiar, vale la pena una visita solo por eso. Personal acogedor y servicial. Lo volvería a utilizar en la zona. A la vuelta de la esquina del callejón de graffiti y las salas de exposiciones de bóvedas.

Tuvimos un gran tiempo en este pub, tanto que nos alojamos toda la noche! Interior peculiar, gran servicio y canciones animadas tocadas toda la noche. A solo un corto paseo de la estación de Waterloo, un lugar ideal para que me reúna con la familia. Se hizo sentir bienvenido por el barman que también era un compañero escocés.

Entra y déjate sorprender por la fabulosa decoración. Es una mezcla de gótico, cómic, casa del árbol, anime y cultura de la cerveza. En la planta baja hay una zona fresca para pasar el rato, o tal vez puede relajarse en una casa del árbol. Me divertí aunque siempre había un olor que impregnaba el lugar y algunos gnats que siguieron. Espero que lo consigas en mejor momento, pero te lo recomiendo

Durante el día, un pub directo, a pocos pasos de la estación de Waterloo. Tuve un pequeño problema mientras estuve allí, pero el equipo lo rectificó perfectamente. Gran servicio, y un gran perro pub llamado Goose. Muy recomendable.

Had a great time until the obnoxious bar man came and told us very rudely only 6 people were allowed to sit were we were, when questioned how we were supposed to know this we were told again very rudely that ‘wasn’t it obvious’. To which when the realised it wasn’t we they very quickly back tracked. Rude staff, bad service.

As a long term supporter of this area and particular this pub I have been so disappointed and disheartened by the rudeness of the staff and contempt towards their customers in recent months. I’ve always felt proud to have such a cool venue locally and I’ve made a point to bring any friends, family visiting London or new colleagues to this pub as it has so far been a highlight of the area. I have so many amazing memories there it has always made me proud to think of it as “my local pub”. Sadly the experience of recent months has been anything but unique…unless rudeness, threatening behaviour from some of the staff, and contempt can be counted as a unique experience.

Not good. Messed up my order and then refused to resolve the issue properly. Not happy with how this was handled. Bad customer service

Cool place for drinks. Unique and creative bar and pub. The vibe is amazing. Fun times here with friends. Highly recommend coming here at least once.

Amazing place for drinks. Love their cocktails - espresso martini, elephant in the glass, tom collins, old fashioned and negroni. The atmosphere and vibe is great.

Great vibe and great fun, this is a really good feel factor bar, my server Thi or Chi…. I couldn’t hear (the bar was busy) was very welcoming, and extremely friendly, the cocktails are great, I didn’t eat but definitely will midweek when I can find a table.

Terrible experience.Would avoid at all costs. Overpriced drinks and overzealous door staff. We were treated with rudeness and contempt. Avoid.

Terrible - your belongings will get stolen. My friend had her bag stolen whilst in the bar, we asked the bar staff to review cctv, it took about 20 mins to get a result after being spoken down to by bar staff in a stressful situation. Finally they confirmed the bag was stolen and 'probably in a bush in the park' which made reporting this to the police difficult as they gave little information / sympathy. Faulty towers is a better suited name for this place full of horrible tatt

Not the best cocktail I’ve ever had but certainly worth a visit for the great music and decor - super quirky and really cool

This pub is so quirky. It serves food although we only had a drink it would have been a 5 but it was so cold we had to sit outside. Friendly staff nice atmosphere. Had famines in their as well as students age groups. Great drink and venue on my pub crawl in Waterloo.

A real shame that this cool pub has a couple of very rude staff members. We went in yesterday for a pint and after sitting down to drink it for about 10 minutes, we were handed plastic cups and told to leave. If you're paying £6 for a pint, it's to sit down and drink it from a glass, not outside on the pavement from a plastic cup. When I then asked the staff member why we were even sold the pint in the first place if the pub was about to close down, she patronisingly patted me on the back and handed me the keys to the pub and asked me if I would like to close the pub myself. I'm not one to go out of my way and complain online like this or give bad reviews, but I don't think any paying customer should be treated that way. We weren't the only table this happened to either, the table next to us had to leave behind about 4 full drinks and they were also upset about the situation. To be honest it felt like being robbed and then laughed at for asking why we were complaining about being robbed.

A great quirky place for drinks, over on the Southbank side, at the back of Waterloo. We walked through Leak Street Arches to get here. I like the street that Vauly Towers is on, with its few shops and little local market stalls. It makes a nice change to all the hustle bustle of the main tourist areas. Well worth seeking out.

Came here before I went to see a show around the corner. One of the best pubs in the area the staff were very welcoming and the beer was good I would highly recommend it

Vaulty Towers is in a good location on Lower Marsh, just a minute or two from Waterloo station. It's a nice part of town with plenty of places to hang out, meet friends and have fun. The pub itself is known for its highly unusual internal decor. There are models, patterns, drapes, curious props and swathes of colour all over the walls, creating a surreal but entertaining 'Alice In Wonderful' effect. The bar selection is not the widest or greatest in the world but it's good enough and you'll find something nice to drink, I'm sure. I haven't tried the food but I'm told it's pretty much standard pub fare and good enough if you just want lite bites while you're hanging out with your friends. Every time I've been to Vaulty Towers, the service has been excellent. The staff always seem warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient. The only problem, last time I visited, was the toilets. Both the male and female toilets are pretty small and cramped, so much so that neither contain any facilities to wash your hands. Instead, outside both toilet doors, is one large sink. When I was there, the sink was itself filthy, one of the soap dispensers was either empty or didn't work and one of the hand dryers didn't work. This just isn't good enough. In all other respects, Vaulty Towers is a nice place to visit, pleasantly distinctive with its own character, and in a very good place to either start or end your night out.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how quirky this place was decorated. The service was friendly, and prices were reasonable. However, the vegan mac and cheese was disappointing. I've had my fair share of vegan mac and cheeses and was disappointed that this did not live up to them. Although the taste was nice, it wasn't at all creamy or cheesy in texture. The vegan wings were very nice, however.

This is a very odd bar. There’s are sears “hidden” everywhere, up weird steps and under stair etc. I had two pints of draught cider whicH was refreshing and for London inexpensive.
