Gorgeous food for a good price with a good serving amount.

Absolutely unbelievable food one of my favourites... I wasn't sure if it would be as good as unos in yarm, but the food was actually for better, which is a massive compliment. My son got fish fingers and chips and which was all home cooked and looked amazing, surprising for a kids plate. My partner got a steak with peppercorn steak, which she described as one of the best steaks she had eaten , she was stuffed and still didn't want to leave any. I got the hot shot parmesan and let me just say it was by far one of the best parmos I've ever eaten, it was cooked to perfection the toppings were generous and under the cheese a perfect amount of bechamel and the chips don't get me started... delicious. Staff were very friendly and scomodating to my son, who did make a bit of a mess. Great experience, will 100% be returning !

I tried Uno Momento in Boro for the first time yesterday but wasn't impressed and wouldn't return. I had squid as a starter which was barely cooked then pepperoni pizza as my main which wasn't much better and I couldn't finish it. The latte was fine and the service was fast,and the staff friendly. And restaurant is smart but it was let down by the main ingredient: food!

Great Saturday lunch, the two course special is fab value - quality and quantity amazing. Staff so friendly and exchanged banter with us. My highlight was black pudding and cheeses starter - amazing and looked like a huge profiterole. Brilliant time had by the three of us.

I honestly can't understand any positive reviews here. Went on a Friday night place was pretty quiet when we arrived but soon filled up with parmo hungry locals. Look it was cheap, we got two courses for £10.95 and that's fantastic, we got desserts and for some reason they were one pound less than advertised on the menu. Service was pretty unfriendly, not a smile from our waitress who seemed on the edge. First order was incorrect but that's fine they quickly noticed and whipped it away. They then returned with the correct order however my pasta was a chicken dish which I had not ordered but I couldn't be bothered at this point. Pasta overcooked and not seasoned. Pizza was really disappointing, palid undercooked and really bland. Starters which we ordered to arrive all at the same time were pretty bad. Bruschetta was absolutely criminal with hard melted bland cheese on top which no amount of balsamic smears could save. Potato skins were the most passable but the rest was a disaster. Dessert was equally uninspiring. Service was really below par, no one asked us how our meal was or attempted to engage in anyway, I smiled and said thank you, don't worry a number of times but got nothing back. Took a really long time to get the bill and then an equally long time to get the card machine to pay. Even at this point we weren't asked how our meal was. Basic stuff. Simplify the menu I would imagine would make the quality better but the place was busy when we left so I guess people like it. Even when we left I had to initiate a "thanks a lot, bye then".

Just been for a meal for my partners birthday we had pasta and pizza the pasta there was no taste very bland and the staff have a very bad attitude definitely won’t be back

It wasn't bad, is wasn't good, it was meh. I eat at alot of Italian restaurants, this wasn't even average, tasted cheap

Always visit this brilliant restaurant when in the area went last Thursday and Today our favourite server was on today she is fantastic we will definitely be back

Oh dear, very disappointed. We had our table booked for 7pm for a family celebration and at 8.30 we were still waiting for our main courses. When this was highlighted to staff the answer was that we should have told them we were in a rush and they could have brought the main courses with the starters????? Not really a very good solution to a meal out. The excuse give was a table of 50 upstairs but if this had been communicated to us when we booked or even when we arrived it would have been better and we could have rearranged our taxi booking. When the mains did arrive I would describe them as 'mediocre' only. I do need to be fair and add some positives - one main of seabass was really good and all eaten. When I did speak to the manager to be fair to him he did refund some drinks and coffees which was appreciated. We came to Uno Momento because our usual restaurant Fellini's has closed. Such a shame bit Uno Momento is NO replacement for Fellini's at all. Sad to say I don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

Came for lunch and took advantage of the happy hour menu, got the fried mozzarella to start and enjoyed it, for the main had the fungi pizza, it was very good and most importantly the base was nice and crisp. Staff were friendly and helpful, glad this restaurant is still here since novello ristorante closed.

