If you’re in Swansea and you want a breakfast, this is the place to go. Good prices, decent quality food (option to have your typical cafe type breakfast or some of the more ‘instagramable’ stuff. Can’t go wrong with a jumbo breakfast!

Really loved the place, had breakfast there, we ordered the halal beast and the amount of food was unbelievable. We were two hungry people and we couldn't finish it. definitely recommend

There was a time when this place was one of the best. Just had some questionable corn beef pie. Pastry looked under cook with a texture and look of plasticine. Some of the potato pieces were grey in colour, like it was made with potatoes that had been peeled and left for a few hours. Never seen such a bad corn beef pie.

Breakfast today was excellent,hot tasty, very reasonable and staff were brilliant, definitely go again.

Just ordered on just eat, hour late, we have no kitchen at the moment. Food was cold and soggy...... gone down hill massively.

Ordered two deluxe breakfasts, nothing at all deluxe about it. Absolutely disgusting! The ingredients are so cheap and nasty I wouldn't give it to my dogs. How they're aloud to serve this stuff is beyond shocking!

I rate this place as the best place to eat in Swansea!. Quality food, staff and spotlesslyclean.!. I can’t fault them or their prices either. I highly recommend you try this place. .

Love it there. They do Halal good, been going there for years, never been disappointed. Very reasonable prices for very good portions. Never seen a fake smile, all genuinely friendly, cant do enough to please customers. WELL recommended.

Do not order through any food delivery service. ordered our food at 10:45 to be delivered at 12:10. at 12:40 just eat sent a notification saying food had been delivered when it had not. I then phoned up at 12:55 to enquire about my delivery and was told it was on its way should be 10 minutes, half hour later and still waiting. food finally arrived at 13:35 with driver stating he had only started half hour ago, so who had my food when i phoned up? order was partially wrong with tomatoes swapped with beans toast soggy eggs were cold and the rest was just about warm enough. To Lance the owner before you reply blaming the delivery company as you have done on many other reviews here, If the delivery companies are that bad that you are having bad reviews why still use them? I ordered 1 hour 20 minutes before I wanted it delivered so how can it take nearly 3? obviously drivers fault ye

Cheap and cheerful, the place to go if you want a hearty meal without spending too much. Staff friendly and helpful. Can't complain about anything for the price they charge.

Ordered breakfast before 11am and it’s now gone lunch time and I have waited nearly 3hours just for nothing to arrive! After speaking to the restaurant they refused to give me a refund and told me to go through just eat! What a disgusting service would NOT recommend to anyone or you will certainly starve to death like myself! Now I have to waste more time to get my refund back as if 3 hours of my day was not enough!

Called here again with the family arrived was very busy did not have to wait long for a table Service and food was great some of us had Sunday Lunch the rest of us had breakfasts Served very quick and the food was very hot This place is starting to be our new Sunday Hang out

Never ever order via Uber. Tried 3 times now, each time has taken over twice the predicted time. The latest took 2 hours not the predicted 45mins.. Food was tasty but needed rehearing, chips were like rubber. 3rd time unlucky, won’t be a 4th. The owner will blame Uber…..yet they keep advertising their service! #fail

Called up to order a delivery ( paying cash ) and was told it was a 2 hour wait so I said I’ll go down and get it went down there to be told there closed one of the ladies asked the cook and he said no were closed I don’t understand why they didn’t say they were closed. Opening times are wrong they close at 4:00

Food was cold and soggy by the time it came, waited over and hour and a half for delivery. Had to phone twice to see if it was still coming, I then had to microwave both dinners when it arrived!! Will not order again!! Paid almost £30 for food I wouldn't feed the dog, one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had, disgusting.

Servings size was big for how much I paid for and the food was delicious (it's Halal as well). The staff was friendly and would come back here again if I'm in Swansea

Guys have been at it for years, and it shows. Super fast service, from parking the vehicle to finishing food, 45 minutes. Brilliant. Completely stuffed, couldn't move afterwards.

