Ordered food and found hairs in my food. Rang the takeaway and asked to speak to the manager, I explained that I found hair in our food. The manager did not seemed concerned and stated that this can happen time to time. I said well it’s not acceptable and I would appreciate a refund. The manager refused and carried on to be rude. Do not use this takeaway 🤮🤮

Placed my order via app but forgot drinks so I called and added 2 drinks food was delivered very fast but no drinks still charged for the drinks next time don't forget my drinks 👊 🤒

Ordered a burger with no salad got salad, ordered a wrap with cheesy chips just got chips, rung up to be told that to have our order corrected we had to pay, manager is rude, and should not be within a kitchen embarrassing customer service and embarrassing meal preparation

Ordered a jacket potaoe with cheese and beans and i got some sort of magked chilli or boloneges and cheese jacket potatoe instead Quality was terrible and it overprices doe to its presintation not only that i found a dead fly in the salad

We ordered chicken from you last night and you really need to check your chicken! It’s off and needs throwing away! I’ve had my mum up all night throwing it up who’s now badly in bed and all she ate was that chicken! smelt horrible and tasted as bad as it smelt, also your chips taste like they been cooked then left and then warmed up!!! SORT IT OUT!!!!

Used to be really good but the chips went downhill couple years ago and haven’t been very good ever since. Very tough to chew. Not nice at all and makes eating the takeaway feel like a chore, when it should be enjoyable. Recommend eating elsewhere

Without a shadow of a doubt the best takeaway I have ever had. We’ve probably tried most things on their menu and can honestly say we’ve NEVER had a bad meal from here. Cannot fault it.

Love their chips and kebabs. Kids compare anything to McDonald's but like their nuggets and chicken strips. So treat food can actually move away from mcdonald's now!

Customer service over the phone was so friendly, I found the person on the other end of the phone so understanding and kind as I made a mistake with my order, would always recommend as service was brilliant.

If you want pizza I can't recommend Valentino's enough.. For chips or kebabs go to charcoal grill,or spital hill chippy The staff in topkapi are rude especially the middle aged guy who appeared to be in charge, who was getting aggressive.. I'd rather starve than give them money!!!!

I have ordered for years from topkapi. The new owners are not in the same level as previous. When ordering online they have a delivery time which they very rarely adhere to. From 55mins to over a hour and a half. Poor service .

5 star food -1% customer service Etiquette, bad attitude and very rude when ring up enquiring about a order!!! Shame

You have to wait a while as they are usually very busy with delivered orders but the wait is worth it. Very tasty Donna Kebab with a varied salad, could do with a little dressing (a bit raw)

Waited 1 hour 40 mins for delivery, when the food came it was very disappointing, burnt chips, my sons pizza was burnt, my partners pizza was burnt and my pizza was dry! Just awful, last time we’ll use them, also got order wrong, pointless ringing up to say anything by the looks of the other reviews, really gone down hill

Foul owner. Told me to $%#! Off as I left with a pizza I had to collect as they made it wrong again. I couldn't believe it. I was patient and polite, and was talked to like that in front of another gentleman who was waiting who was absolutely disgusted at the owners behaviour and treatment towards me. Next time him to. Look at the dirty fingernails if the bad service doesn't put you off enough!

The food has been going downhill lately. Never used to have a problem, but lately the chips have been vile. Overcooked and old. I don't believe for one second that I was sent fresh chips, which that had plenty of time to cook some since it took over 1 hour for our food to be delivered. Not ordering from them again.

It was 3 out of 3 times we had an error so as we sat to eat after collecting our food we saw my husband's was wrong. It was the same as mine minus 1 topping. He has ordered complete opposite. He would have eaten it but is allergic to one of the items on there. We called and was told they were too busy to deliver we would have to collect. So I went back to collect his and it was a very stressful working environment. I worked for award winning Red Tomato in Doncaster and it was never as awful as this. In fact it was busy fun and the staff were never so curt. I was too early to collect my pizza. So I was clearly shouted I would have to wait. Then it was pushed at me 5 minutes late to which the man in the red top looked at me and I politely said hey it's been 3 out of 3 times it's been wrong. And just like the guy on the phone he never acknowledged this. He said ok ok bye. I was just flabbergasted. Then. As I'm walking out the shop I hear countering then a very clear "f#@! you" At this point I wasn't taking that as I had been very polite very patient. I challenged him red top man and he denied it. There was a gent-customer in the shop all the time I was there..20 minutes who couldn't also believe his ears. As id left and gone past in the car he was getting thrown out for saying that the red top man was out of order. I can not believe that I was treat like this. Your food is great topkapi but your customer staff and team skills let you down badly.

