USA Chicken in Cambridge

I was craving a decent chicken filet burger for my lunch and these guys didn’t disappoint. The burger was excellent, hot fresh and great flavour with a generous portion of chips. On top of the food being great the staff are friendly 100% recommend.

The only reason I write this review is because I was almost going to avoid this place because of the review about allegedly finding rat droppings in the food. It was close to my hotel so I decided nevertheless to check it out. The place is clean. The employee who greeted me and prepared my food was very friendly. I got a burger with fries and dined in the room in the back. The burger was OK the fries were better than McD's. At some point I noticed two little dark crumbs and I was alarmed!... But it turns out they were just two pieces of burnt chicken breading crumbs. I think they fry the chicken in the same frier. I also took a peak in the kitchen in the back and it looked very clean. I would still recommend this place.

Annoyed, I got a take away done kebab, I asked for the donner meat to be a bit crispy, not hard just put it on the grill for a few minutes. I didn't feel like the guy serving me really cared about my order. I think they just think that everyone is drunk and will it whatever they serve, regardless. Anyway got home and had to fry the donner meat myself. If they just cared a little bit more it COULD be half decent.

The food is really tasty. I love chicken, chips and baklava😄 yummy

Service and atmosphere was decent but there was rat droppings in my food, my youngest daughter got sick and was off school for a week terrible food also heard rats in the back, and was confirmed by a member of staff in person on the 3lwe went on the 22nd of May 2024 I do not recommend

Wings were really crunchy and had just the right amount of spice to them, really enjoyed them, some of the best chicken shop wing you will get, the chicken wasn’t on the same level as the wings but still decent. Chips with the peri salt was really nice. Enjoy everything, even though I didn’t get to eat the food till 20 minutes after I brought it, due to packaging it maintain its heat. Customer service on point, not your typical grumpy chicken shop workers. Not many chicken shops in Cambridge, but no need as this one is really good.

The falafel, gyro and doner is very good! The sauces are delicious. I like getting extra sauces on the side. They are very generous in their meat and veggie portions.

Food quality is okay nothing special Lots of good improvements made keep it up

Great crispy fried chicken. Decent size, pieces bigger than competition;) well spiced, prepared in small batches, on my visit just fried. Bring Coke Zero.

What a genuinely pleasant surprise. Place was lovely and clean. Food looked well laid out and presented. We went based on recommendation of friend that lives on Victoria Road. We wanted some of the old school Cambridge Spicy Potatoes and the place did not disappoint. Seriously hot and fluffy with the right amount of spice. Could not fault the spicy chicken wings either. A big thumbs up and well done chaps. Will definitely be back soon once that Spicy potato craving comes back again but for now I’m stuffed! And the prices were also very fair!

Breathy quality fried crumb chicken fresh fries were better most too the donor wrap was good fresh salad think should asked lemon dressing fresh best was little oily but was ok i ate lot no issues could improve maybe made own kebab meat overall reliable for hungry horse

I had an absolutely delicious döner kebab wrap and it was great, and it was very cheap. My fiends had the chicken and chips pack and the double cheese burger which looked very good and according to my friends was great. Underrated place should go.

Absolutely amazing best in Cambridge!

Hi there Went to the grand opening on monday 24th again 25th and 26th On the wednesday 26th ordered a 10 chicken box and a kebab and large chips Had to wait almost 1 hour in the shop for my food Yes unbelievable i was in there 55 mins standing and just having to wait that long Chicken was good Chips were good also But the kebab meat was on the dry side Tbh i was expecting a refund as noone wants to wait that long My partner waiting outside in the car was very concerned that i was gone so long I wouldnt want to go back if thats the service iam going to get Plus it was roasting hot in there Felt quite unwell waiting that long

Well what can i say. Run buy young guys, but what a turn around from the old Tommy tuckers. Much better food, and a reasonable price. Very polite staff. Chicken is great. Best of luck with the business guys.
