Urban Fresh Burgers & Fries - Halifax in Calderdale

Had a problem with our order through Just Eat so we called the store Halifax and spoke to a lovely young lady and her manager and we explained the situation and they was very helpful and quickly resolved the situation. Highly recommend! 👍🏼👍🏼

Delicious burgers with loads of fries. Highly recommended but...... the place is thick with smoke from the grill, so much smoke that our clothes stunk when we left after 20 mins and the taxi driver commented regarding the smell.

Called for burger meals after the movies. Got to say these burgers are the tastiest ever. We need an Urban in Milton Keynes.

Aditi was so lovely and the food is fresh and so good!!

We spent approximately £70 on burgers (delivered). The food was terrible. Burnt burgers, so much so the cheese (extra cheese as well) had completely disintegrated as had the burger sauce. The fries were also burnt, asked for salt on & there was none. All in all an extremely disappointing & experience lesson learned. Will not use ever again!!!

Came in on Friday night (08/12/23) after work for a little treat and was not disappointed. The burger was so juicy and I love the customisable toppings, especially the jalapeños as they add the perfect kick! The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff very accommodating, will be returning!!

Not a burger person but urban burgers are the best definatley would recommend and staff are really friendly

I Love this place lovely friendly staff quick service the burgers were delicious the fries were beautiful for 4 adults it was less than £40 a thoroughly enjoyable experience I think we were all of the same mind Excellent.

Ordered 2 meals for delivery tonight, super fast delivery and spoke to Sam over the phone he was great, even threw in a couple of extra dips for us. Burgers really were beaut!! 10/10 customer service and for the food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

i always come to urban burger to fuel up after a good workout and the service is always extremely quick and easy. the food is amazing and there is a good amount of vegetarian options. the staff are lovely and welcoming, im often served by Sam and he is always very friendly and patient with customers. i 100% recommend😁

The burger was solid went for the chicken and beef burger although there was a little bit of oomph missing Chips crisp although there overall taste was fairly average Would recommend the cheese dip (home made and very cheesy) Milkshake very nice Was lucky enough to make the most of the 50% off coupon , for this price this made the food excellent value and the quality was well above what was paid although at full price there are other hither places that do this better in terms of flavours and the food , all in all a solid burger joint although you can’t help but feel it’s a 5 guys clone

Absolutely loved the bacon burger beautiful beef and tye bacon was cooked perfectly!! And the paprika fries omg they were amazing and for the amount you get amazing price too!!

Aditi was very welcoming and gave good service quickly the chips were banging and it was quiet and calm and also good for quality

Shannon served me on till she was very friendly and happy to help me with any questions I had regarding the menu. The manager came over and checked to see if everything was okay with the food once we recieved it. Great customer service & even better burgers!

Today was the greatest experience in a fast food restaurant I have ever had, from the amazing food to the fantastic service from Sam and Shannon. I had a brilliant time and would recommend this place to anyone.

Tried this out and service was good ordered a selection of different items including the paprika fries 🍟 they were very nice! Presentation could do with some improvement as everything is served in plain brown bags if you like burgers then it’s worth a visit

I’ve been to Urban burger quite a few times and the experience is always good. The staff are super welcoming and friendly. The burgers are juicy and it’s good that you can customise the toppings! Recommend trying if you are in Halifax :)

The food tastes so fresh. Came out quick and piping hot. Enjoyed every bite of my chicken burger. Tastiest I've had in a while. The cheese sauce with the fries was so flavoursome. I had a milkshake with maltesers, salted caramel and whipped cream. Delicious! Prices are good too. Highly recommend for a good meal 👌

Been here tonight for the first time. Cheeseburger was amazing and fries huge portion. Guy on till very friendly and explained everything, would definitely return, I'm rather annoyed at myself for not going before now!

There was some rude customers in front of us but that didn’t stop the cashier for giving us perfect service. Her name was Aditi and she was so sweet, it was my boyfriends birthday and she gave him a free milkshake. Best customer service we have ever had! Also food is amazing the mozzarella dippers are fire!!

Good place for a decent burger. I like the fact that you can choose your stack and then just add whatever you want as you make your order, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, the list goes on. The burger itself was very tasty, my only criticism is that the paprika fries that came with it was massively over salted, to the point that I could no longer eat them after a few! Good overall experience here as a whole.

