Usta in Glasgow City

Absolutamente hermoso! La comida era increíble, el menú tiene pequeñas frases divertidas y es un buen lugar para cenar solo, ya que es un buen lugar acogedor! Baklava es bueno y la hamburguesa está simplemente bendecida. La comida es 10 / 10 y el personal es acogedor! Segunda visita y estoy seguro de que habrá más!

Fuimos a una cena familiar la semana pasada y nos decepcionó mucho, estaba desierto un sábado por la noche. Si usted está buscando una auténtica experiencia mediterránea y si has estado en Pasha / Sultán / Azafrán entonces este no es el lugar para usted y no recomendaría Usta a nadie. La comida no tenía sabores y era contundente. El tamaño de las porciones en comparación con el precio que me cobraron tampoco era bueno. Dando una estrella por el servicio y la presentación.

Primera noche en Glasgow buscando un lugar único para cenar. Usta estuvo genial. Pintoresco edificio y la comida era excelente. Muy recomendable.

Had an early meal before going to the Hydro. Place was busy early which was a good sign. Food was excellent and flavoursome. Service was with a smile. Can't fault the place, so pleased we went! Definitely recommended.

We were visiting Glasgow for an exhibition at the SEC centre, and took a stroll to see what restaurants appealed as we were looking for something a little different. We took a look at Usta and the menu seemed to be packed with wonderful dishes. We were not disappointed! The food was wonderful, really tasty even the accompanying salad seemed to have more flavour. Also, the portions were decent, not fussy. The restaurant is fairly small and has a welcoming atmosphere and is decorated in a slightly quirky Persian theme. Where we were seated, we were able to see our food being prepared by the chef in the adjacent kitchen. The waitress was very attentive, although it wasn't that busy, as it was still early. Definitely recommended if you're looking for something a little different.

Fabulous food, so tasty, and great service. Can’t wait to go back and would recommend to anyone. We had the chicken wings to start and a burger and chicken burger.

Food was excellent..the lamb was so tasty ...sweet potatoes..humous...prawn starter in a creamy sauce and crusty bread to soak it all up...a little gem of a place. Staff were attentive and very friendly !!! I'll be back very soon ...

Food was amazing and staff was great. Good place for small or big groups. Only suggestion I would make would be to fine tune the ambiance a bit by getting dimmer lights, heating for the restaurant and music (Christmas music this time of year)

Terrible meal last night in Usta. I had red guard, with roasted vegetables jn an olive sauce. The fish had loads of bones and skin on. The sauce was overpowering and sickly, the plate was swimming in oil. The menu said it came with flat bread, however it didn't come with it and when I asked I was told by the waitress it doesn't come with bread. My wife had moussaka, fries, flat bread. The moussaka was burnt and overloaded with cheese, the fries were average, the bread was average too. I mentioned to the waiter, perhaps the owner, and he took money off for the moussaka. I would never return.

It’s always lovely to explore somewhere new and the menu looked great so we went in! Perhaps the service wasn’t slick but it was so friendly, lovely smiley people and the food…. It’s years since I tasted lamb steak as tender as deliciously marinated and yes, generous portions. It’s a bit kitsch in decor but for the food… don’t hesitate.
