I have never spewed so much in my life my burger tasted like road kill and my korma was straight out of microwave

The driest kebab ever , I contemplated eating the cardboard box it came in

Delivered with two things wrong,one totally missing and one with garlic sauce on when not ordered,sent out missing item to get that totally wrong,and full of chilli sauce,and two tubs of chilli sauce as well,I order this mixed meat on pitta for months and months,lost our custom,bye....

Ordered meat samosa got vegetable samosa instead I rang to let them know line kept breaking up so unable to rectify the situation

size of my brownie was shocking i could if got a lidl brownie for that size and it would be cheaper

Bought a good takeaway, enjoyed had to wait 15 mins for it but at least know was fresh and no war.ed up, reccomend

Ordered 2 x cookie dough and only one cookie dough and one phish food .Rung up and woman was vague has and then agreed that I had just ordered from them and said there was only one cookie dough so I said shouldn’t they have rung me or told me when delivering food she said sorry and they would send another out .Hang on didn’t she just say there was only one cookie dough anyway low and behold she rung to ask me if the phish food had been open and said I would have to pay for another one to be delivered told her to do one never order again .The chips were cold and there was hardly any kebab meat and no salad .Avoid

I ordered BBQ chicken pizza and chips , and a cheeky cookie pie it was lovely only as personal preference I’d prefer the pizza cooked slightly more, which if I go again I’ll ask. service was great the young lady that served was very pleasant and welcoming not sure of her name (blonde hair) wish I did because she deserves recognition.

These guys have just redeem themselves. If you are looking for a good Curry at a good price then this is the place to go. Stay well away from the likes of Tandoori Hut! They will rip you off, get your order wrong then do nothing to about it when you phone with an issue! Well done Umars! 👏

Pizza was brilliant however the cheesy chips arnt great they slab cheese on the side and it's not worth the price. Also the service was poor, i didnt know who to talk to when I went I and waited longer then I should have for my order when It was order.

Ordered a kebab. Worst kebab ever. Meat was really dry, hardly any sauce. Portion size for a kebab compared to other places was small. So disappointed.

Ordered the Mixed Kebab box…about 4 strips of thick dry kebab and a handful of chicken. Mostly full of chips. Also missed my garlic sauce off the order. Pizza was dry and tasted nothing like Balti curry. Ordered a kebab wrap with salad…however only one piece of brown lettuce was found once I opened the wrap up. Overall very poor and substandard food and won’t be ordering again.

Big portions where 3 adults can stuff themselves for 9quid! Never had food poisoning or anything here. Tasty, big portions and fast delivery. I kinda felt it was longer and busier when I went to collect. I recommend the large wrap nan mix kebab and burgers boxes ( burgers are for 1)

Heard a few good things about this place, thought I’d give it a try, staff was very friendly and professional over the phone at weekend sounded very busy heard all the phones ringing but the staff took there time but food was absolutely amazing for the price and wasn’t waiting too long really pleased with the customer service I recieved

There was mold on it the sent replacement but that one had mold on it too

Best place for pizza in the whole of the BMBC district! Always a 20-inch to share with a friend or two, never been disappointed, and price is excellent.

Just ordered a half pound burger with everything on salads onions what you sent me was 2 burgers in a bun no salad no onions, buck your ideas up or you will lose more customers

Don't bother ordering salad unless you like red cabbage an tons of onion. Not a tomato or bit of cucumber in sight. Chilli tubs just aren't big enough so usually have to order 2. Meals can be hit an miss.....sometimes good, others not so much.

I ordered a mixed chicken on naan bread which was huge & delicious but the masala curry sauce that I ordered & paid £3 for came in one of those tiny round tubs that you get peas in. I phoned up & was told that I’d only been charged £1.50 for the curry sauce( doesn’t even advertise that size on website) Looking again-at my full bill, I’d been charged and extra 50p for the kebab & definitely £3 for the sauce. She was quite abrupt and told me that I hadn’t and put the phone down. I phoned back, fuming as that small tub of curry wasn’t going to cover much of my kebab & wasn’t what I’d ordered but was then told that £2 was for delivery, not stated anywhere on the website or menu’s. I even went back online and put the order in and there was no delivery charge on there. I always enjoy the food from here but sometimes the phone manner can be a little rude.

Usually order from here every week with no issues over last month don't know what's happened but everything is so spicy it's not edible doesn't matter what it it is or if it's meant to be also no indication on the menu also orders are turning up cold and wrong won't be ordering again unfortunately

Nice food, decent prices. Only downside is the delivery times are really long when it's busy, which is understandable I suppose, but waiting an hour and 20 minutes for your food feels a lot longer when you're hungry

We’ve been welcomed to the premises by a well known sniff head in the local area. Unfortunately for us she made our experience Terrible as the place is absolutely filthy it’s never seen a mop in its life as the floors are disgusting and the windows are full of grease and all the surfaces are covered in dust. The woman was encouraging sniffing to all the customers as she works for free and get some sniff at the end of the shift as the manager of the business told us she works for sniff which we don’t have a clue what sniff is but we have travelled many miles just to try out this new place as we’ve been recommended by one of our colleagues. All jokes are side food was disgusting but lovely staff but kindness doesn’t reflect on the food quality or hygiene that this business is carry on. I suggest anyone willing to try it out bring your pets along first for a trial bite. On the positive side the coke cans were well with in date(one week).