Second time we have visited must say first class all round five of us came on Sunday it was very busy and there were lots of looked like delivery’s going out but we were served fast to be fare two of us order breakfast one had Lasagne I had Steak pie and one had Beef Sunday lunch All the food came out the same time and hot will be back again Thank you Adam

Came here for food on Sunday early afternoon, when I arrived the diner seating was pretty full but regardless, we were seated very quickly by the friendly and attentive staff. We were expecting a little wait on food due to it being busy in the diner and their online orders, but we received our meals very quickly after ordering and the breakfast was perfect, just what we needed on our busy bank holiday weekend. 10 out of 10 from us. I ordered from here through Uber eats. The pancakes were fine, but when I opened up the tub of cauliflower cheese that I received, I was genuinely nearly sick from the smell of how rancid it was. Just before I opened it I noticed a small speck of green on the food which didn't raise my hopes, but I was hoping I was seeing things. Upon opening, both green and white mould was evident. It was clear to me that this food had not been checked before presumably being chucked into a microwave and then sent out, as it was absolutely clear it was gone off. The smell alone made me feel sick to my stomach for ages. Complained via Uber eats since that's how I ordered, and quite frankly, I didn't fancy a replacement tub in case they were all that disgusting. Absolutely shocking.

Overall experience was okay qick service, but it's not what ues to be a few years ago, I don't think I'd be rushing back anytime soon

How can this place even be called a diner, absolutely disgusting. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Order food for the food arrived over an hour later we ordered Sunday dinners corned beef pie and desserts parts of the meal were missing dessert was frozen solid like a block of ice veg and potatoes stone cold contacted Uber who delivered and they weren’t interested never again what’s waste of money

I heard this place made great breakfast and lunch and decided to give it a chance. I was pleasantly surprised! The customer service was lush when we entered, tables were clean and the place was neat. They had a wide selection of food available on their menu and plenty of halal and gluten free options, not to mention the food was great! Would recommend <3

My husband had a roast dinner delivered to his work place. Plus notes loads was so much was enough leftovers for me today. Tasty gravy, beef mash and swede. I did not try parsnips and roasts as he ate them. However carrots and peas like bullets. Carrots tasted like not been peeled. Also so called pigs in blankets were 2 nasty smoky flavoured chipolatas no blankets in site. As was 2 good portions good value but you wouldn't know this if not ordered before so £11 plus delivery for mediocre dinner not great

Save your money .absolutely dreadful and a rip off .spent 20 plus pounds on breakfast. Since reopened it has put its prices up alot .and the portions are smaller. Cheap sausages .tiny portion of beans .no toast with my husband breakfast .travelled for this .never again .was much better before they closed down and done phone orders only .then reopened with less tables .more chaos as all staff busy with phone and online orders .really gone DOWN HILLSIDE MONEY GO TOBY OR HARVESTER HALF THE PRICE

Very busy, nice food for price, pity one meal got a long delay and the kids had finished before our meals came out. Will go again, but may book a table.

We ordered food on Just Eat at 12 o’clock said the estimated time was 1 o’clock which is normal. We didn’t receive our food until 2:15 and when we did get the food it was absolutely freezing as if it was kept in the fridge! Called up to get a refund and the staff were absolutely disgusting both the waitress and the manager were so rude and refused a refund!

Ordered a Sunday roast for my hubby as i am doing a night shift - couldnt resist so had a bit stunning. Been for breakfast outstanding - i can cook both but on a night shift no time lol. Was in school with Mark - Paul brother who is a brilliant chef and also visited the wig and pen where Paul and Lance worked alongside Pauls parents - service and food always brilliant as is now in Uplands Regards Sandra

Cheap and cheerful food, typical to what a relative who's not that great at cooking but who always has something to offer might make. The roast dinner - what it lacks in quality, it makes up for in quantity and variety - choice of meat, gravy, Yorkshire pud, parsnips, roasties, boiled potato, mashed potato, peas, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage and stuffing (I may have left something else out) ... oh yes, brocoli and swede too. Gravy leaves a slightly greasy sheen on the roof of your mouth, the meat is very neatly sliced almost as though it's out of a packet. Some of the veggies were overcooked, others were just right. Nothing seasoned in any way whatsoever. Hot and filling, and pretty cheap, but not sure I'd eat it again. Staff are efficient and reasonably friendly. It's a place that's good for students or if you want to fill your tummy on a budget, but it is not somewhere for a special meal or a good quality one.

