Two Chicks in Croydon

***NO LONGER IN BUSINESS*** Drove here with the intention of getting dessert for two kids who were sorely disappointed

This is a vfm place, kids love it and no complaints

Used to be our fav takeaway waffles were a mess ice cream melted all over them instead of in a cup to put on when we got home No pot of sauce with the wings Second bad experience after so many good ones seems to be going down hill

Love this place food always spot one espcially there milkshakes and popcorn chicken and staff are so nice can't do enough you Love the scouser

Shop has great potential but i think a few of their main dishes let them down. Mac and cheese is really nice and so are the milkshakes but I think they need to improve their Nashville chicken and their Peri chicken. Once they get that right I think it'll be a big hit in Croydon. I think their chicken is halal, consider making the beef halal as well. Their staff are really nice

The food was not great, I ordered bbq chicken and waffles and I have to say it was the worst chicken and waffles I’ve had. The chicken was quite dry and I think for it being a chicken centred shop I would expect them to come better with the chicken. I didn’t even bother to finish it. The staff are friendly and the music is great, I was looking forward to the food and had already decided that I would be back, but after that dish I’m not quite so sure. I’ll probably try again one more time just because the actually experience at the shop was pleasant, my milkshake was nice !

Been here at least 4/5 times now and still amazing. Always trying something new and enjoy everything on the menu so far. Defo recommend 👌🏽

Great food, rice is incredible and don’t skip out on the mac and cheese!

The chicken is cooked to perfection, so much flavour, with your choice of heat and so so tender . The rum punch cocktail using Wray and Nephew overproof white rum is SUPERB. Also magnificent service from Maria and her daughter makes for an amazing dinning experience. Highly recommended

Two Chicks? Yes please. Amazing flavour combinations in their burgers. Family favourite. The chicken is so succulent and the sauces amazing. We love a cheeky takeaway from here. Make the effort to collect and the staff are friendly and helpful and you get the food fresh.

Highly recommend this place! COCKTAILS ARE STRONG (reggae punch best one) food is delicious and comes quick (hats off to the chef) and Marie’s five star service entertaining the kids and personalising our experience. I will be returning with an army.

8 of us and a baby went to celebrate our brothers birthday. Great food. Great prices. Maria the waitress went above and beyond. 👌 awesome thanks for a great meal

Food took way too long to be served, especially considering the quality/taste of it… Milkshake was good.

Food tasted like cardboard. Rustler burgers taste better.

Great space for families, super kid friendly with lovely staff (although a few more small-plate menu options would be nice). The main grub - chicken, chips, mac and cheese etc. - was tasty and plentiful. Personally the homemade hummus and spicy avocado salad were the highlights.

I'll start with the positives: newly decorated and suits the American diner thing they are going for. Cool jukebox, kept my girls entertained. Waiter was young, sweet and did a decent job, which is better than most of his contemporaries. Unfortunately my wife and I did not like the food at all. Portion sizes were very generous, but personally I would much prefer smaller portions and higher quality ingredients. I got chicken and waffles, my wife nandos style grilled chicken and chips. My chicken bites were mostly "breading" rather than actually chicken. The temperature was warm rather than hot. Flavour wasn't good. The waffle was pretty good though. No vegetables. Maybe it's just not my kind of dish? The waiter heartily recommended it. My wife's chicken was not a patch on nandos which it's aiming for. Chips were good to be fair. Mixed bag, but considering this place is trying to concentrate on chicken, it's a big disappointment that it was the worst part of the experience. Others seem to enjoy it looking at the Google reviews. But unfortunately we were very disappointed. I wish them well and hope they can improve their chicken, as there's a decent foundation there. Oh, the price was good considering prices these days, £23 for 2 mains and a soft drink.

Everytime I have been to Two Chicks I have been impressed with the quality, quantity and the price of the food! The food is amazing and the portions are massive, and it is very good value for money. I always recieve outstanding service from Maria, she is always so friendly to all her customers, always has a smile on her face and makes sure everyone gets the best service! Maria (and the food, of course) is the reason that we go so often! She is the definition of brilliant customer service, the restaurant is very lucky to have her there. I would highly recommend this restaurant due to the food, milkshakes and the unbeatable service.

Had a lovely time here the staff were so friendly and happy to assist. They went above and beyond to ensure we satisfied, Maria was amazing and so helpful. We only ordered desserts as we had already had Sunday lunch at home but it was lovely and the food smelled amazing will definitely be back soon.

Great meal here on Saturday afternoon. Staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely fantastic, the portions were MASSIVE and tasted great. £1 refills on soft drinks which I think is great these days as you definitely need more than one to accompany your huge meal. The restaurant was decorated nicely and was very clean with a great atmosphere.