What can I say the food was top notch and good size portions. What you don't eat they will box up for you so that's a plus. The service was very good and is reasonable priced. you really can't go wrong in this restaurant. Xx

Good food and atmosphere - for Christmas meal in December 2024. Service was slightly slow but it was busy and they made up for it by their helpfulness and friendliness. Meal was highly enjoyable.

My daughters and I popped in for lunch. I'd never been before but one of my daughters had, and said it was lovely. Service was good. We had a garlic bread with tomato and cheese to share, and my daughters had paninis served with chunky chips which they thoroughly enjoyed. I wanted the Alfredo pasta which was served with penne, but I wanted tagliatelle instead, which was no trouble at all. I prefer it with tagliatelle so it was worth the ask, and also a good sign that the pasta was cooked from fresh. Everything was spot on, polite and efficient service, reasonably priced, and a lovely atmosphere. We are definitely planning on returning.

Food lacked flavour. A few potatoe wedges weren’t fully cooked either.

Website Keats this restaurant as being open until 9.00pm. We arrived at 8.20pm to be told that the kitchen was closed. The staff were completely uninterested.

Visited sunday afternoon last week with my wife. Firstly our drinks order was forgotten which wasn't a great start. Starters came , and I ordered spicy prawns that were frozen and deep-fried. Wife's brusscetta was good. My main was linguine, which was very bland. Wife's salmon was ok,but we just found the service poor and atmosphere just dire. I wish I'd just gone to manjaros, always consistent quality food.

Great place to eat if you like Italian food. The portion sizes were a little large for me but it tasted really good!

Been here a few of times, when visiting Middlesbrough. Always nice food, good service and nice atmosphere and staff. Lots to choose from and good drinks menu. I like the fact they give you a box for your pizza to take home with you if you don't eat it all. Had 2 muscle and garlic starters and it was lovely and you get loads. A pizza each and 2 bottles of wine for less than 40 quid. Couldn't eat most of the pizza so they boxed it up for us to take back to our hotel. Nice place for food and prices are good especially if you hit happy hour which we didn't know about untill the member of staff told us about. Great place for food in Middlesbrough

food was freezing cold. chips were dry and cold. shouldn't have to heat everything up when it arrives. especially chicken.

This was supposed to be a celebration party, there were 20 of us of all different ages but no options on the menu for children’s portions for those who were children or older folks who can’t eat the massive portions provided.. We asked for half portions but they wouldn’t do it, big mistake. my mum is 90 and was left till last she thinks they forgot her! She could only manage a few mouthfuls in the time left to us before we needed to leave. Deeply disappointed that this establishment isn’t able to accommodate different appetites! I had a very bland tagliatelle. I persevered because it’s a waste to not eat as much as you can when it’s put before you but I would’ve preferred a half portion. One member of staff tried his best to make our experience a happy one, but two other members of staff didn’t seem to care whether we were there or not. I certainly won’t be going there again…I cannot recommend any of the other dishes although from what I could see that others had ordered, it also looked run of the mill and bland! They knew there would be 20 of us and yet the amount of time it took to bring food out was too long and we all finished at different times!

The restaurant is brightly lit and welcoming. Friendly staff. Lots of choices in the menu including special deals for 2 or 3 courses. We were a group of 3 and had 2 courses each. We all commented on how tasty the food was, and the generous size of the portions. Considering those factors, the prices were extremely good. Good range of beers and wine. Lovely ambience. Recommended!

Difficult to find a restaurant open on a Monday evening nowadays. Ones that are open are usually full. We took a chance and were lucky after a wait of a few minutes. The cuisine is Italian and has a very large choice of dishes for all courses. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. This is one of a chain of local restaurants of the same name and same menu. We have always had very good food at reasonable prices at the ones that that we have visited. Their bruschette is the best I have ever had. My only negative would be that there is no draught beer, only lager.

The experience was not as good as the rating. Not enough staff the provide a good service. Food quality was pretty mediocre and I’ll would give it a miss next time.

