Pizza it’s ok but wow fries are awful combination of soggy and dry” I’m sure they have been cooked for a long time then microwaved used Valentino’s for a number of years but now I’m done gone down hill so much will find a better one in town

They have no value of the customer. Staff being aggressive. Never recommended..

It's a takeaway, so that's the reason for a low score on atmosphere. Staff are friendly & helpful. Had a two pizza blowout on the first May '24 weekend - sadly this resulted in both myself & partner getting food poisoning of some kind from the food. Not happened before . This was the 3rd time we'd been. Totally different eating experience this rime. The ingredients were bland & tasted 'off'. Crispy duck square pizza was somewhat overcooked. Too much Chinese sauce. Swimming in it. Large Half & half (chicken & mushroom/ham & pineapple) was bland & over cheesed. We'd not eaten anything else all day , so it was100% down to the pizzas. Sad. But it's now made me wary ...

Really didn't enjoy our pizzas The duck was over cooked with far too much sauce on it. We also had 1/2 & 1/2 chicken, mushroom, ham & pineapple which was bland with a strange taste, the crust was awful too so very disappointed with both pizza & £26 wasted

pizzas were lovely as always but my cheesecake dessert was still frozen!. not the first time either. think we will be going elsewhere from now on

Took over an hour. Dismissive when phoned. Salty , spongy. Heavy. Like the 70s again, but without the decent soundtrack. Not nice. Saucy Pizza was closed. Use them instead.. and they are cheaper.

Had a Valentino's special Kebab tonight, delivered , absolutely amazing, fresh , hot & God dam tasty, best I've had in a very long time , beaut , bloody lovely

Has been a while since we ordered a delivery. Delivery was prompt perhaps to much so. All pizza and calzones were soggy cold and so so salty. Please check your sauce and produce you used to be lovely but now god for bid dominoes are better🥲

To start they delivered it to the wrong house? Wasn’t even to the house next door it was two doors down. By the time I realised by checking the camera the food had gone luke warm. The food quality was sh**e as well. Pitta break could have been used to spread concrete, the meat was mediocre however there wasn’t enough to feed a child/small human. The salad if you could call it a salad? Half a cut onion and some other horrible scraggle. All this on a kebab that was 9.50? Mental. SpicChicken wings

Absolutely lovey pizza best in a long time. However, bought deserts cheesecake and carrot cake and they were both frozen, so little disappointed, because we live out in a village and couldn't be bothered driving all the way back.

Not too bad but there's better pizza's out there. A bit tasteless, pizza dough too thick and it doesn't taste like one. Made the mistake of getting a 12" instead of 9" and only had two slices, now I don't know what to do with the rest of it. 🚮

Only one word for this "DISCUSSING". Ordered a 12 inch deep pan for me and my wife, it was delivered within 15 minutes (this made me wander how fresh it was) I opened up the box to find what looked like a shallow Pie with filling it had raised sides as though it had been cooked in a Pie tin, I don't know what the base was made of (not pizza dough that's for sure) and to top it all it was way over cooked. At a price of nearly £20 with a portion of onion rings. Last time I will ever use them.

Worst pizza I've ever had. Took more than one hour to be delivered (2miles radius) came cold,hard and no cheese crust which cost me 4£on top , fries was soggy and tasteless. DO NOT RECOMMEND. HAVE A DOMINOS IF YOU WANT DECENT PIZZA 🍕

Do not waste you Time at this pizza place first of all it took only two hours for the delivery plus we asked for stuffed crust and fresh tomatoes later to find out they forgot to put the cheese in the crust and we was later to find out they gave use a plain pepperoni I had to chase down the car to try clarify with them but they agnored me and drove away It was a utter disgrace

The Best Pizza In Retford by far. Simply Divine! Cannot be beaten on quality & taste. I recommend the garlic butter on the pizza! Mouthwatering! To all the Moaning Minnie's RE Delivery Go and Collect hot & piping, you lazy Buggers 😂🤣

Usually really good hot food ,but had to chase for our delivery after an hour tonight, was told it was out for delivery, when it arrived the order was luke warm , onion rings are not nice warm , no, i didnt ring and complain as i was going to work, and I couldnt wait another hour for it to arrive . Once an excellent take away but after tonights experience ,we will be going elsewhere.

