Uptown in Reading

Ordered a pie with sides and it was absolutely delicious! The service was also great, the worker explained all of my options to me and helped me choose. Overall, a great experience and this will not be my last time here :)

Went in their to order meal for one all menus say 12.50 when about to pay tried charging me 14.99 when questioned it states oh yea prices gone up well fella trading standards will love to hear what your doing won’t use this place again such a shame as heard great things

I ordered late on a Monday night (1am) but the food (Margarita Pizza) arrived on time, piping hot from a friendly driver and even came with an extra dip. The pizza was gorgeous, lots of cheese, not greasy or dry but the perfect amount. Left a review on JustEat but thought it deserved a Google Review also. Keep up the good work!

Well, I’ve been a customer at uptown before the rebranding, and believe me when I tell you that nearly everything is better now, from the quality of the food, the portions, the customer service, the pricing and much more, you really can’t go wrong with eating here. Since the first time I tried the food here after the rebranding I literally can’t stay away. Try uptown, you will not be disappointed!!!

My brother brought home a pizza this time and this pizza was very tasty and tested very well and it was a full loader pizza which was a lot of fun to eat and my And my brother told me that their service was very good and very clean, so I will tell everyone to try it, it's very good.

Late night food you can always expect sub par, however I am happily surprised. Number 1 it was hot and I live the other side of Reading. Tasty and good value. Delivery was super friendly will be the new go to spot

Since the new owners have taken over the pizza has improved greatly, they seem to be more generous with the toppings and the guys have great customer service - I would definitely recommend.

One of the best pizzas in Reading for a Friday night treat! The sauce was full of flavour and the cheese was of good quality. We ordered thin crust and it was perfect. The spice level was apt for the pizzas we choose, hope they don't change it. Highly recommended, give them a try.

Order two diffrent pizzas got exatcly same just one with diffrent sauces . When phone them try to explain but seem person on phone was not listing to me . So just said goodbye . Sad to put £15 to bin . Order 2 times before was perfect. 3 time got very disapointed .

Great little place thats open late! Ordered the 18" deal with garlic bread and a bottle of drink and a Rio can. Standard. Drinks were ice cold, pizza was hot, pepperoni is flavourful, sauce isnt super sweet like a lot of places, cheese is browned off nicely and the dough is fantastic! Sadly only 4 stars as my doorbell AND knocker was used at 1am when I left instruction for a call instead since family were sleeping. But these things happen sometimes. The driver was friendly regardless. Definitely recommend. Will be ordering again in the future :) EDIT: I have to change my rating due to inconsistency. Ordered the same pizza later in the week and it didn't taste remotely the same!

First time trying their pizza as I just moved into the area and it’s really good. Would recommend this place. It was 10 minutes before closing and the worker there was really kind and friendly.

Review of 'Uptown': Very decent pizza, not too greasy, and good taste. Delivered at night as well! Owner (and driver!) was very friendly. Unfortunately replaced garlic bread with potato wedges, I missed a call which was probably about that, but everything else was good. Would try again.

Great pizza, ordered through Just Eat, very tasty Hot and Spicy pizza had a good amount of spice heat! Chicken BBQ Sizzler pizza with extra red peppers was so good with a really good blend of flavours and the red pepper complimented them perfectly! Also had a portion Onion Rings and Stuffed jalapeños. Delivered by the restaurant so came much earlier than estimated. Will be ordering again soon for sure!

This is my daily go to pizza shop and I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The quality, quantity and pricing is more than outstanding, and the freshness of the products are really expressed as you take each bite. The owner who works here is really generous, funny to talk to, and has a passion for his shop as well as his cooking. I really do recommend that you try it out if you haven’t already!!!💕

Very poor customer service. Staff member was very rude to me on the phone after they messed up our order and sent a spicy pizza instead. You don't want to hear things like "you shouldn't have touched it", "pick the jalapenos out" or "oh, I see you got a discount too". Never ordering from here again.