Great food and atmosphere, I think most of the staff were new, so service wasn't as good as it could have been, but they resolved any issues and were very polite

Went here for the first time for a birthday celebration, it was really lovely. Food atmosphere service very good. I'm looking forward to my next visit. ps... I would have loved to be able to order a cup of tea.

Having eaten in and had a take away, we were equally impressed with both. Delicious food, lots of choice, massive portions and good heat on the hot sauce!! Service is great, always so personal and with a smile. You must go!!

The portion sizes are sooo generous. Extensive food menu as well as a variety of milkshakes. Really good own sauces too.

I will defo return to try more things on the menu. The food is really nice!

What a lovely experience. I had a party of 15 for a birthday here and Maria and her team were so accommodating. Maria reserved a lovely three booth space for us, ensured everyone was comfortable and had their orders in - food came out exceptional - very tasty and fresh. Then Maria was kind enough to bring out the cake we brought and sang our birthday boy a happy birthday with birthday music on the restaurants speakers (it’s the little things that are thoughtful) overall I can’t recommend this place enough - Shirley Croydon is very lucky to have it. Thank you again Maria and team!

It was my nephews 18th birthday and they hosted 15 of us. The service was fantastic! The food was amazing! All round this is a great place to eat! Also - the place is spotlessly clean. Thank you

Booked a table for 6 people 15.08.23. Arrived on time. We were left waiting at door for 2 minutes - eventually a female member of staff said 'Yeh'. I explained we had a booking for 6 people - she just nodded at a table. So far not even a word except 'yeh' We sat at our table and she gave us 6 menus. Still not a word! She then started shouting at the chef and arguing with the different delivery drivers coming and going. This continued for 20 minutes. We were totally ignored - never once had a word of conversation with us. We waited for 20 minutes and got up and left. Absolute terrible way to treat customers. We had a great time when we last ate there but sadly will not be going back. We went to the Golden Inn Chinese restaurant instead and had a fab meal.

We visited here and the service was great, staff were friendly, able to explain the menu and the food came out quickly all fresh and still hot. This has just opened and as we are local and had driven past a few times we decided to go in and was not let down. The food was all 10/10 and we will be going back to try the other items on the menu we didn’t last time! Also for the price paid the food and drinks was really reasonably priced / affordable. Great to see this in the local area and I hope it’s a big hit with others as it was with us.

We tried this place on Saturday night And it didn’t disappoint my partner had the 1/2 chicken (similar to Nando’s) salad and garlic bread (best garlic bread) and it was so tasty. I had chicken strips peri peri fries and salad. Chicken was done perfect tender and crispy coating and the sauces wow try the mango 🥭 one sweet and spicey sooooo good. I love Nando’s but two chicks it’s just as good if not better because you have more options, they even done me a lovely strawberry daiquiri. And the milkshakes looked amazing. Staff helpful and friendly. For 2 of us with cocktails it was £54 Good food good service and good price so win win for me Definitely found a new eatery Good addition to the area. Look forward to going back next week

Nice addition to the area, lots on the menu to choose from. We went for fried chicken tenders and chips and popcorn chicken and waffle. Both were very good portion sizes. Friendly service, really nice decor inside.

Had a pleasant al fresco meal here after dropping off an Amazon return across the street. Menu resembled Nando's. Ditto the chicken. The portion was slightly smaller than I expected, but was freshly-cooked and tasty. Chips were standard fare. Cole slaw was a bit dry and heavy on the onions.

Had a great meal in Two Chicks consisting of a Vegan burger and House fries. It was very tasty and we will return. The restaurant was a lot larger than it looks from the outside and was very clean. Staff were very polite and helpful. Thanks.

I'll just say one thing. Nando's - look out. For an independent restaurant this place is fantastic. Beautifully cooked food, particularly the chicken, generous portions, really good service and fairly priced which is unusual in this day and age. Will definitely be going back for more and I highly recommend, particularly if you like good spicy chicken!

We ordered from Two Chicks on UberEats and the food was so good and yummy. We got the loaded fries and honey waffle. The only thing I would say is there was quite a lot of sauce on everything we got and this did kind of let the food down. But still five stars! The packaging was also really good quality and cute, and big portion sizes! We will return… 👹

I never write reviews however , after visiting Two Chicks it definitely deserved one ! The staff were lovely and so friendly, offering personal recommendations and just an overall all good vibe. The food is incredible and obviously freshly made, with so many options and really good value for money and just delicious! Will definitely be back.

Two chicks had amazing food and the drinks were well made. The customer service was great, food came in 7-10 mins, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Loved the open bar and kitchen, the chef looked like he was working really hard. Would definitely return. 10/10.

Two chicks had the most incredible food and amazing atmosphere. Not to mention how attentive and friendly the staff are. Hats off to the chefs who delivered some of the best fried chicken I’d ever eaten. Two chicks is a must try. 11/10 could not recommend more.