Pizza and chicken fajitas were cold , fajita wraps were rock hard you could snap them like a cracker

This used to be lovely but I ordered a smoked salmon omelette which was flat and really greasy and a warm sad looking grey looking salad. Just not good enough. Can’t fault the service though!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. After looking at the menu and seeing the deals on I expected a sort of budget Italian experience. You know, set amount for a few courses and you get the usual Italian meals with average presentation. I WAS TOTALLY WRONG. The food that was served up for us was amazing, filled with flavour and looked like they’d came from a restaurant 5 times the price. I mean, Bruschetta which is pretty hard to go wrong on or enhance was probably the best I’ve had and I include my visits to Tuscany and Garda to that! Main course was exquisite and just the right amount to not feel overly full. At the end I thought they’d messed up charging us as 2 courses and a beer was ridiculous value!! If I’m back down in Middlesbrough I guarantee I’ll be going here. Go here if you needing a good quality meal in Middlesbrough.

Peppercorn sauce had split so pasta dish was just covered in oil 🤢 . Chicken on pasta was pre cooked...very chewy! parmo and chips where nice. Dance music not something I would personally like to listen to whilt eating. Charge you for sauces. Fair to say won't be returning

My mum and I stumbled upon this place and we were so happy with the food, we came back the next day. The waiter messed up my order on the first day (which was quickly corrected) but it looked so yummy, I decided to try it the next day so the in the end, I was happy the mix up happened. The portions are very generous so be ready to take some home and the presentation is top notch! I will definitely come here again in the future and will recommend to any one visiting Middlesbrough

The food was absolutely amazing 👏 😋. The spaghetti bolognese is definitely a must-have, and don't even get me started with the chicken Fajitas 😋 ,simply beautiful.

Starters were great but the mains were ok. Service was amazing, kudos to the staff.

It is a lovely place with brilliant interior decorations. The staff were actually very helpful and professional, and they paid attention to detail. We also enjoyed the food simply delicious. I would definitely recommend it 👌

Was disappointed with my Parmo I wouldn't be rushing back.

Had got the food before online and really enjoyed it. Have tried several times now to order food with them and every time they cancel the order. Disappointing

This restaurant was highly recommended for the Italian food and I have to say that it was worth it . We wanted good halal food and we were delighted to find this gem of a place . They serve halal chicken dishes which are decadent and decently tickle the taste buds with utter joy .

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Booked for 7pm. Finally got a table at 7.20. Waited until 8.15 for mains. Poor service. Steaks not cooked correctly. Basically very poor.

Great place to have dinner or lunch. Very good pricing and the service it very good. Octavian provided an excellent service and explained the dishes in an amicable way. The restaurant has a nice decoration and good music. recommend going if in Middlesbrough

My grandson's birthday party quite a few of the family. Were there everybody enjoyed it? Everybody enjoyed each meal. Can't wait to go back.

The food was delicious, the staff and owner were very polite, presented and were excellent hosts. They took the time to speak to me, guided me through the menu. The food arrived in a timely manner and was piping hot. I spent around 30 pound which got me and my partner: 16 inch cheesy garlic bread Hotshot parmo with home made chips A giant calzone Goat cheese and halloumi fritters Two filter coffees We struggled to eat it all. I highly reccomend Uno Momento!

Two of the waiters who served us were very rude, didn't look at us when taking the order and when paying. Got both parts of our orders wrong and didn't apologise. The lady who served our starter was the only one who cared. The food was bland and undercooked. Still charged us full price despite all this. The table was also not clean when we sat down. Customer service was dire. Won't be back.

Went here today with my Ride or Die bestie. Absolutely AMAZING!. Staff were brilliant, food was incredible and the price was great! (The staff were easy on the eye too) The portion sizes were brilliant and everything was pure perfection!. Absolutely 100% would go again.

Advertise special prices all day every day then charge full price on a Friday when Take That are playing. Menu states excludes bank Holidays and special ocassions. Or just when the manager fancies cashing in. Disgraceful and am sure trading standards would agree. No mention when we booked that it was a different menu price or when we arrived.

to be honest very disappointing, i came here once about a year ago and the portions were amazing as well as being tasty, afraid to say my experience this time was not half as good, although the music, staff and overall decoration of the place is nice it doesn’t make up for the food, me and my friends all ordered a parmo, all 3 came lukewarm with a rationed amount of chips and a parmo dripping in grease, the chicken was tough and chewy and the large plate made the parmo look tiny, although it did come within around 15 minutes it was clear it wasn’t fresh, considering this place gives off a “posh” appearance i would’ve thought there food would be a lot nicer and all 3 of us were left disappointed, the price wasn’t bad but i have had a lot better for a lot cheaper too.

