Very nice chocolate chip cookies and staff!

Quería comprar 3 baguettes pero claramente llegué demasiado temprano a las 8 : 45 AM un sábado. No estaban listos, y cuando pregunté cuándo podría volver, el cajero no pudo decirlo. Volví 15 minutos después pero todavía no había baguettes, así que pregunté si estaban lejos de estar listas. Una vez más, me encogí de hombros, y le pregunté si podía consultar con el colega que estaba haciendo las baguettes en la parte trasera. No lo haría. Pregunté entonces si podían hacer 3 baguettes ya que no había nadie más en la tienda (algo que el colega hizo rápida y felizmente el día anterior) , pero eso tampoco fue posible. Supongo que así es como manejas un negocio cuando no hay competidores cerca. Los clientes que quieren comprar con usted son obviamente solo una molestia.

Just nearby the train station, you can easily go and grab some snacks and drinks

Food was nice, prices high but understand rent would not be cheap for the location.

Al menos etiqueta tu comida correctamente tenía una baguette de jamón y queso que había ahumado jamón, ¡sabía vil! No es necesario usar jamón ahumado

Stopped for a quick coffee, when ordering Kim was efficient whilst being so friendly, she made my morning! Much quicker service than other coffee providers at Lime Street.

No hot chocolate, only tea or coffee. Chose coffee, that was cold and tasted like the milk was sour. Floor and tables dirty. Avoid

10.30 on a Sunday non of the special drinks were available opted for a chai still not available settled on a basic latte with hazelnut (which was nice drink to be fair). It is cold but at least you don't have the elements on you. Seemed to be only one worker who was busy serving which ment the tables couldn't be kept on top of ( but I always think it wouldn't harm customers to take their rubbish to the bin either) But then there was only a tiny bin area which was overflowing anyway right next to your sugars/stirrers. If I was n area again I'd still pop in if it's not busy

Pretty dire - salmon baguette which was to be honest quite vile! And tasteless coffee tasted like instant - not exactly service with a smile either We also had a pigeon wandering around and landing on tables - it seemed very tame so obviously NOT an unusual activity So obviously a lovely clean hygienic cafe!! After the pigeon landed on our food we left it as weirdly we had lost our appetite

No sign of any litter bins. Tuna baguettes are delicious. No de caff tea so take your own tea bags.

The only coffee available was a small flat white. The place was very cold. No heating on and door wedged open. There are heating ducts by the doors and a wall heater by staff door. None were working.

Stingiest streaky bacon baguette I have ever seen for £4.50 - barely 1 full piece of streaky bacon. I know station eateries are inflated but aside from the friendly service the food and drink is poor quality and do not recommend.

Pedí un croissant de almendras y una botella de agua. . se apresuraba a tomar el tren así que no fui a comerlo hasta que el tren partió. ¡Tengo que decir que el croissant nunca había sido introducido en una almendra! Por el precio (alrededor de £ 5. 50 ) tanto para esto como para una pequeña botella de agua me quedé sintiéndome totalmente estafado. .

Nice place to grab a coffee and keep warm while you're waiting for a train. The coffee is decent too.

My husband and I dragged our tired selves across the threshold and Heather and Kev were kind, considerate, and personable without being too pushy. Friendly banter and good vibes. 10/10

Rude rude rude! Door was open so popped head in with a smiley expression as wanted a tea before journey. My greeting was a grumpy woman shouting from behind the counter “not yet not yet!” The effort involved in shouting this with an angry expression on her face was far more than a friendly “sorry love we aren’t open yet”. Customer service at its best! NOT! I’m a local and it made me embarrassed that people from out of area would see this as Liverpool hospitality!

Bought a cheese & tomato baguette, baguette was rock hard, cheese sparse & dried up & a ton of mayo slapped on it, will not be using again!!!

Arriba, fuera y alrededor en una hermosa mañana soleada, mi hermano gemelo y yo pasamos por Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station donde decidimos pasar por Upper Crust, hemos estado aquí antes, siempre lo pasamos bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita. Una bonita salida, luminosa y espaciosa, mostradores de servicio con frente de vidrio muestran las golosinas que se ofrecen, una hermosa decoración y muebles y opciones de asientos. Pedimos un café cada uno, estos se sirven humeantes calientes, nos relajamos y planeamos el día anterior mientras bebíamos nuestro café. Desde el primer sorbo hasta la última cena se puede decir que utilizan ingredientes de calidad en su café y se enorgullecen mucho del café que sirven en este concurrido y popular café. Ambos disfrutamos mucho de nuestro café aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cada otra visita a Upper Crust nos lo pasamos muy bien, es fácil de localizar a lo largo de Lime Street en Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station. Vale la pena comprobar si estás en la zona.

Literally just ordered this and had a train to catch so I didn’t have time to see the sandwich but what is up with the lettuce ? Doesn’t look appetising and it’s dry not enough mayo in it

I see Kim regularly in the morning on my commute. She and all the other staff are absolutely lovely. The coffee is just as good as the other (more expensive) chains in the station too!

Suciedad que visité ayer para tomar un bocadillo para mi viaje. Me sorprendió ver moscas aterrizando en las baguettes, le señalé esto al servidor ella acaba de decir que no puedo hacer nada al respecto, las moscas salen gratis. Sentirme mal me puse los talones y gasté mi dinero en M&S también disponible en el vestíbulo principal. Qué vergüenza.

