The cost for 10 samosa and spring rolls should be £9 in total according to the price list on the Uppals website. I was charged £11. Food was tasty but Uppals please update your price list, to help avoid disappointed customers.

Always fabulous food from here love the Vegetsble samosas and panneer rolls snd recently been having the spicy noodles but have tried many things from here all excellent quality will be going again very soon

We use Uppals when we fancy some veg samosas and Paneer rolls. Both are beautiful and always cooked fresh so come hot. I order about 20 of each when we have visitors or a party as they always go down a treat and so cheap too. I do agree on other reviews that the customer service needs touching up, but I don’t let it stop me when the food is worth it.

We have used this service on recommendation a few times, and also seeing Indian clientele using it is usually a sure-fire way of establishing it will stock good Indian food. Through the last few times we have been, we've mainly had Lamb Samosa, Vegetable Samosa, Fish Pakora, the Sweet selections, Masala Tea and some other bits and bobs. I've never questioned the temperature of cooked items personally as we always prefer to heat them again at home anyway, and you can ask for hot samosas if you want them as oppose to having what is on the counter. Fish Pakora are banging. Really thick delicious fish. No issues whatsoever. Lamb Samosa are our favourite, even better a day or 2 after you collect them when the flavours have mingled. Service, or more to the point the demeanour of staff sometimes are it's only down point. The middle aged man everybody mentions has served me a few times. You always get what you ask for at least with him. I personally have found that if you try and engage in conversation and make a wise crack about yourself to try and make him laugh, he responds. Sometimes you simply have to give a little something to get it back. Other staff members are I guess average in their happiness.

why have a shop if you hate customers going into it. Male middle aged is so miserable damn rude. they do not let you decide on what you want they rush you in and out. food is nice expensive but worth it somasos are disgusting. they need to learn how to smile be polite and patient.

On Rakhi day went to Uppals waited over 1.5 hours outside due to the COVID restrictions. Ordered food and spent over £60 .When arrived at home starving the food was appalling samosa where greasy , chicken tikka spelt off same as the fish and the pakora where rock hard , I think next time I will give this establishment and wide birth

I have purchased meat, veg curry and sweet meats from Uppals many times, recently I visited after lockdown to purchase the same but the oils in the sweet meats tasted odd the only discription that immediately came to mind was chemical like gasoline. I threw the box in the bin. The currys were not the same. I also end up with a cough every time I eat your food! Which oils do you use in your foods.

With the introduction of a simple queuing system I am delighted that the speed and efficiency of service have improved significantly since my last review.

After years of going to Laskys, I tried uppals, we love their food. Sunday my friend and i went to buy food for our staff, a male around 30 black hair and a slight beard Served me, and a young lady served my friend, my friend is asian. The male was putting my food into a carrier, he said something in his Language to his Colleague, she turned round and looked at me. He was laughing. My friend heard him and was very angry..... when he turned to me, he could see by the look on my face. HE DID WRONG. Outside I asked my friend what did he say, she wouldn’t tell me, just he was very disrespectful To you. She said please don’t judge us like him, it’s not our culture to be like him.

Let me start by saying the people who are slating this place must have some personal vendetta as this place is amazing, the “slow service” and “queue out the door” are not signs of a poor establishment rather quite the opposite. Why is the queue out the door? Because this place is famous for miles and people travel just for samosas. Among the other products. Never in my life have I had anything from here with any sort of fat/ grissle. I literally can not compliment this place enough. I have a party coming up soon and I will be enquiring about catering for said party. Is that not proof this is not a bad place?

A wonderful shop full of india n sweets samosas.. Curry and other dishes. All I can say it is wondetful, food lovely and have kept going back. Highly recommended and once visited you will always go back

I’ve been coming here for years, from old shop to this one, they make the best somosas and I’m always keen on some of the sweet dishes too, come Diwali they are always too busy so I get everything a day before u can even ask for the Somosa not fried so you can put in the freezer, the customer service is fast hence why the concentration is serve n next sure to be positive the food is good quality, so that’s why I’ve given it a 5 star

Whilst there is no doubting the quality of the food here, the big disappointment is in the consistent, painfully slow, inattentive counter service when customers are queuing out of the door.

