Uskudar Turkish Kitchen Kebab in Islington

Fast and genuinely warm service. The chicken and lamb cubes were perfectly soft—yes, even the lamb, and we’re famously picky. No old sheep vibes here. The homemade sauces, courtesy of the mum whooshing around, added that perfect homely touch. Professional yet personal and at a fair price. We’ll be back.

Lovely food but slow service. I should've eaten before hand to fill up that time I was waiting!! not sure about this one.

Great ambience to sit out, either alone or with friends

Be very careful when you go to this kebab shop. The food is fine but they like to overcharge people. This is a popular late night spot frequented by drunk people. They take advantage of drunk people by having them tap their cards multiple times (and tell them that the first payment did not go through). If they are challenged, they give you the money back in cash but a lot of people clearly don't realise end up and paying double. Make sure they give you everything you order. They like to charge you for chips and then don't actually put them in the bag.