Always enjoyed the food from umars combined with reasonable prices but tonight's large donner meat and chips is smaller than anything I've ordered before, from ANYWHERE. Disappointed.

I had just finished the day from hell at work, started at 6:30am and finished at 9:30pm, not having had the chance to eat I had seen a post on Facebook advertising the cheeseburger pizza box meal, so I decided I was going to give it a go. I placed my order at 9pm and picked up on the way home, I’d ordered for myself and the children, one of which is autistic and quite fussy. So I got home and tucked in, words fail at how amazing the pizza tasted absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. It wasn’t overpowering with the veg either! The dinner meat was also spot on! My daughter had cheesy chips and she stated they were the best ones she has ever had. My other daughter (the autistic one) also really enjoyed her margarita pizza, which is a winner in itself! We have now decided that with all members of the household in agreement, that this is our new place for ordering, it’s so hard to find somewhere that pleases all of us so this is a big thing. The fact I’m writing a review says this as it’s something I never do. I can’t stress how much I recommend umars. Well done guys, from a very happy parent.

Ordered the mixed kebab box, which looks absolutely delicious on their Facebook page and good value for money at £12. But that’s where it ends. The shop was manic when I went in to collect, which proves just how popular the shop is...but I’m afraid it just isn’t for us. I’ve never known chicken in kebabs to be brown and chewy. The tikka was full of gristle so we had to keep spitting it out, which isn’t exactly appetising. The chips, kebab meat and salad were as expected, but the two chicken inclusions (I think these are tikka and tandoori) are disgusting. Obviously using cheap cuts of chicken which makes me feel a little queasy now when I think about it. Won’t be visiting again.

So after pre ordering my food and receiving the wrong order phoned back up as it was wrote wrong on the receipt too only to have the rude woman blame me for it even though there was several people in the house to say I ordered correctly we even had a full conversation about what I wanted yet she said I didn't order it

Just been in the shop bought 30 eggs @ £4.50 . 1 minute he advertising at £2.50 when I rang ask reason for price change I got abuse telling me I can do what I want . DON'T buy from this place a total rip off

Umars is our favourite takeaway by far. Food is amazing, staff are lovely and delivery drivers are all friendly. Especially during this quarantine when everything seems to be closed...Umars are going above and beyond to help customers get grocerys etc as well as their usual menu Well worth the money. Ordered a pizza from here and the base was white not even cooked properly.

Just had a order from here. Ordered a 4 cheese pizza and large chips for me n hubby to share. Kebab meat n chips n a can of Pepsi. The pizza was completely bland. Couldn't taste one cheese never mind four. If that was large chips god help a smaller portion. Daughter said kebab wasn't bad. And the Pepsi wasn't sent either. Don't think I will be ordering from here again and no I am not a smoker like the owner replied with. Never smoked in my life and neither does my husband

Order from Umar’s every now again, depending on the day I can be waiting anywhere between 5 - 60 minutes to receive my order which are normally small, the staff are friendly, is a busy place and looks clean and well maintained.

Regularly order from here and must say, we love it. Granted they have messed up our order a couple of times but mostly spot on and faultless. The biggest kebabs ( large mixed on nan ) I've ever seen, curry's which if you like this sort of thing blows ya head off ( I do) and lush pizzas. To say they started off in a small shack on the bottom of laithes Lane, they have done very well and, it shows. Staff are friendly and helpful. 👍

They don't even answer the phone. I was calling from 23:50pm up to 00:23 at night and nothing. They are terrible at customer service.

Just ordered for here 2 7in calazone and one had a bite out off it and the over one had no kabab meat in it so will not order again for here

Great food but I have been twice and they have messed my order up twice. I firstly ordered a calzone Kiev to which I received a tikka calzone. Then asked for deep Pan chicken special and received thin crust chicken special.

We went to Umars for Pizzas chips and chicken nuggets for my Grandsons birthday party. They opened early to accommodate his party. First class service delivered on time and piping hot, a big thank you it was a great day.

Love the pizza and it's cheap as well. The pizza is hot and cook. Carefull the pizza may be hot!!!

The mixed meat kebab from Umars is well worth the money (and it's cheap as chips). You get a decent portion size and a good selection of meat, the salad needs work but if you're eating a kebab, I'm not sure you'll be that interested in the salad anyway 🤣 My youngest son always orders the small calzone and, although I think there's too much dough, he absolutely loves it! My eldest son ordered the 16inch pizza! WOW! It is huge! He even struggled to finish it! Overall, as kebab shops go, it's one to try!

Get a takeaway from here every weekend, quick service tasty food a variety of curries and other takeaway foods, pizzas burgers chicken etc Great value for money!!