No hello welcome upon approach after 3 hour train journey, service from young lady very poor, bought a baguette with poor amount of filling 😢 asked for a regular size latte and a regular size coffee to which I got an answer of " we don't do that size " ( it is on the board behind small / medium / Large ) !! Upon sitting down I may add I found it amusing that a simple ham baguette couldn't be supplied to a customer who was told " we don't do them " again no sorry 😐 Come on I'm new to Liverpool but found this amusing, I won't use you again and click now why every other coffee shop in the station was packed out with customers !! ( I can't say anything about your salted caramel hot chocolate didn't have it ) !!!!

Visitado a las 7:30 am un sábado por la mañana. La comida era buena, lo que normalmente se espera de Uppercrust. Todas las mesas en las que me senté eran sucias. 5 mesas después, le pregunté a una de las 3 señoritas detrás del mostrador si limpiaría la mesa. Solo había 2 pl sentados a tomar café.

I picked up a Too Good 2 Go bag here and I can't believe people pay the prices for what you get. Hardly any filling in the baguette, the last 3 cm was just plain bread, and the cookie tasted burnt. I felt ripped off paying £3 for the food, the retail price would have been £10.20! Both items were taken from the retail display so not some sort of leftovers. I know some people value conspicuous consumption and must be seen eating their sandwich out of the right paper bag but there comes a point when 'the prices aren't frightening, they're reassuring' just doesn't cut it.

Staff didn't have a clue what they was doing.

Been here twice this week between 7. and 7.30 am. Disappointed nocheese and tomato baguettes available just bacon and or sausage.Staff on both occasions not very pleasant

Stopped off here whilst waiting for my boyfriend’s train. The food was alright, I suspect it was out for a little while, the staff didn’t seem particularly happy, it wasn’t also the cleanest place. But worthwhile stopping at if you need something on the go.

Not nice... The cafe worker looked like she was sleepy or just very slow, the tables were dirty and the hot chocolate was tasteless.

Service is excellent. The woman never stops and it always seems busy, but she is always happy to serve you with a smile.

Dropped into this Upper Crust outlet in Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station, been here before, always had a positive experience and so it proved on our latest visit. A good looking outlet, interior is light and airy, colourful decor and furnishings, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options, it's a great place to unwind in. I ordered a flat white coffee, served steaming hot, I chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping my coffee which I must say was surprisingly good ,not the greatest coffee I've ever tasted but certainly not the worst. I moved on after my coffee and as on every other visit to here had a good time. This particular Upper Crust is easy to locate in the concourse of Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 8am till 6pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Enjoyable freshly made food. Expensive for what it is, but they have a 50% deal that you can use multiple times which makes it so worth it! Rachel is lovely.

This place has very low maintenance; I was freezing inside the store rather than in the train station. There is no heater in the store. I told one of the staff members to close the door because it was freezing, but she refused to do so. The products are expensive, but they couldn't afford a heater for this weather.

wouldn't recommend this for a Hot chocolate

It's more what didn't happen! We ordered baguettes, which we wanted toasting. The first one's were burnt, so we had to wait for more to be toasted. Our friends had the same issue. Then there were no serviettes. Overflowing bin thing by the sugar and stirrers. I went to take the lid off my americano coffee to add sugar. The coffee had obviously been filled to the rim, which meant it spilled all over my hand, the table and down me. I rushed to the counter to get some first aid. The staff didn't have a clue what to do, and looked completely panicked. I asked if there was a sink with running cold water to be told no. Which I knew couldn't be true because of health and hygiene requirements (*)(*)‍♀️ Then I asked if they had anything for burns in their first aid box. Only to be told no. I was completely shocked because again is required in all first aid boxes, especially when they have ovens, toasting ovens and hot drinks! I ended up using my own small bottle of water to pour over my hand, which wasn't really cold enough to do much. When I complained about how appalling the situation was, I was told they are short staffed. Not a good enough excuse in my book! Eventually, around 10 minutes after scolding myself, a young man appeared from Starbucks across the station concourse, and took me straight to the back so I could run my hand under the cold tap. The cold tap the Upper Crust staff told me I couldn't use. There wasn't any blue roll so I couldn't dry my hand. Which made me wonder what the staff had dried their hands on (*)(*)‍♀️ He was so apologetic about what had happened and said he better take my details. While all this was going on a second lot of baguettes were burned, causing an even bigger delay. (*)(*)‍♀️ I felt the staff lacked basic training and manners. I work with kids and even I have to take first aid and food hygiene regularly. At least one member of staff should be first aid trained. I'm glad it wasn't a child that was scolded, they would probably have been permanently scarred, mentally and physically, and a nightmare for the parents. I really am appalled by the whole thing! I didn't even get offered a refund

About three sandwiches left, at half twelve 🤷🏼‍♂️ Place was dirty, they had no napkins and the staff were awful. Customer service was non existent!

Can’t fault the staff very friendly and attentive. No awareness of any nutritional values or advice if any allergens? So many unclean tables and rubbish lying around. Counter could with a revamp as infection risk with wood and flooring behind counter needs sweeping often. Not nice seeing the debris in the floor. Can appreciate the fast service and takeout but while diner is lacking atmosphere and ambience. Windows are height cleaned obviously not good upper rust if you want to increase trade.
