Good food service is good. The atmosphere is suitable and there are plenty of options. We're with our family today and it's very harassing. Holder! Bv

Worst dinning experience in Belfast. Serving staff were quite pleasant however, our main course was cold and had to be sent back. When it returned 15 minutes later it was even colder. Our evening was spoilt by what appeared to be the managements children who used the restaurant as a playground, much to the embarrassment of the waitress. Please do not use the toilet it was filthy.

When we walked in we were the only people there however we didn't get a particularly warm welcome. We were hopeful after we got asked for our order in just a few minutes and ordering was simple enough. However, we felt a bit disappointed when our kids (9,11 and 13) weren't allowed to do the 5 rounds of 3 meals for half price because they were not under 4 foot (remember we are the only ones in the restaurant.) I believe that there should be a different offer for children as there is no way our kids (over 4 foot) could stomach the full adult price for 15 meals of sushi. The food came really quickly and was lovely, it tasted very fresh and clean. Our 3 kids ordered their own meals from the a la carts menu, but we though as part of our 5 rounds of 3 things it would be nice to share some with the kids too so when the next round came along we handed out a few pieces to everyone as our kids are not too experienced with proper Japanese cuisine. However the waitress then swiftly came over to stop us and wouldn't allow us to share our food. Normally as a family we would share around the food to try a bit of everything however we apparently couldn't do this here. As we were eating, we also felt like we were constantly being watched and this intimidated us a bit. We did continue to share our food and no further problems occurred. The food was extremely nice and fresh and also extremely good value as it was only £16.90 for the 5 rounds of 3 meals in the months of July and August (usually £25). Overall it has very nice food but we felt a bit intimidated throughout. Would recommend though!

The restaurant is conveniently located a couple of blocks from City Centre. It is located across the street from the “Big Fish.” There was no air conditioning but there was a beautiful cool breeze from the waterfront. I had a great combo and they are offering 5 course meals during the months of July and August for $16/person. The atmosphere is dressy Asian and most people were wearing business-casual dress. The staff was pleasant and quick to provide good service. I plan to take my husband and friends back during our 2 week visit in Belfast.

A little monochrome oasis of cool in a surprising location, near lots of Belfast landmarks. We went for lunch and were seated immediately by the lovely waitress who recommended sake (yum yum) and also helped us choose our sushi. You could eat until you exploded if you wanted - I only managed three rounds and you can order up to eighteen (I think). Northern Ireland needs more places like this, I had a lovely time and I can't wait to go back again :)

Ate here on saturday. Just one girl serving and she did an excellent job as there were quite a few in. Food was good but I must agree with previous reviews that the place was freezing, no heat on. I eventually had to put my coat back on. Because of this I wouldnt return.

We went on a Tuesday night and the place was about half full. We were seated quickly and had our orders taken. The food came pretty quickly and was very nice when it arrived. The tempura prawn sushi was particularly good, very fresh with the prawn still warm inside. The other goyozas, ribs etc were very good too. Will be back

First impression, its cold and quiet. You need to sit with your jackets on because temperature inside is the same as outside. There is "music" playing, like on a phone, random sounds, piano, pop or just silence for 10mins...very awkward atmosphere when there is just 2tables,and restaurant in complete silence. Sushi is pretty meh and bland. Deep fried food is bland and has a lot of breading. Very slow service. There were 3other tables when we arrived, took about 20mins just to get 2 peace of salmon. Some orders that we placed did not even arrived. Stayed nearly 2hours. After eating sushi, we waited for about 15mins just to get two scoops of icecream. Had 2for1 deal so it was okay, but definitely not worth £50 for what we got if it wouldn't be promotional offer.

My partner and I went out with two friends here for dinner on a Friday night for the all you can eat sushi dinner. To be seated we went straight upstairs as there was no one downstairs at the time. The staff were friendly and showed us how to work the tablet ordering system. We all ordered multiple dishes to share round us and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, and it was very tasty. We ordered multiple times for our allotted time and had our fill of sushi, ribs, noodles and beef. It is a good way of ordering so that you don’t waste food you may over order on. We went in for the half price all you can eat sushi they have as an opening offer, which is extremely good value for money (£12.50 per person), but even if it was full price (£25), I believe that this would still be very good value for money. Will certainly be back again and would recommend going here.

My friends and I visited Turu yesterday for their all you can eat sushi buffet for lunch. The staff were lovely, albeit a little disorganised - the woman who was serving us explained how the tablet menus worked and were absolutely friendly and chatty the whole time we were seated. The buffet menu is very extensive, with a range of sushi plates, gyoza, salads, and hot plate choices - the sushi itself tasted fantastic. I've been to a few Japanese restaurants before where tablets have been used to place orders, and it's a super idea, however the way they explained the "max 3 items per person per table" scenario was a little confusing - the way the woman explained it to us, we weren't sure whether the entire table could order 3 places every 15 minutes, or 3 plates each every 15 minutes. There were a few dishes we ordered that did not arrive, however (shop was not long open for lunch that day so it was by no means busy, but I'm aware it is a new establishment and things happen). Definitely would recommend for an enjoyable Asian style lunch or dinner in Belfast, and the price is fair for what you are paying for (I believe the evening buffet has a larger menu than the lunch)

As we entered the restaurant it was freezing cold but since we were there already we decided to stay with our coats on . The place being very clean is the only merit I could afford . The order was taken after 15 minutes while over the course of 1 hour different dishes began to appear leaving most of my guests unable to eat together . Most off the vegetarian dishes came out wrong and had shelled fish included into the cooking leaving the waiting staff wondering why it was not suitable for some of my guests consumption. Several other dishes came out wrong leaving long gaps within our visit. By the time my daughter was eating her desert another family member still had not received their mains. Several Asian customers were given priority over everybody and to the annoyance of most paying customers . Other diners left at the lack of attention some crying out for water several timesleaving one party to demand drinks or they would simply walk out . The food is paltry , small portioned and generally mediocre and overpriced as per portion . This restaurant is advertised as Japaneese but very clearly run and managed by non Japaeese staff masquerading with cultural pretensiousness giving the impression that their cuisine is authentic which it is not . They are not rude , but merely incompetent and have little understanding of Japaneese sushi and Japaneese cuisine and most of all customer attention. We paid the bill still feeling cold and miserable while no apologies for the severe lack of service was forthcoming . Could never go back as I'm sure others would not who were also feeling cheated and disapointed around us . There are seriously much better sushi restaurants in Belfast offering a more enjoyable culinary experience . .
