I saw the name of the restaurant from afar and went with my intuition that it must be something special and I was right. In an exotic setting, we were welcomed by the friendly host. Together with my family, we spent few relaxing and fun-filled hours in this unique place. The food was very good and they have a very rich variety of drinks. Thanks to the owner, a special lady! I heartily recommend this place!

Wandered in on a whim and spent a happy hour or so relaxing and chatting over drinks and tapas. Friendly place, fascinating decor and great local knowledge. Looks like there are some interesting events hosted here as well which I will be checking out.

What a delightful quirky place this is. We had lovely tapas, drinks and cocktails. The atmosphere is relaxing, we diddnt feel rushed. The people who own it are very welcoming and we chatted for ages over the history and artifacts which was really interesting. Certainly worth a visit and we would most definitely go back again.

We’ve just left this place after a lovely lunch. The food was exceptional and what a great team / service. The couple who own this place are so charming and welcoming. We had the Egyptian flat breads and they were unbelievably cheap for the size and quality of them. We are stuffed. We will definitely be back.

4 adults and a dog went in to warm up while visiting the Christmas Market. Although busy and lunchtime, we were quickly seated. We just wanted hot drinks and snacks. All provided and enjoyed. The surroundings and artifacts are Egypt-themed and some other countries. The menu is extensive and has sensible prices. I agree with lots of other reviews on here

Called for a lunchtime sandwich and drink and were surprised by the history and artefacts of the place. The link to Howard Carter, a man of Swaffham, and the Tutankhamun story was enhanced by Steve's enthusiasm, historical knowledge and the family relationship. The sandwiches were excellent.

As we arrived we were made very welcome and shown to our table. We ordered our drinks and our food order was taken. The decor was very interesting and authentic. The owner has a gift for painting which you can purchase from him or you can even commission him to do a personal painting for you. Very relaxing atmosphere with excellent choice of music. We had a lovely evening with our friends. Michael and Susan

Arrived and seated promptly and that was the only efficient aspect if the evening. Served by a waitress who had little understanding of drinks we requested, hence when they arrived had to ask for ice and they had no garnish! Ordered food but starters were bland withittle taste and when mains arrived the same occurred as no taste and the service stopped. Therefore would not visit as Ford was poor and service was not much better.

Four of us dropped in for tea and cake on impulse. The decor is original, stunning and lends a very calm and fascinating background. The atmosphere is great and the slices of cake huge! There are also paintings for sale.

Very disappointing. Need to purchase a proper coffee machine, decent chairs and tables and better facilities for cooking. Three of us ordered toasted teacakes and they came one at a time in large intervals, consequently we assumed they only have a domestic toaster!

Walked in Sunday afternoon with no booking, staff were so accommodating and friendly, made sure food was available and offered us a table. The food was amazing! Huge Yorkshire puddings, plenty of vegetables and vegetarian options available too. Will definitely be returning.