Went in for 2 sausage sandwiches to take away.. Place had 4 people in it and no queues.. Waited 13.5 mins asked what the hell is going on, advised a further 5..refund and went elsewhere.. Avoid... Place has gone to the dogs...

Ordered a'delexe' beef dinner what dissapointment the beef was like leather (obviosly a cheap cut) the swede was rancid parsnips and carrots unpeeled gravy tasteless walpaper paste... for £15 I could have made a roast for a family of four .... don't waste your money

Just paid £15 to have a salad from here got delivered 2 potatoes 3 slices of cucumber a few leaves of lettuce and a lump of chicken. Its not even fresh. Like seriously if u gonna work with food atleast try and make a effort.

Really disappointing meal. Jumbo all dayer, tasteless, bland and cold. Not usually the standard of Diner food, but it'll be a long time before I order from UD again.

We stayed a couple of doors away for the air show, had a lovely breakfast. Was greeted with a smile by a male member of staff. Other staff were very attentive and friendly. Full English Breakfast was delicious and just enough for me with small appetite, open kitchen, very busy chefs but very clean, hygiene was good. Will definitely return when in the area again.

Not quite how I remembered it. 90% of the restaurant is closed off and all of the customers are now forced to sit in one small area at the front where no menus are available with just screens on the wall to read from with a limited menu, all while delivery drivers standing next to your table waiting to collect orders... I don't know who thought this was a good idea. Perhaps if the front area could be used for delivery driver collections and the rest for customers it wouldn't be such a poor experience Food and service was decent

If anyone reads my reviews they will see that I am honest and fair. I ordered a Spicy Burger and a fries from this establishment…. It was nearly 15 minutes late, when it arrived it was cold, the bun and fries were soggy and the whole meal was cold. A complete waste of money. Never again!

Food is nice. Staff are nice and friendly especially the delivery driver who goes by the name of Deano Beano who also has lovely teeth.

Fortunately, we were able to sit at one of three tables in the window for a cooked breakfast, however this business has changed to mainly offering takeaway and delivery. The menu is extensive, but food is only available in disposal containers so not ideal for a sit down meal. Staff serving were efficient.

As a delivery person for deliveroo walk in orders are ready no complaints

Thank you for our 2 Sunday dinners, so much food for 2 people. Arrived on the time slot arranged. This was a competition that I entered so thank you for the really nice surprise when I had heard I had won these dinners.

This use to be the best place in swansea for a breakfast they are absolutely fantastic but this place has gone drastically down hill. They have changed what was a great place and made it take aways only losing the great atmosphere they use to have. If you are lucky enough to to sit on one of the two tables they now have inside it is served in a cardboard box and subsequently lots of customers walk out the door not making an order and still hungry. This is a really poor judgement call from the management team and I am sure I am not the only one who is disappointed

Excellent food and friendly service makes for a wonderful dining experience. They have something on their menu for everyone.

Ordered through deliveroo food arrived lukewarm with missing eggs (jumbo breakfast), and the New York Cheesecake was frozen with a layer of ice on top, suffice to say we weren't impressed and won't be going back soon.

Outstanding, pulled pork sub is out of this world.

Went for breakfast and ate in the diner. Food was good but felt (covid) unsafe whilst eating. Felt we were packed in like sardines. Was sat to the right as you walk in and when we first arrived many tables around us were empty. During our visit that changed quickly and it became full. The back of my chair was literally touching the back of the persons seat behind me! Had to ask them to pull thier chair in to be able to get out to leave, we were that close. Although they hardly had anymore room to give me it was that tight. In this climate it isn't great. Some tables really need to be removed to help the situation.

Great big breakfast but lots on the menu. The two guys that run it are smashing and love their social conscious as look after the elderly and people who are vulnerable. Try the beast and fail!!

Absolute shambles, ordered food via Uber eats, as driver handed over the food he said watch it’s leaking, as my partner took the bag the PAPER bag ripped & the food was all over the floor!!! Driver saw everything & said ring them straight away so we did, uplands diner unhelpful & food inedible, kept blaming Uber eats but they pack the food ready for the driver to take! They packed 4 meals into 1 paper bag which got soggy & inadequate to hold the food!! No customer service & inadequate packaging!