They are very good ! Very cheap for a 15 inch . They obviously train people well ! I would probably say it's better than some of the expensive places because you can tell that he is very trained !!! All in all very very good

I'm not sure why all the downvotes? Quick and freshly prepared when I'm collecting and no problems when I'm ordering for delivery on lazy night. It's cheese on toast ultimately and we all could/can make it easily, but these guys give me a night off from the kitchen. Edit: pizzas are now much smaller than the size advertised. 20% smaller (surface area) going by my last order. Emphasis on last order.

I was just passing by, but suddenly got a taste for a pizza, so I have decided to give it a try in this establishment, I have to say that guy who runs this is very kind and nice person, he cares about his customers and it is nice to talk with him, when it comes to pizza, it was really very well done, beyond my expectations, I really recommend this Just Pizza, give it a try you wont be dissapointed, it looks not like some 5 star restaurant, but person who runs it runs it with heart ♥,

The staff was extremely rude to my flatmates over the phone, then when the delivery driver arrived (an hour and thirty minutes later) he commanded us to hurry bc he’d been waiting, as if we should’ve known he was there before he called us. When we met him to get the pizza he kept calling me “baby” because of a shirt I was wearing that said baby on it and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Then he had the audacity to tell me to “smile” in which case I pointed out how blatantly rude and sexist that was. He then repeated telling me to smile. We left and when we got back we found out he’d called the flat to tell them how rude to him I was for “no reason,” as if I was supposed to apologize to him or something. The whole situation was horrific and disgusting.

How this place has such good reviews, I'll never know. Cannot fault service in regards to the driver apologising for being a couple of minutes late, very pleasant man. But the pizza tasted very odd. The base seemed stale and the pizza as a whole was not very fresh at all. Maybe an off day, but I won't be ordering from here again. Maybe a supermarket frozen pizza would have been a better idea, wouldn't have wasted as much money. Shame I couldn't have reviewed on the Just Eat app as it wasn't ordered by me personally, but theres pretty blatant fake reviews from repeat names on different dates. Wonder why.

This place is now under new management so I thought ud give it a go as previous was good. Personally didn't think it could get better.. But it has. Plenty of topping, more cheese and less tomato sauce base. Cooked to perfection, highly recommend!

The staff are nice and polite. Pizza so tasty. The only thing we ordered in rush hour and they were so busy and it took 2 hours from order to deliver.but to be honest worthy becuase the pizza was so good.

The pizza I ordered from here had the taste and consistency of cold, wet cardboard. I'd rather eat out of a bin than order from just pizza again.

They don't even deserve any stars of rating. Manager of the restaurant was unacceptable .He called fellow deliveroo rider to " F..ck off " while he wanted to know how long his food order should take .This is completely unacceptable and manager shows jas heart .

Very good customer service with great quality

They charge 50p to use a card on a £22 order. This violates trading standards laws and I have reported them. They most likely do this to force you to use cash and pay less tax. Go to one of the many other nearby, just as good and just as cheap pizza places. When I politely questioned this, the manager got extremely defensive and rude. Extremely short-sighted way to run as a business as I have previously gone out my way to buy from here but will never go back.

Horrible place. They sell Iceland pizza (or something as cheap and low quality) for the hand-made pizza price. But that's not the biggest of their problem. I ordered two pizzas from them, and they got the order wrong. I received the pepperoni pizza instead of the Hawaiian one - that was not the easiest thing to see, because for some peculiar reason they put toppings UNDER the cheese - probably in order to hide that they are not exactly fresh. I called about the problem, and what I've got in response was a bucketful of attitude. I was hinted that I don't understand what pizza is (really?), then - that my English is not good enough (seriously?), then finally I heard "yeah, sorry" in a very annoyed voice. But that was about it. Yeah, we are sorry and we can think about may be giving a discount for the next order, now sod off, annoying woman, what else do you want from us? Well, dear Just Pizza, as I told you - there won't be next order. I will not spend a penny on your products. And I strongly recommend everyone to buy their pizzas elsewhere. In other places you will get your value for money and polite service, while in Just Pizza by the looks of it it's only some uneatable "pseudo-pizza" and lots of attitude.