Ordered 2 7 inch meal deals only sent 2 pizza so driver took food away i called shop to explain what was wrong he told me he would send correct order out a few mins later a loud bang on door two men stood with the 1st order demanding me to pay i explained it was wrong and that another was coming he was shouting and saying u pay now u call shop i tried to tell him again it was wrong but in the end i felt scared so shut the door i then rang the shop to explain what there drivers did and i may aswell of not bothered they didnt care i can honestly say i wont spend another penny in this shop

Me and my friend just ordered some chips and a pizza and my friends found an onion on hers when she is allergic to them and also found a hair and when we rang up and told them the Ssid “what did you also find a fly In there” and when I said no they said bye and ended it very rude indeed

Never again! We ordered on just eat by card and were told the food would be half hour, after an hour of waiting we called them and were told it was on its way but we would need to pay another £4 in cash for delivery on top of what we paid on our card! We refused to pay this as we had no cash in the house! After the food arrived our 9 year old daughter said her wrap tasted and smelled funnyi took it from her and checked it, it smelled of fish and was inedible. We will not be ordering again.

Easily the best place in Retford for kebabs , the service is excellent people friendly and they can deliver too. Have now discovered they do milk shakes which are brilliant too. The kebabs are always freshly cooked and you can watch them cook if you want to and some good banter can be had, you won't be disappointed

This is a take away that serves up pizza, kebabs, burgers etc. We have used them for several years and only ever bought pizza from them. The food is better than average and the owners have always been pleasant to my face. On this occasion though, they seemed to forget that I am the customer and that no matter how bad the situation, customers still expect to be treated fairly; plus we can tell when we're being lied to. In short, my (online) order, for delivery, was late; they normally deliver in 30/35 mins but this time it was 90 mins and there was no indication that the food had even left the shop. I was on the phone for the second time trying to pin them down to a reliable time; I was asking where the food was, what time it would be with us etc. and was getting stock answers like "it's just left" and "we're really busy". There were no apologies offered. It was all about how busy THEY were and not about the fact that they had hungry people they had let down. By the end of the call, the owner CANCELLED the order. Yep, he effectively told me that I was trouble and he didn't like dealing with me and he was stressed and he didn't want to serve us and he had no respect for the years of loyalty we had shown them. Thankfully other pizza providers are a plenty in this town so we won't have a problem finding a business that actually understands how to treat a situation when things go wrong

Placed order at 7:15, told 40-50 mins which for Friday night we expected. Rang to enquire at 8:15 and told another 15-20 mins, 8:45 and still not arrived. Too late too start cooking so had to accept, after another phone call, a further 7-8 mins. Food arrived 9:10 and it was usual good standard. No apology from delivery person and no discount. Not really good enough customer service.

Delivery was very quick. But order was incorrect, had to pay more for something else after they failed to change the menu to be accurate. Does a chicken fillet burger have batter?!

Shocking! The only thing decent was the can of pop! The chips was cold and chewy& the wrap had about 1 peice of meat in! Phoned up to complain and they was nothing but rude. Paid extra money for delivery and when spoke to them on the phone they told us to bring the food back to the shop even tho we paid extra for delivery as we have no car!

On way back from town after calling it early, ordered on way home the chefs kebab special at £13, not long after walked through my door it arrived..... Will feed a small family, salad boxed up nice and fresh... Pitta(s) separate, chips hot and boxed up..... A big box of pipeing hot selection of kebab meat with peppers onions and mushrooms, that with a big bottle of cherry coke.... This would abate any appetite and is value for money! However, girlfriend went to bed and had to tackle it on my own! Epic fail!! But was tasty.... Least there was left overs ;-)

Great kebab and pizza takeaway. Food is always fresh and the pizza isn't swimming in oil. Friendly staff and always quick to deliver. Have used many times and will continue to use.