We’ve been here twice now As a family of 4, and have had great experiences each time. The staff are fantastic, friendly knowledgeable and patient as we ordered. All the food is cooked fresh, and took around 15 minutes to arrive. Everything is clearly labelled so you know whose food is whose and everything is piping hot. The burgers & fries are tasty and you get great portions. The kids have loved the milkshakes and they serve beers which compliment the burgers nicely. All reasonably priced we have paid around £55 which to feed a family of four I think is great. Each time we have been there has been a standout member of staff who is so friendly and good at her job the last time we made sure she knew we appreciated her. Go, you won’t be disappointed. And it’s a Yorkshire company - what’s not to like! Thank you Urban Fresh Burgers! We will be back!

Stopped here for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed. The service was amazing and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The fries were so large we shared a bag between 3 of us and there was still some left over as we were all so full. Definitely be returning.

You know that feeling when you have a hankering for a great burger? McDonald's and BK hits it but you feel horrible afterwards. You want to bite into a burger that doesn't feel processed? Feels juicy fresh and gives you the satisfaction that finally, yes. I have had a good burger. Then this is the place. Our own Gem. I'm only annoyed it's taken me so long to discover it. Go there now. Or be lazy and get it delivered like I did. I won't be going anywhere else for a burger. Worth every penny!

Ordinarily I have the food delivered. However today I was able to sit and enjoy my meal on premises. Very clean superb pleasant staff. Delicious food. Highly recommended.

First time been and overall experience was excellent tasty fresh food cooked to perfection and didn't have to wait long for it to be cooked and presented to myself. Friendly and approachable staff who go above and beyond for the customers.

As a fast food experience, this was brilliant and the woman who served us at around 3pm was all alone but did a fantastic job. Extremely kind, loads of smiles and beyond friendly. The food was great. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because seeing her work alone was difficult. She definitely deserves a raise though.

At last! A burger restaurant in Halifax that prides itself on the quality of ingredients instead of its size of burger. No ridiculous towering burgers full of rubbish here, instead perfectly cooked smashed burgers with toppings that compliment the meat so the beef takes centre stage. Accompanied by great skin on fries I also opted to have a salted caramel shake, wonderful. There is no doubt their concept is very similar to Five Guys, albeit five guys would never open in a small town like Halifax. Can’t wait to go back!!! Love it!

I didn’t take any pictures but trust me, this is the place for burgers. Me & the wife tried them this evening and we were blown away. Incredible taste, fully customisable to how you want it, and great customer service. Can’t speak for the milkshakes but we’ll explore those next time.

This place has been amazing since it opened. It’s always great tasting food and awesome staff who are always happy to help. The fries are always a very substantial portion and the burgers are moist juicy and full of flavour. The toppings are also just amazing. We were lucky enough to get our burgers free as they are offering the first 50 burgers ordered free! Would highly recommend Urban to anyone who enjoys a really great tasting burger

As Jules in Pulp Fiction would say... "Mm-hmm! This is a tasty burger"! This was my first visit to Urban & it won't be my last. I had a beautiful succulent build your own chicken burger, 'regular' rustic fries and a Coke. It was delicious 😋 Obviously a bit more expensive than a McDs but there's no comparison, the Urban burger wins hands down. ⭐💯 The restaurant was very clean, the staff lovely - smiling and chatty. What a pleasant change from other burger outlets.

Amazing burgers - especially like the build-your-own-burger style of ordering (choosing your own toppings at no extra cost). We both got the bacon cheese burgers - lovely and juicy (without it being dripping with grease), well seasoned, cooked to perfection (nothing worse than a chewy burger). We shared the paprika fries which were delish, but the cheese sauce fell a bit flat as it was too thick and a bit grainy. Mozzarella sticks are great, they come with a marinara dip that’s savoury-sweet, and the onion rings are good. Staff were lovely and welcoming, and we were in and our in 10 minutes on a slow late-lunch. Unfortunately didn’t get a photo of the food (we were starving and basically inhaled it), so here’s the receipt! A bit more than a Maccas would cost but definitely worth the money!