Used to be one of the best in the area. Ordered a 13in build your own thin crust and onion rings at a cost of over £17.00 it took nearly hour to arrive and when we opened it up it was cold, overcooked and the base was much thinner than previous ones. Sorry shall not be using them again.

Used to be the best takeaway in Retford by a mile, now the delivery times are beyond ridiculous, prices through the roof and our last order was stone cold, tough and stale after arriving an hour and 20 minutes after ordering. They’ve had a LOT of our custom over the years but no more unfortunately.

Had a delivery my husbands was wrong tried ringing but was constantly engaged so was going to just eat what came but mine was disgusting I ordered chicken kebab meat and chips as its my favourite and usually good ,but the chips were black and the chicken was full of gristle and ventricles so when I got through I told them about it (many times) and asked for my money back, they said I could have a credit note for my next order when I said I won't be ordering again they said I would have to take it back as there's no drivers (they were outside when I got there) I took it back and had to explain AGAIN while being eyeballed by the older bloke behind the counter definitely not ordering from here again

Nice flavour to the food and cooked well but salt overdose on everything, they even seasoned a pizza with savage amounts of salt,it was one very salty experience, it's a shame, something so simple totally ruined the food otherwise it would have been a winner 🏆

Baby Jesus himself ordered from this exact place back in the year 10BD and its been a cornerstone of the town of retford ever since. Plus, the garlic bread may even save your life if we are ever in the throws of a vampire attack. If you're looking for a good time, call valentinos... You won't be disappointed

me and my family, friends, and boyfriend have had meals from here so many times- probably too many i admit..! and every time, it’s a 5star experience. me and my family have eaten from here for a few years and i’ve never had to complain about anything. wonderful staff and service.

My absolute favourite place to get a takeaway from! The best pizza i’ve had anywhere in retford- scrap that, i genuinely think it’s the best pizza i’ve ever had. i’ve had no bad experiences here and i’ve been coming for about 3 years, the staff are lovely and the delivery drivers are always so kind too- always making conversation at the door, and having a laugh while passing over the meals. Despite the bad reviews, if you are scrolling through and debating whether or not to come here, i strongly recommend you do. take my word, everything is delicious, the delivery time is always fast, (even when they are busy). and it’s all around a better experience than i’ve had at multiple other places in retford..!

Food from here has been steadily getting worse but been giving them the benefit of the doubt. This last time though is the last time we order anything from this place. Rude staff with a don’t care attitude, order was incomplete food was overcooked and dry. Definitely will not be using again.

Food quality varies considerably from excellent to poor from one day to the next, delivery times also inconsistent sometimes it will arrive within 30mins other times up to 2 hours, we are regularly users, have never had an apology and getting fed up of the sloppy service may have to go elsewhere if things don't improve shame because when it's good it's really good. 🍕The Saucy pizza company Retford, is definitely worth a try if your also fed up with the inconsistency of Valentino's.

Ordered twice from Valentino’s. The first time was brilliant - quick, hot food, delicious! The second time we ordered was shocking. The order took almost 2 hours to get here and it’s literally just down the road by 5mins walk (we were both on zoom calls hence why we chose delivery). After waiting almost 2 hours the pizza was barely warm and the chips were cold! I can’t believe how it went from amazing the first time to so bad the second time. Would’ve been 4.5 out of 5 but now only a generous 2 out of 5.

I only saw 1 person with a visor in there, 1 guy had a mask but it was on the side of his neck, food was ok though

I ordered quite a few times, but today I was disappointed. The deep dish garlic pizza was like cardboard, flat. The seafood salad had little seafood to see and not the quality I'm used to from Valentinos.

Put order in for takeaway to night for pizza and lamb shish it took hour half which I understand as busy ,but wen it arrived the shish was cold and pizza just warm I rang them straight away the young girl was lovely but the man was very rude said that’s how it comes not cold surely I asked if he would do owt bout it but he said no that’s how it is not doing anything found this disgusting as not cheap meal and thy say support local people well I will not order from them again and thy need to sort out customer care .

