Go to any railway station or similar property with an Upper Crust outlet and you will find the same products, service and standards prevail. Some would say that is what makes people use these types of outlets but unfortunately, I feel it adds to the loss of choice. No one is worse than the service areas in the UK who are all pretty much the same with a few exceptions but unfortunately Skelton (with the exception of one outlet) isn't one of them.

This pub has not long ago been taken over from the landlord and lady from the swan in trading.We were meeting family and friends from Newcastle and were very impressed to say the least.Seven adults and one child descended tea time Friday and it was quite busy but we were served promptly.I loved the relaxed atmosphere and spacious surroundings very clean and tables cleared quickly.Our meals were presented nicely and tasted very nice and reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next visit.
