Meal arrived soggy and coated in the popodom mint. Chips falling out of the paper lying cold in the bottom of the carrier bag everything dripping and coated. Ruined nam bread, it even got into the rice. The driver must have shook it like a maraca. This is from a restaurant I have used for nearly 20 years. Prices have gone up 50% over the last few months, and this is the best they can do. Only offered a discount on my next meal, not the replacement of the soggy slop that cost us over £30. Very poor customer service. I will never use this takeaway again

I ordered 3 tarka dhal and unfortunately I only received one, impossible to contact by phone, the food was not to my liking.

I'm going to be completely honest here and I don't want to offend anybody at the restaurant. First and most important thing...... the food is delicious. We have been to the dilshad only a few times but cannot recommend the food highly enough. We always dine in, its a bit rough and ready but would you rather be in a Michelin star restaurant with poor food ? No, neither would myself and my wife. The young lady serving was very well mannered and polite. A credit to the place. 1 moan though.... get the girl a couple of tshirts promoting the place ! See you next time. X

The food is fantastic we had a delivery the food was still nice and hot and the delivery driver was very polite, happy

Long wait for food when it turned up I honestly thought someone had already been eating It! It was like half a portion! Called up and told nothing they can do. Food was terrible. Take your money elsewhere

Had been ordering here for well over a year for takeaway night at work. food was spot on, service and delivery brilliant. Then it all changed. With an average spend of £55+ from just our team (others on site use them as well) we had to ask for extras like chutneys etc. Then to be told the driver has been TWICE and left 20 minutes ago, food had been ordered just over two hours ago. No resolution or offer to fix it. Lad on the phone didn't have a clue either. Will never order from here again

I've used dilshad a number of times. Food is always nice friendly staff always smiling. I would recommend dilshad to anyone 10/10

New owners seem to offer a lovely menu and great service from Stephanie who was friendly, informative and very polite. She was really helpful and looked after us. Food was good too and freshly made. Would use again. Thank you.

I would give zero stars if I could, I ordered on the website after 40 mins and no confirmation I called for them to say they would not be delivering my order even thou they have took payment witch I told them payment has been taken I was told that a refund should be issued 20 days later still no refund to me it is theft

Nasty, just pure nasty. Food orderered was wrong and cold man,, that ain't acceptable. They ain't worth the good reviews, I know they create false accounts, even one of the drivers told me who I know. Serious anyone wants recommendations about nice curry house, this one ain't getting a mention. Yuk..

I used this restaurant for take away for years, spending up to £50 some weeks. Food was always of a high standard and speedy delivery. Occasionally, there was a mistake which was usually quickly rectified. However, on the last occasion we ordered two curries and two rice. On delivery, one rice was missing, I called to ask if it could be sent only to be told they would issue a replacement next week. This meant one of us had no meal and a walk to the chip shop to get something to go with the curry. Spoilt the meal completely. Pretty pee'd off.

Visited on a Friday night, only our group of four and another couple in their, however the takeaway orders were none stop, we had poppadoms, starters and mains, all excellent and full of flavour and bill was still under £45, this is my new favourite Indian restaurant. Highly recommended. Must try!!!

Ordered take away tonight and got to say its the worst meal we have ever ordered. Starters were obviously mass factory made. Mutton tikka was not worth £7.50 and was like shoe leather, veg balti was vile. Ordered peshwari naan and cheese and chilli naan, one wasn't even peshwari and the other was disgusting. Masala chips were soggy and tasteless, most of it went in the bin!!! Wouldn't order again total waste of money

First of all the Order was wrong when delivered so we had to go all the way to the shop to change (customer service skills was appalling shall I add as well)then finally got the right one, the red chicken tikka was really chewy and had black stuff inside the chicken wouldn’t order from there again or recommend it!!!!

Fabulous as usual tbe best asian food ive had since last time i ordered.went to michelin rated bilash last week £100 for 4 drinks 2 mains and sweet wasnt a patch on dilshsd .try it you wont be disapointed .

When reading this review you will find only 3 other reviews including Rachel who gave it 3 stars BUT it is not in Wolverhampton so she has the wrong restaurant. I have been using this restaurant for many years but not regularly both for sit down and takeaway. I only once complained of the take away number of prawns and the management ensured it did not happen again. They even sell portions of their excellent curry sauce to use with your own food which I have done. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for its courtesy, professionalism and its food.

food was amazing they took a bit of time but it was well worth the wait staff apologised and gave me complimentaries on the house.

Always been treated wonderfully as a walk in customer and take away for years and unlikely to change my regular Indian cuisine spot any time soon
