Sports Cafe in Liverpool

Great atmosphere, lovely choice of beers and pool, table tennis, fusball all free all day, great venue and a big screen in the evening..

It was an interesting time there. the staff where friendly and helpful to me. the facilities there where amazing and the drinks where to my liking

reservado para 2 adultos y 5 niños, pero cuando llegamos, no tenían constancia de nuestra reserva. Afortunadamente yo tenía email de confirmación y que no estaba lleno, así que conseguimos una mesa. La comida estaba bien, pero no brillante, y vinieron poner en diferentes ocasiones con intervalos de 5 minutos más. El lugar y la decoración es agradable, pero no volveremos de nuevo.

Mientras se aloje en Liverpool que decidimos venir y probar el bar de deportes. El bar es moderno con una decoración preciosa. El servicio era genial, la comida era increíble y el precio era aún mejor! no nos podemos quejar de nada. gran menú con mucho que elegir y excelentes bebidas menú también, sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a Liverpool.

Whilst out and about in Liverpool City Centre myself and my husband decided to call in here for a bite to eat as we have eaten here many times before and really like the food, however the waitress was VERY rude and VERY unprofessional as when she asked were we would like to be seated we asked for a booth if possible to whuch she respnded with "I suppose so since we are quiet".

Después de alojarnos en Liverpool, decidimos visitar la cafetería para comer un bocado en la noche. El restaurante no es muy bien señalizado desde el exterior, pero una vez llegamos dentro sabíamos que estábamos en el lugar adecuado con todas las Liverpool objetos por todas partes. Está decorado con buen gusto y hay un montón de pantallas de televisión diseminados alrededor. Como los cócteles eran 2 por 1 decidimos ir por una Anfield Road cada uno, lo cual era muy agradable. Tuvimos algunos sabrosos cursi pan de ajo para comenzar y para las principales tuve fajitas de pollo, que eran tan bueno, mi compañero y yo carbonara y dijo que era uno de los mejores que ha tenido. La camarera era muy cortés, pero no muy atento teniendo en cuenta sólo había otras 2 parejas. Volveríamos de nuevo.

The pizza in this restaurant was fantastic, with a real authentic taste of Italy. The waiter was very nice although he had too many guests to attend to, and looked quite stressed.

brilliant bar - just like its owner. Prices are a bit expensive but the food is lovely try the chicken burger - delicious!! If you get a chance go here to watch a match as plenty of screens

Visitamos aquí después de ser incapaz de decidir dónde ir por algo de comer. Ojalá hubiera elegido para ir a algún otro sitio.El personal era encantador, amable y eficiente, pero la comida era claramente de la media.Tenía un burger, afirma que el menú es de una granja local. Cuando llegó su aspecto y sabor como algo que habían comprado en un supermercado. Las patatas fritas donde como fichas de comedores escolares.La lasaña era mejor que la hamburguesa pero la carne:ratio de tomate y salsa era muy lejos con el plato en salsa.Se trata de un agradable bar, pero creo que el menú podría hacer con una reforma.

Nos metimos en aquí ya que estaba justo enfrente nuestro restaurante y no hay ninguna señalización fuera de la cafetería. decidimos ir, estaba lloviendo a cántaros y teníamos hambre y thristy.Al entrar nos dimos cuenta que parecía un Sportsbar pero servían comida y estábamos listos para darle una turbina. Las paredes interiores están completamente forradas con enormes televisores de pantalla mostrando deporte.Al leer la carta dice que es propiedad de Jamie Carragher, algún futbolista de Liverpool y citas de él sobre alimentación saludable.El menú tenía algunas opciones saludables pero nada estimulante, así que tanto pedimos nuestras bebidas, batido de frutas de que había pocos que que figuran sano en el menú, estaban bien.En cuanto a la comida que tuvimos pechuga de pollo con salsa barbacoa incorporada y queso derretido servido con patatas fritas. Es triste decir que era muy porquerías estándar y no es en absoluto saludable.Volveríamos? Mi marido para bebidas y para ver deportes, pero no vivo para mí a menos que revisó el menú.

Sports Cafe, the name says it all. Its a nice sports cafe place, with ok food and one extra star for the owner. This place could end up on a Liverpool city tour as a stop for the Liverpool supporter.

I arrived around 8:30pm and there was only one waitress but she was very efficient with the 4 tables. Very relaxing place with comfortable chairs and live sports news on TVs. Service was good, I got hot water I need for my medicine.I had the Liverpool street scouse which was very nice. I tried my best and it's still too much for my dinner. Not a cheap place to eat but the price is still reasonable. The main course is around £7. I may come back again for lunch.

We tried last year to try the food and again we tried last weekend. Both times the absolutely terrible service from disinterested, ignorant staff meant we left without ordering. The first time last year we at least waited over half an hour before our requests for a drinks menu was answered.This time we were ignored for a good ten minutes before we decided to leave.We won't be trying a third time, no matter how much we love LFC.

had pizza nd a glass of wine for £5 brillant value and very good food and the drink was not bad either nice freindly staff and nice surroundings.

The restaurant was excellent. The service was first class, even though it was a match day and the place was full to the rafters. Food was served in quick time and was freshly cooked. The menu choice was somewhat limited to pizza BBQ foods and pasta. But all was served with a smile and efficiency. The atmosphere was electric (if your a big football fan). And the price even though a little pricey was about right for the type of venue it is.

Yes I am biased because as Liverpool fans we particularly love the owner Jamie Carragher but we had dinner here last night after a trip to Anfield and I promised I would give a true account wheter it was good or bad! It was very busy with match goers but they ensured everyone got a table quickly. The menu is quite extensive with healthy eating options as well as the old favourites like bangers and mash and fish and chips. I had a bowl of penne pasta with grilled chicken, peppers and brocoli it was tasty but the brocoli was very overcooked and my husband (being a proud scouser!) had a bowl of scouse, this is a warm stew with beef and vegetable served with bread and beetroot. I wish I had ordered the same as his was definitely nicer! We found the staff friendly and efficient and the bill which included 2 large glasses of wine and 2 pints of lager came to £35. We enjoyed our trip to Cafe Sports and would recommend it to people who love sport as there are a huge amount of TVs and the food is good quality and it is not too expensive.

We went for Sunday lunch, the restuarant was virtually empty. Lovely building, trendy and decor was excellent. Unfortunately the young staff were totally inept. After waiting an age to get a drink the female staff seemed more interested in chatting by the till about what happened the night before. Eventually they took our order and after another long wait the food turned up cold. It was sent back for reheating and then returned only to find that they had missed one meal off completely. The waitress said it was a computer error but, eventhough she had wriiten it down, had to ask what our friend had ordered. This meal eventually came after we all had finished eating so our friend had to eat alone. Heavens forbid what it is like when it's busy!! A truly underwhelming experience and very disappointing. We were given a 20% discount but the damage had already been done, we won't be returning.

Wide variety of food- ideal venue to watch any sport.

A varied menu with lower costs offerings such as pasta dishes to the more expensive fillet steak and sea bass. The starters were varied and very good value as were the desserts.

Food Terrible. Rude Staff. No draught beer again. This place was totally empty when we went in...say no more.