Called in a few weeks ago having previously tried the chicken tikka samosas for the first time. Needless to say we went back for more. It's an addition to the usual veg and meat varieties. All very tasty, well filled and very reasonably priced.The bonus is that they also freeze well. Don't forget to ask for the chutney which comes with it if you ask.

Samosa was ok when fresh and hot, wouldn't go running back to eat thier samosas.Pakora was so disappointing.....did not expect this quality from such a reputed place. The food didn't look very appetising in the shelves hence didn't try.Long queue....15 customers ahead of me....sweets looked good.

Love this place. They have very competitive prices and offer her authentic Punjabi food. I come here on a regular basis to get food for parties and have always been impressed, the food is always spot on.

Our first visit and the signs were good-a massive queue. Excellent meat and chicken samosa, great roti, huge portion of chicken curry. All really tasty. Topped off with delicious gulab jamon. Will definitely be going back for more 5 star food

The main thing about Uppals is just the mindboggling consistency of food quality and service. My family and I have been going there for years and the overall experience just never disappoints: value, quality and service is outstanding. The only reason this place doesn't have a five star rating is that most of the patrons are desi types who don't know what Trip Adviser is, otherwise it would be a full five out of five all the way. Keep up the good work!

Been here many times, very popular for sweets and snacks. Service is efficient and the food is always fresh. Probably the best samosas in Wolverhampton, great pakora and spring rools

Recommended to us and not disappointed. Wonderful fresh meat and veg samosas, superb pakora, very tasty chicken curry and melt in the mouth lamb curry with excellent rice. All fantastic value for money and wonderful helpful service. Can't wait to go back!

Well priced, tasty food that's convenient. Menu is ever extending. Never had a bad meal from there. Stock up the freezer everytime we go.

I often visit Uppals for takeaway curries and have never been disappointed, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who likes Asian cuisine.

Soy un cliente que vuelve, ya que la comida es buena, sin embargo cada vez (y esta será mi última por un tiempo) hay un continuo problema con el mal servicio del personal que de Inglés no es su primer idioma, antes estoy descartado como 'racista' Por favor, pregúntese por qué soy un cliente que vuelve a y asiáticos en el establecimiento? Exactamente. Nunca ha habido tanta como una sonrisa simple o un por favor o gracias. Hoy he pedido un chutney con el resto de mi pedido, como siempre lo hago, el miembro del personal que me atendió me echaban una cantidad muy pequeña en una bañera en frente de mí, a pesar de ser 50+ bañeras amontonadas por lista. No hay excusa para esto, es un insulto simple!

Los vegetales samosas aquí han ido en precio 25% (de 20 a 25 p p). Son tan deliciosos, con la cantidad justa de especias y comino, y las patatas son Waxy y no floury y seco. No sé por qué alguien podría hacer suya. Los curries, pollo Tikka y pescado, son absolutamente encantador. Quizás un poco pequeña para algunos. No dejes que las críticas negativas te desanime. Las críticas negativas son apenas prolífica, así que saca tus propias conclusiones de eso.

I went last week to get some somosa for my work also purchased chicken wings which were very dry overcooked also bought lamb curry I saw that it was mostly gravy and hardly any meat in the container was not impressed

I do catering and I have no problem getting my food from here I just turn up and he gets it all freshly made lovely,tasty food give it a try

I had a take away and when i went in they were very nice and I did not have to wait. When I got home and had my curry with my family we all said it was lovely and I have been there a few times now and I have never been let down

Omg how they allowed to serve food ordered a lamb curry may as well have bought hubba chewing gum as the meat was as chewy as that so expensive and the staff are so rude AVOID SPENDING HERE at all costs

Really good Indian food to take away, both pure vegetarian and meat. Chicken Tikka is out of this world, as is the Onion Pakora.Super value, and really nice people serving.This place is on my way home, and every night it is so tempting to nip in and grab a couple of Indian snacks
