Great place for buying plants and getting advice. The staff are extremely helpful and know their stuff. My last purchase was a tree fern. It looks beautiful and very reasonably priced. They have amazing, mature olive trees I would love to buy once I have saved up some money. They are huge! The staff have already said they would be happy to deliver and help lift it to its final destination. I would recommend Twigs Nursing. 👌

Brilliant wee nursery. Great selection of plants at the highest quality and good prices. Customer service is incredible. My purchases of plants and compost were placed in my car. You won’t get that anywhere else. I’ll definitely be back.

I went today with friends for a Christmas wreath making class. It was amazing. Excellent tuition, a warm coffee, and we were soon away making our wreaths with the plentiful fir and ivy and other foliage - all real, no plastic here. The moss covered rings were supplied ready to go. We could then decorate as we wished with fir cones, red crab apples, dried oranges, lemons, shiny gold berries to name but a few. The whole 2 hours was a lovely friendly relaxing experience, and all for £30. I cannot recommend this activity highly enough. In fact the nursery is lovely with healthy plants at reasonable prices. Came away with a gorgeous wreath for my door and the knowledge of how to use the ring next year. Thank you. We'll be back for sure

We bought our Christmas tree from here. It's a great shape and looks great. Twigs is a really interesting little place. There wasn't a huge amount to see but they had an interesting mix of different products. Plants, decorations, ornaments etc. A lot of the items I hadn't seen anywhere else. There's also a small van offering coffees.

Picked up some niiiiice Portuguese Laurel with me Ma here for a basement price thanks to informed advice from the sweet people, along with top drawer coffee and cake 😋...dropped the pots back when passing and got another free coffee...lovely independent place to visit, keep it real people 👊

Nice people working there helpful and polite. I will come back for sure. Not perfect not pretending to being posh or anything like that. Reason for 4 starts just reopen after lockdown and will take some time and effort to go back to normal.

This is such a great little nursery. Although I've not been there many times, they were super helpful in first lockdown and delivered an amazing selection plants to me, I did use them prior to the lockdown too. Recently I've ordered online to collect as well as popped in to browse and buy. I'm a convert to the amazing compost they sell! Really friendly, really helpful and I guess importantly, very well priced. Worth a visit.

Finally got round to going here on the weekend and i loved it. Lovely little place, nice potting sheds to look in and see things growing/propigating and i met the chickens 😁 Great prices on alot of the plants, especially my staghorn fern :) I also picked up some half price outside pots. Would deffo recommend! Cannot wait to go next summer. The owner was very nice and helpful. p.s. did not notice a coffee shop.

Quite unique and rural in character,; I quite enjoyed the surroundings offering a variety of shrubs, soft fruit plants, flower and ornamental plants to browse around and then taking a break in the little cafe to refresh oneself over a drink or a coffee and cake!!

Stopped off for s coffee as we were trying to find a decent coffee in the area. Lloyd the owner and barista has selected the best beans available in the country, the best styles and brands of milk and makes s perfect flat white. The environment and feeling in the cafe, next to nature if perfect. Well worth the visit if you appreciate coffee.

On a recent visit for some plants for the garden, we decided to have a cuppa, nice place, good selection of food, good value, nice ambience.

Although most garden centres have a coffee shop, Twigs is a notch above most. Not only is it a fully fledged nursery, selling many self propagated plants, but it is worth visiting for the coffee shop alone.

We popped in at the end of the day for a coffee and were delighted! A beautiful setting with wonderful, scented roses blooming. Quirky little cafe in a greenhouse, serving excellent coffee. Very friendly service and just the perfect place to de-stress - a world away from the dull, identikit chain garden centres.

I stopped off here on a bike ride today, they make great coffee and the brownie was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend this place!

We visited Twigs when we moved to the area last autumn, we wanted a fruit tree so popped in, we were very happy to see a real good selection of different size and variety of apple trees. We liked one that just grew up a stem and asked the owner about how to look after it, he was just so helpful and friendly and told us so much information that we purchased it happy in the knowledge that we had bought It from somebody who clearly cared. We have just made another visit, this time in the search for a real proper Christmas tree, having searched what seemed like nearly all of Northamptonshire and failing to find anything but non-drop ones Twigs had them, beautiful fresh ones that look and smell wonderful and at a very good price. The two guys there were so helpful and friendly asking us what we were going to put the tree into, sand or water so that they could help with providing info on how to make it last and then cutting the bottom off for us too, Next year we know where our one and only port of call will be although I am sure we will be there several times before that too :) Thank you lads, you have made this lady VERY happy.

We drive past this nursery regularly on our way to see family and have always meant to stop. Well, finally we did and what a lovely charming place it is! Lovely well looked after plants and the quirky little café in the greenhouse is just perfect. It will be a regular stop on our journey from now on :-)

I needed help to replant a shady area of my small garden in Milton Keynes. From the owner of Twigs I received good advice and a lot of personal attention. At no point was he pushy or over-zealous. We eventually bought several plants, all of which are just right for what we wanted, mostly previously unknown to us, and all thriving. We're looking forward to returning for more.

My father and I have been going here for the last 2/3 years since the new owners took over. The plants are of a good quality and the owners really try to help. We both love the coffee shop in the greenhouse. Great place for a coffee and cake!

Excellent knowledge and advice, picked up some well priced plants. Enjoyed coffee and cake in the quirky greenhouse cafe. Will definitely be back. Its nice to support a deserving local business.

Recently reopened, small but large selection of garden trees and flowers, staff are personal and if the owner is around you are able to ask questions and get great answer. A little coffee shop.

A charming place to have a really good, propper cup of coffee. Great quality rather than quantity, there's a small choice of cake, too, plus your in a local independent garden centre. Perfect. Come Spring and Summer I shall look forward to having coffee there before buying plants. Fab

A good garden centre without ( for me anyway) unnecessary extras. The couple who are managing the nursery are extremely knowledgeable,helpful and pleasant. This is my favourite garden centre.

The nursery is very good and on a recent visit I decided to sample the cafe - set in a greenhouse, had a great coffee, will I go back, yes if at the nursery.

Coffee in a greenhouse surrounded by gorgeous flowers - what more could you want? I pulled into this nursery on a whim while driving past. The garden centre looked good too, but I was there for the cafe. The setting is just beautiful. I spend a happy hour reading my book, drinking coffee and eating cake. The service was friendly, the cake (carrot and orange) delicious. The coffee could have been a bit better (I had a mocha and it was a bit on the cold side and I could barely taste the coffee) however the whole experience was great and I will definitely be back!

I spent a very happy hour walking around the garden centre delicious coffee in hand looking at wonderfully healthy plants. The experience made even better by the very friendly and knowledgeable couple who were on hand to offer welcome advice. Will definitely make it my garden centre of choice .