Usually these pizzas, and food are ok. But on this occasion it was a waste of money, the pizza I had ordered had plastic in it, which I was chewing, I actually couldn’t believe my eyes. This is so incompetent of the chefs. The meat was burnt. The pizza was definitely not recommend. Used to be the best in the town, but from now on I won’t be ordering again, as their cooking standards are clearly so low. It doesn’t make me happy to be writing this review.

I ordered roasted vegetables lasagna with vegetarian salad enough for 2 well worth what I paid and a chocolate fudge cake definitely get it again

Really lovely food and cheap prices! Food always gets delivers with 30 to 40 minutes. Even tastes good the next day! I suggest the mozzarella sticks! I’ve had all of the pizzas in Retford and can stay all others seem terrible and I can’t eat them anymore.

Ridiculously long wait for an average pizza. No attempt to ring me, rang 4 times. Told it was out for order, still took 50mins from then so clearly lied. 1st and last time I order from them.

The girl on the phone can't hear you properly, no matter how many times you call or repeat yourself. Food is fine when it's right sadly the service is poor.

Felt really let down by Valentinos tonight, took 2 hours to deliver a pizza, 2 chases and speaking with a girl that couldn't care less and was unwilling to supply a time scale for delivery. Guidelines are ring if you don't get an email confirmation in 15 minutes. I left it 30, then was rudely told it would be with me within an hour of ordering!! Chased again after an hour and a half and was told "Next delivery" but still didn't get for another 30 minutes. When the pizza was delivered it was dry and tasted like it had been left on a hot plate for a long time. I got the feeling they'd forgotten the order. Really disappointed and let down by the service tonight

Have used valentinos since it opened, lady who struggled with order in the first place, sent out a beef burger,rather than chicken, same thing we have ordered for years, when I rang to complain, she thought I had been put on hold, and heard the man say that he wants the burger back!!!, knowing full well it couldn't be used, unless of course, it could??? Having to wait another hour for delivery, and the return of the burger is a complete insult, when it won't be eaten and having spent alot of money with them over the years! A simple sorry would of done!! So valentinos or whoever, enjoy your very old and cold burger!!

Ordered delivery at 6pm said would take 1 to 1 half hours. When food arrived the salad was warmer than the kebabs and garlic bread phoned Valentino’s but they did not answer. Absolutely shocking service no way ordering from their again

To be honest order quite a lot from these guys at the moment and never been disappointed nothing to do with the food but asked for delivery after 8.30 pm (any time after just not before) so everyone eating would be back from work and they delivered at 8.10 really not good enough I wouldn't eat warmed up pizza after being out at work all day .... very disappointed tonight 😞

On Sunday 8th of Dec about 9pm call at this place for the first time all i asked for was a small portion of chips & donna meat no salad or sauce just that but a childs portion as i struggle with eating my food , they charge me £5.50 for this when looking at the item i ordered yes it was very small portion but couldn't justify them charging me this amount on confronting them on this they was very rude and abrupt just couldn't believe how i was treated I'll never return to this place & won't recommend to nobody that i no plus will slander this establishment in every way i can

I order most weekends because my son likes there food and spend between 10-20 quid plus delivery charge.most of the time it arrives before an hour but sometimes it doesn’t get here until way later.tonight I waited for an hour and 25mins.you get a half hearted apology and that’s it.you should at least get money off if you have to wait for over an hour.if Domino’s can deliver in half an hour or you get a discount then so can you!dont lose customers because you don’t care.

I wrote a review back in September and my children were pestering for a treat of pizza so I thought I’d give the benefit of the doubt and try again. Ordered and was told it would be with me within the hour. I checked as we had issues last time and yes not an issue. It has taken nearly two hours from ordering at 7.30 for 1 pizza and 1 garlic bread!!Should have just gone and bought one and cooked it as it would have been quicker! When it arrived I was told there was a shortage of drivers. Driver was lovely but cold food which needed warming up What?!?!?!?!*Avoid- unless you like wasting your money*

It looked delicious - oily and meaty - it looked like they had put it in a deep fat fryer and as a garnish... extra oil!!! It tasted even better!!! Absolutely delish 10/10. p.s. I only ordered chips and they came with extra pork.

We order from Valentinos for last 5 years never had any problem, as a pizza lover I must say Valentinos pizzas are best pizza I ever had, I have tried pizza in many countries and all around Uk they are number 1
