Kenny's Hen House in Bassetlaw

Garlic breads were black and burnt, cheesecake frozen and delivery 30 mins late.

Since the change from Kennys to Star its been disappointing, took stuff off menu i use to eat, so ordered a burger, came soggy and chips were cold and the drink i ordered was missing. The free garlic bread was like carboard.

Had to wait 90+ minutes for delivery but it was worth it. I understand it's under new owners so can understand the delay. Massive portions. Certainly filled a hole. I'll have to remember to order a bit earlier next time

2 Hours for some chicken and chips, honestly just go to KFC it’s worth paying extra. Update: Food came, freezing cold.

Ordered chocolate fudge cake and a cheesecake tonight. The cheese cake came frozen. I rang up about this and the lady who answered told me they was nothing they could do about this. Shocking!

** I have edited my review because I have ordered twice since my previous review and I am very happy to say my1 bad experience seems to have been an unfortunate accident probably due to teething issues during the change of ownership. My last 2 orders have been up to their usual fantastic standard , if not a little better . The last chicken strips I had were huge and very tasty so it’s great value for money . I had to edit my review because I believe it’s only fair to give compliments where they are due . People are quick to complain but then don’t give positive feedback. I think I may have been too quick to judge . Everyone has off days 😄. However I ordered tonight to come at 10:00pm and I had to nip out at 8:45pm but I was going to be back for the delivery time I had chosen. At 9:02pm the delivery driver phoned to say he was outside my Bungalow. So I had to rush back home to get the food . I explained to the driver that I wasn’t expecting my food for another hour . He said that it has been taken over by new owners and they had probably got mistaken and sent my order early . The food itself isn’t the usual quality either the doner meat was spilt all over the bag as it had been pack sloppily. I hope the new owners get into the swing of things quickly as I won’t be ordering again if I have another experience like this one . I am sorry I have left a negative review . but I am fair if something is good I always put a good review so to be balanced I have to leave a negative review if I am unhappy. Also the delivery driver was banging on my door before he rang me , because my disabled wife was in the house and she rang me scared because she can’t walk to the door but had heard the banging.

The new owners are fantastic my order was late so they re sent me my full order free of charge after I'd received my original order , top quality food and service highly recconend

Tonight's food was a disappointment, the bun was stale, really felt like it was slapped together, 😔..... Tried it again not good at all chips Rock hard, paid £2.50 for gravy it was dishwater 🤢 last time for me

£20 minimum charge for delivery plus 3.50 for it to be delivered I don't think so somehow . Daylight robbery. What about when a person just orders for themselves?? Would never spend £20+...Just lost yourself a loyal customer of 2 years.

Never had a bad meal from Kennys. Their donner wraps are the best around, pizzas are decent enough to compete with the big names the loaded fries are absolutely banging. The chicken is a tad salty for my liking but I don't consume a lot of salt. Can't fault it one bit

I ordered a bloody strawberry cheesecake and it was frozen like a brick. Not very happy at all what a waste of £4….!!!!! 😡😡😡🤬

Have ordered a fair few times from here. It's never been amazing, just OK. But going forward we won't be ordering again from here. Our last order at the weekend took over and hour and a half to arrive (they were busy so fair enough) however it was stone cold when it did get here. They did do us fresh food and bring it straight out, however the woman on the phone was just rude and acted as though it was putting her out.

Love this place in my opinion best take away in village for kebabs pizza chicken and burgers especially since New owner friendly staff great food

Ordered from here for a few years now. Used to be good but gone down hill over the last few months. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down. Sort it out Kennys 😩

Ordered kebabs yesterday and few pieces of chicken in both and no slald at all on the chicken wrap. Did not listen to my special requests either.

the best chicken on the face of this earth never tasted anything actually like it and just to think mcdonalds thought they had a well kept secret and KFC thought their's was finger licking not by a long shot..Kennys House 100% always love it

Usually order online from Kenny's but this time as I was alone I went into the shop. Counter service was a pleasant exchange and although there were several people waiting my order was quickly filled. The meal itself was very tasty. The spicy fries were good and the usual consistent standard. The burger was juicy and very tasty. The bacon was perfectly cooked, not fatty, and not too crispy.

Second best is not an option with them their level of service is excellence throughout. Mouthwatering portions of food with nice deserts various types of drinks. Its a very good service all round

Don't order off the app it's all ways wrong when it comes to you other than that this place is really good all ways happy to sort any problems out but problems is there seems to be alot at the moment

Use regularly. Decent prices, delivery times aren't that bad and we've never heard a problem with orders being wrong. Would recommend Kenny's for Pizza, burgers or chicken

Really good food and great staff

2 hours waiting for food as they got order wrong and still stuff missing when it came. Shame as normally good food but this has happened last few times weve ordered now. The telephone staff get the blame but as i know them and they know my daughter has allergies i know its down to the chefs not reading tickets correctly. I understand they are busy but was told 45 mins to an hour when ordered

What an awesome place. Food is top class, their chicken strips are just amazing. Really fast friendly service. They can't do enough for you. 5 stars all the way. Way better than kfc.

when you order off just eat they dont look at the specific times you order if you specify a time to deliver very very poor especially when the wbsite asks you what time yo require delivery they cant even stick to it aaaaaggggghhhhhhhh
