Vasantha Vilas in Newham

A clean " Canteen / Mess". This should ideally summarise my review about this restaurant. Food is excellent & definitely the kitchen staff know their job well. The 2 stars are purely for food. But, the service staff seems over worked and under paid. They are rude, unprofessional and does not seem to be concerned at all if the customer is happy or would return. Their service is as if they are doing us a favour. Eating there is always a stressful and unpleasant experience. Very reluctantly posting this review since I like the food there & sincerely hope the owners take this as a constructive criticism / feedback.

Good service by Aysha. Tasty food. Reasonable price. Additional comments: With regular visits I find them either perennially understaffed or inefficient, very slow in serving customers. It is always a long wait to be seated and then served. Reducing a star for this.

Paneer chettinad was a standout, dosa was amazing as well. Gets busy but all in all great place.

The food is quite decent! I also thought they were quite busy - which is a good sign!

Great value for money, authentic Tamil tiffin. Chutney's were all very fresh. Pongal could have been better

In eastham one of the worst places to go because it’s very dirty and not hygien and not clean enough the customer service is very bad and rude. Im kindly requesting not to go

5 Stars – Warm Hospitality and Perfect Drinks! By Raji I had a lovely experience at Vasantha Vilas Hotel UK! I stopped by for a quick tea and badam milk, and both exceeded my expectations. The tea was strong and aromatic, just how I like it, and the badam milk was rich, creamy, and full of flavor truly authentic! A special thanks to the waiters who provided excellent service with a smile. They were polite, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Their hospitality added so much warmth to the whole experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality drinks and outstanding service!

Have been in London since a couple of months now..Vasantha is the Best food I have had in london so far! The service is extremely good. Raji was up to the mark with service. Very welcoming and warm. Felt like back home!
