Uncles Sam's in Worthing

Decided to try Uncle Sams as I hadn't been before, bought a chicken burger. Was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burger and the tender crispy chicken inside, the fries were also hot and fresh. Will return again when I'm in the area, a tasty lunch for a fair price.

Burger wasn’t as good as usual - disappointing

Pleasantly suprised, hadn’t been to an uncle Sam’s in over 10 years so wasn’t sure what to expect, really good shakes, kids meals burgers were great, chips a bit sloppy but the best bit was the blue cheese burger!!!

After wait 2 hours for another order on another delivery app. all together took 40 mins wish I did this now order again

Chips were stale but everything else was good, never had a problem before either Uncle Sam’s!

Came for a quick burger. Staff look to have the dirtiest looking hands and nails to say they work in food, I wonder how many of them have a food hygiene certificate. Also using phones behind the counter, then touching food covered in germs.

placed order, waited over an hour, got told it has been delivered but didn't so tried to phone the store and no answer, phoned 4 more times and still getting any answer, absolute joke so don't order from this branch.

Nowhere near as good as Uncle Sam's in Rustington.

The service from the delivery driver was great! The food however, turned up lukewarm with the wrong drink!

Completely wrong order delivered. Couldn’t get through to restaurant. Food that was delivered was cold and soggy. Food went in the bin. Only partial refund from just eat. Don’t bother with this restaurant.

Having read negative reviews I was nervous placing my first order but the food was delicious and milkshakes great. Delivery was on time and friendly - many thanks!

Horrible The People Weren't Wearing Hair Nets And There Was Hair In My Food. And I Ordered 2 Nine Nugget Meals And Paid For Them And Gave Me 2 Kids Meal. Vile Never Again Disgusting.

I haven't received the food after ordering almost 3 hours ago. Delivery was booked for 1.20 pm its now 2.45 nd im still waiting ?!?!?!?! I expect a full refund once the order us delivered

Ordered at 17.45 arrived at 19.33 food was stone cold . Tried to call no one answered would like a refund this is disgusting paid 14 pound , 3.99 delivery charge to wait over an hour and half in total for cold food . Please refund my money . Not happy

I often order the same meal from here. Today it tasted completely different ! Didn’t even taste like beef. More like a boiled hot dog. Have you change supplier ? I tried to call but it’s a number you can’t get through too !

Late and totally wrong order. Reading the reviews I don’t understand how they can get it wrong pretty much every time. We try not to get delivery from this place as it’s always either too slow or we get the wrong order. Definitely won’t be making that mistake again.

Ordered non-standard burgers (things removed, things added) and the order was perfected served. It arrived on time, with a friendly Just Eat rider. The burgers were hot, and the fries were warm which is generally the best you ever get with takeaway fries. Will use them again after this experience.

We had the wrong order delivered, took about 8 attempts to get through to the restaurant. Was told they would deliver our correct order with in 15 minutes. When that arrived another 35minutes. The food was cold and half of it was still missing. No hash browns in our burgers.

Order was 40 mins later than stated although was shown as delivered on the app. When we tried to call the restaurant, the phone was permanently engaged. When order arrived, all items were cold and the delivery driver offered no explanation. Gutted as normally quality and service is good.

Delivery was an hour and 30mins late. Tried to call the restaurant 8 times with no reply. Asked on line for a discount for delay and they said no. When the food arrived it was cold. Will not be ordering again

Driver was quite rude asking for a tip - we paid £10.50 for delivery and he complained it was so far… not really how a customer should be made to feel

Order was 90 mins late, cold and incorrect and this is the restaurant’s response: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. We hope you enjoyed your food." Abysmal service and will not be ordering from here again!

We refused delivery as order was 50 mins over ETA and we tried to contact restaurant to ask if we were getting order, they didn’t pick up phone so we ordered elsewhere then delivery driver arrived - worst communication ever will not go back to Uncle Sams in Worthing

Food was cold, missing chips, chicken and drinks. They wouldn't answer the phone to rectify this and just eat hasn't refunded me a penny as of yet!!

Took nearly 2 hours to arrive and when it did everything was cold.

Order was perfect and still arrived warm even when delivering all the way to Chichester (30 min drive). Delivery driver was very friendly. :)

Cold food, normally hot and early

Order was late tried to call them and the call was ended every time, when messaged through just eat they gave me the option to ask for a refund or some money back which the restaurant refused. I dont usually ask for a refund but i felt this was warranted. The food was also very cold

After travelling home from our holiday me and my family were famished...we were looking forward to a nice burger and chips before heading to bed. It arrived on time and as ordered but was freezing cold. We ate it as we needed to get to bed but it was disappointing

The food was completely cold and not edible . It said the courier was on his way for ages so it's not surprising it's cold .

The Hawaiian Hamburger was lovely and so where the mozzarella sticks. The chips were stodgey and the chocolate milkshake was vanilla with some flecks of chocolate. Definitely better if you go in to get the order.

The chips were over cooked and they were very small portions for £3.10. Also the vege burger has changed to a bean burger which wasn't stated on the menu. I couldn't eat it as I am allergic to beans!

Ordered via Uber, over £10 worth of the meal did not arrive. 3 times the restaurant put the phone down on me as soon as I told them what happened. I will never use them again, over priced, rubbish service

Took 2 hours to deliver from a 30 minute wait time just to have no chips with the meal only one drink and it’s was stone cold like it hadn’t even been cooked. The packaging was so wet and greasy what did arrive was in a big lump no longer in the packets

due to be delivered at 1:10 then was changed 1:20 at 1:30 they put delivered but once i phoned them they said it was on way!! was finally delivered 1:43 food was cold

I don’t understand why you accept the order if you can’t get it delivered for over 2.5h. Also don’t make up unrealistic estimated arrival times that you also can’t make on time, just be honest about how long it will take. I won’t be ordering again.

The bun was a tiny tinchy bit ripped and squashed at one side, it didn’t look perfect but it tasted perfect, every time I get Uncle Sam’s burgers they are perfect, the best around.

Waited nearly 2 hours for my food for it to turn up stone cold but by that time we were so hungry we ate it. Definitely do not waste your money taste exactly the same as kebab burger and it would probably come faster.

Delivery was very late and food was cold and soggy. When I've collected my own order it's been nice but we couldn't eat it because it was cold and very late.

Ordered food in advance for it to arrive at 19.30 didn’t arrive until 19.50. Chips and burger were cold, my wife didn’t eat hers due to this. Very poor
