The food tastes great, I gave 4 stars as I've never been but only eaten food from there and the staff could be the worst or the best people however I think there probably nice people After 2 years I've picked up food myself, the staff were great,

I think this place is nice I bought the regular fish and chips it was nice and decent portion size.

The Best Fish and Chips been going there over 7 years staff is always polite and respectful and the portions are always great. Top bunch of lads.

The fish and chips were excellent the service was very good the price very good. The main reason why I give it 4 stars was that only accept cash we live in 2025 no the year 2000 it’s annoying because there is no ATMs near by. Please have a contactless machine

Probably one of the Worst fish iv ever had really dry with no flavour. The scones have pepper inside them I don't know what they fry in but everything looks pale. Won't be returning far better places around.

Just eaten from here. I ordered gluten free fish and chips aswell as various other things. The food was delicious. Nice filling portions fresh and hot. Would recommend.

I Just nipped into Utley Fisheries on the way home and I was wowed by the quality, the fish was white and literally flaked as I touched it with the fork and the batter had a fantasy crunch, lovely fresh cut chips cooked perfectly and the mushy peas are really tasty, this is definitely my favourite Fish and Chip shop in Keighley, fantastic job lads, I'll definitely be a regular customer, 10 out of 10 👍

Very nice fish and chips, not greasy/oily like most places, fried just to perfection, as soon you bite into the fish, you can instantly tell it is fried in fresh and clean oil. Does not leave that strange heartburn feeling in your chest usually after a takeout. Ordered special fish and chips and adults fish bites and chips for delivery and delivered within 10 mins of being ready. Definitely one of best fish and chips in town, 4.5/5 will order again.

Just been into this little gem I had a fish scone(Yorkshire fishcake)chips and peas very tasty not greasy it was that nice I nearly went back for more

The best fish and chips in Yorkshire!!! The fish is fried to perfection. The batter doesn't get soggy or peel off the fish. It was nice and crispy upon delivery. The mushy peas and curry sauce are mouth watering. The popcorn chicken was tender and tasty it was loved by my little one. Definitely would recommend everyone to try this hidden gem.

Utley Fisheries is hands down the best place for seafood takeout! I ordered 8 meals, and every single one was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The portion sizes were generous, and to top it all off, they threw in free sides! The chips were golden and crispy, and the curry sauce was fresh and flavourful. The staff are friendly and made the whole experience even better. Whether you're ordering for a group or just yourself, Utley Fisheries delivers top-notch seafood. Five stars all the way! Large portions, really nice friendly staff. Unfortunately didn't think much about the fish and chips. Chips was large and well cooked but a little on the greasy side, tasted like cheap fish didnt really taste of much and most of the batter stuck to the paper. Would not go again and would stick to kayes in ingrow.

I was recommended Utley fisheries by my neighbor and today is the first time that I have ever used Utley fisheries and believe me it was absolutely amazing. The gentleman at the fish shop itself was very polite and engaging but the food looked amazing in the glass cabinet and it also smelt wonderful. I then went on to order, so I ordered special and chips for the wife and a special for myself, and when I got home, I was very surprised firstly at the shear size and secondly at the quality of the fish it went in to be by far the best tasting fish I have ever had from a take away and these guys go along way in promoting keep it local because I’d say there is no where better for fish and chips that includes any Seaside area or anywhere in the UK that I have ever had fish and chips so I would just like to say a MASSIVE thank you very much to the guys at Utley fisheries for doing a superb job and making food that is absolutely beautiful to eat and a pleasure to pay for many thanks Chris.Walker also thanks to Barry my neighbor for the recommend in the first place.

Great quality GF Fish and Chips - the GF batter is light and incredibly crispy, the Chips are crispy and the Curry was delicious. Something else to add was the quality of presentation, nice quality Boxes and a Bag - little details that make all the difference!

I recently visited Utley Fisheries for the first time and was disappointed with the experience. The fish and chips had poor quality, excessive oil, and an unpleasant odor. Overall, it felt like an unhealthy dining option. I would not recommend it to others based on my unsatisfactory visit.

First visit, nice food, but the chips portion was small. Second time was fine. But most recently ordered through uber, although it was to be delivered it didn’t arrive., was told no driver. Was given upgraded fish as I collected myself. Unfortunately the fish tasted off, but the main complaint was the chips were not fresh , they were refried and very hard , therefore will not be ordering again.

On holiday from Liverpool, came across Utley Fisheries by sheer chance, our lucky day, amazing fish & chips, best i have ever tasted and I am fussy. Service as well was first class, definitely would recommend, amazing.

Very friendly staff and food was very nice but have had better not in West Yorkshire would say this equals 1 in 3 fish and chips shops I have visited so yes one of the best in West yorkshire, I have tasted better in East Yorkshire and Humberside. So sadly a star taken away but most fish and chip shops in West yorkshire I would only give 2 or 3 star so well done as four star is very good. But the best impression was the politeness of staff and service which is 5 star, atmosphere shop not very roomy but excellent what they do there, will I visit again over two years ago I would of certainly said yes but have health problems and don't eat fish and chips regularly, but yes if I fancy fish and chips again certainly is 1 out 3 of fish and chip shops I would visit again and food in my opinion would give 88% which is very high and certainly would recommend to others.

Just visited Utley Fisheries for the first time...small chip shop but Maximum flavour. The Fish was cooked to perfection and reminded me of old style fish n chips shops. The owners were delightful and provided excellent customer service. You wont be dissapointed. See you soon

Had this on saturday, food was amazing, the mushy peas are a must try, not runny like other chip shops and definately not out of a tin. The chap behind the counter said they are home made and they do taste amazing! Chips were fluffy and light and the fish, wow, flaky crispy batter and the fish was beautiful. Not oily, just right. Would definately recommend and I'll be back soon!

We found this place purely by chance, heading home from a trip to the cinema, we detoured to check out a house for sale. Tired and hungry we googled to find somewhere that sold gluten-free fish and chips, and this was the nearest option. My husband phoned to make sure they were still serving gluten-free, as some places aren’t consistent, and we were told that so long as we ordered ahead of time we were fine, as it would take around 15 minutes. This was perfect timing from where we found ourselves, so we placed our order and headed over to Utley. By the time we got there, the rain was tipping down, so only my husband went inside, but he was impressed with how clean the place was, and how friendly and professional the three guys working there were. And when we opened our wrapped fish and chips in the car, too hungry to leave them until we would have reached home 45 minutes later, we were rewarded with perfect fish and chips. No soggy chips here. Perfectly cooked and golden, fantastic texture. The fish was also cooked to perfection: firm and moist on the inside, light and crispy on the outside. Portion sizes managed to outface even my hungry teenage son, let alone his parents. We don’t quite live close enough to make this our regular chippy, but we’ll definitely be making the detour for their excellent fish and chips when we’re next in the area. UPDATE: stopped in last night on the way back from IKEA. Pleased to say that our first trip wasn’t a fluke and that our meal yesterday was every bit as good as the first. Would give an extra star if I could!

The chips are ok. The fish was great, although on the small side. The batter was good.