We went in as a really big group. They handled us very well. Even with some of our group not paying attention. The menu is absolutely amazing. So many things to choose from, even as someone as picky as I am, and they allowed me to ask for alterations. I even tried something new (atleast for me), muscles in garlic sauce. I was fearing I would have the infamous bad tummies from it, but they must have been cooked perfectly as I didn't have even a hint of badness.

considering how busy the place was - take that were in town- we didn't have to wait long to be seated or served and the food was delicious 😋

My friend & myself went here yesterday to eat before the Take That concert. The staff here couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. They were incredibly busy and were seemingly under pressure- but the service and quality of food was second to none. 5☆☆☆☆☆ A massive thankyou and well done to all the staff here.

I travel to Middlesbrough regularly and usually spend one evening here. I wrote a review on Google maps 6 months ago and thought I’d do another one here. The food is always good. The portions are plentiful. Even when the place is busy, the service is first class. Special shout out to Amber, who is always friendly and efficient.

Informal, spacious restaurant with a varied choice of starters and mains which can be chosen together on specials menus. Very relaxed service, speedy but no pressure when meal finished. The goats cheese and black pudding starter was delicious the Risotto all’s pescatora tasty and very filling. Update: visit Middlesbrough regularly and since my first visit 6 months ago, I usually have one meal here each time I visit. Consistently good food and service. Particular shout out to Amber who is always friendly and efficient.

Booked for 6pm waited 20 min for starter then waited 1 hour 20 min for main course people that came in after us got main course before us and had already finished and left before we got food will never go back again garlic mushrooms like mushrooms soup garlic bread had way to much garlic on thats all could taste pizza was disgusting cheese slime very poor experience

Been here a few times food is great however booked a table for half 9 from travelling told the kitchen shut at half 10 as we got seated was then told the kitchen is closed.

Incredibly vibrant, modestly priced, and the food was delicious. Arrived with no booking and only had to wait a few minutes. Food was cooked perfectly, the manager helped his staff with the catering in generous ways. Was worth every penny.

Food was delicious and it was a lovely atmosphere. The gentleman serving us seemed in a bad mood, which he blamed on being at college all day when another table asked if they could get their service with a smile. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

The pizza was incredibly delicious and very generously priced, also the portion sizes were more than desirable. The 2 for £10 cocktail deal was also great, however, I wish you could choose two different cocktails. All in all a brilliant atmosphere and I will be back to try the tiramisu!! One slight issue was it was quite difficult to get the attention of a waiter which made ordering food and drinks a bit awkward but the staff were friendly 🤩

Very poor and slow service tonight. Even though it was quiet when we first arrived. Staff were also unprofessional. Not the usual service I have received there in the past. Food lovely and good value however.

Thank you to this place for accommodating 12 people at very short notice after another restaurant had completely let us down! The staff were brilliant and so friendly! The food was 25 mins late and the Garlic bread was cold. Asked for a refund as the food was 25 mins past their latest time and a refund was refused, Late because of the Restaurant not me.

Really disappointed with the time scale considering I pre ordered for husband coming in from a 12 hr shift!!! And it was our anniversary

We usually ascend the Stokesley restaurant for staff meals (always great!). We mistakenly went elsewhere for a delayed Christmas meal. After being let down by competitors down the road unexpectedly, Uno Momento came to our rescue. With 12 diners left deserted they accommodated us with open arms. Brilliant service, brilliant food. With many thanks and appreciation.

Ive made 4 trips here in quick succession, once dining in and the other 3 as a takeout. In each case I've found the staff to be great- courteous and attentive, whilst the food has been sublime - Pasta, Parmesan & 3 types of Pizza.

Update Even four years later, very tasty steak, fresh salad and top service. I would like to agree with the good reviews. Great steak, perfectly fried with delicious side dishes and good service. You can go there often and have a nice time.
