Unaware of service charge, I'd already tipped the waitress.

Had a nice meal with my family in the Teppanyaki restaurant. We were looked after by Dion, the food and the service were great. Unfortunately a couple of the items we tried to order (pok choi and garlic diced potatoes) weren't available, and the card machine wasn't working. Hopefully that isn't usual, but the only reason I could mark there review down.

We came here for a business dinner with clients, very fun experience. Food was solid. It’s good, and the staff were very friendly. The Teppanyaki was ok, we noticed some chefs seemed to be more skilled than others, perhaps due to seniority. But it’s something unique in Belfast and definitely worth a visit for a meal with friends, partners or business.

Pedimos desde el menú establecido y luego vimos a otras personas pedir el menú que vimos en la página web, esto fue muy engañoso. El aperitivo era sopa o ensalada, probamos la sopa y estaba tan mal. Mi marido se tomó uno bocado y no pudo comer más. Pedimos la ensalada en su lugar, era un plato de lechuga iceberg y pepino con un pequeño chorrito de algún tipo de salsa. ¡Muy mal! El plato principal estaba bien, pero el entretenimiento del chef era bastante básico. Pedimos un poco de agua, tenemos 2 vasos de agua a temperatura ambiente, sin hielo. El personal desechó comida de los platos en el contenedor al lado de donde estábamos sentados, también secaron cubiertos al lado de donde la gente estaba sentada, etc., era un estándar muy pobre. También había un cargo por servicio en la factura que no se nos aconsejó y asumimos que el "entretenimiento" ya estaba en el precio. Muy muy decepcionante y no volvería. 2 / 5 .

The food here is first rate, I loved it and cooked in front of you with a bit of fun and lots of skill. The service was great right from the door coming in to the door leaving.

Myself and my friend went here for dinner on a Sunday evening. We arrived around 5pm and stood at the bar on the ground floor for several minutes without seeing anyone other than a frustrated looking Deliveroo driver. There was no customers and no staff to be seen. Very very poor service! When we were eventually greeted we sat down and the place was freezing. Drinks order was taken and served at a normal rate, but our food took ages! During this time I tried to find a member of staff to ask for directions to the bathroom as the one on the ground floor was out of service, but again, there was not a single member of staff anywhere to be seen. My friend and I appeared to be the only people in the restaurant. We ordered when our drinks arrived, at the same time. However, my meal (we each ordered a main only) arrived 8-10 minutes before my friend. I had to keep my coat on and the room was so cold you could see the steam rising off the plates, when both our meals eventually arrived. The food itself was enjoyable, (however we were starving by the time both meals arrived). It was not much better than my usual Chinese takeaway which is half the price. Overall, there was an uncomfortable atmosphere and it was overpriced for the quality of the food and poor customer service. I am very disappointed because the concept is great, we came in after hearing positive reviews and it looks appealing from the outside.

Hello. I have never published my opinion on the quality of food, but I finally had the courage to do so after the crap I got from this place... everything was dry, as if it came from a front yard... I couldn't eat it, which is a pity. Regards

Silvia was an amazing host to our party of eight. Jonas kept us entertained while cooking six different meats/meals. Everything was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend the duck and lobster

i’ve actually never been more disappointed in my life, hungover and tired all a girl wants is a big chinese to scran on the sofa. ordered from uber eats and got the munchie box thingy and a portion of the noodles, opened the noodles and fair enough they were actually pretty good so hopes were high for the rest of the meal. however. i opened the box to find stale hard cold chips ( i can excuse a cold chip), the spring rolls looked and tasted like they were found rolling around under a table and then reheated, the salted chilli chicken was upsettingly bad and dry and just overall ew, the ribs were unbelievably dry and like no meat??? chicken wings were bang average and a little slimy, the rice was mushy, like really really mushy, and the chicken curry was like if you got the driest chicken in the world and then made it drier and threw it in some lumpy curry. also came with two cans of drink but didn’t get to choose what they were? got diet coke and fanta so not awful but still. 10/10 so bad and now i have to actually make myself dinner.

Genuinely cant tell if the restaurant and takeaway are the same, as they seem to be on complete opposite of the spectrum. Ive never been to the restaurant or ordered from here before, but seeing photographs, videos etc of dishes and environment I had my hopes up. We ordered the Mega box which is meant to feed 3 people, which i couldnt imagine, but its easy not to as its all inedible. Everything arrived pretty much cold (uber eats issue), the chicken curry is pretty much curry with a side of rubber, the chips are so overcooked and stale, the spring roles looked awful, the “ribs” look like vertebrae, although i imagine they would probably have more meat than what we received, the wings were slimey, the salted chilli chicken is dry, packet of birds eye nuggets tossed in some spice wouldve been miles better. The rice is mush. Overall completely inedible and I would rather eat anything else. Avoid even if it was free. DIS CUS TANG never had food so bad that ive had to take the time to sit down and write a review.

Food was tasty, but service was not great. Didn’t bring all the starters at once, had to remind them to bring the miso soup which was served in a plastic bowl with a plastic spoon. The teppanyaki was a nice spectacle but my lamb was a bit stringy, my wife’s sea bass was good though. When paying they said it was cash only, because their machine had dodgy Wi-Fi connection. We said who carries over £120 in cash around with them?! Turns out the card machine did work after insisting on using it. I’d go again but probably not for a long time.

Never order from here. No. Meat on ribs honestly the food looks uneatable. Binned right away cost me 18 pound but thankfully got a full refund. Most disgusting looking food I’ve ever seen ever.

Don't know if this is due to new management but in its current state, the bottom floor restaurant should be avoided. Been to the Teppanyaki before and everyone loves it but this time we went to the Chinese and it was pretty awful in every way imaginable. Insanely long waiting times for food, only one woman working the tills, clearing and serving tables (she was doing her best and it's not her fault). The food was nothing better than an average Chinese takeaway but was from their Christmas set menu which cost over £30 per person. This price plus the service charge on top is ludicrous considering the totally mid food and nonexistent service. We were told this was the only menu available downstairs and so had no choice but to order from it, although later into our meal a couple sat beside us seemingly with a full menu to choose from, don't know what that was about. It's a shame that all the attention and effort seems to be put in at the teppanyaki section, while downstairs is left as an afterthought where you essentially sit in the reception area with delivery drivers coming in and out to collect orders while listening to the people upstairs laughing and having a good time. Felt like I was locked on the bottom deck of the Titanic. Hopefully they sort this out, but avoid for now.

Ordered duck fried rice and got only chewy fat tiny pieces of duck, I think you should get proper cuts of meat if you are spending 10 on a meal. A very shallow box of rice with the tiniest fat pieces of duck barely any meat.

The sushi platter is pretty nice and tasty! I don't really like their pre-set Christmas meal (soup from it is very peppery btw), but I'm happy they let us order sushi just! Definitely coming back!

Honestly, one of the best meals I've ever had, the rice was wonderful, the chicken, especially the sauce, the sushi, the eighth wonder of Duplins, divine! In other words, for me, everything was wonderful, perfect. If I had a score of 1000, I would give it, for free, it was like that. One day I want to go to the restaurant. I liked everything. Service, food, drinks and, above all, a great show from the chef. It was tasty and fun. I ordered sushi 🍣 and teyraki chicken - they were very tasty. I definitely recommend visiting this place 🍹🧑🏽‍🍳🔥

¡Absolutamente increíble! La comida era fabulosa. El precio era increíble ( 2 x set menú de 3 platos con actualización de langosta, una botella de Shiraz y una coca-cola £ 114 ) El chef de Teppanyaki estaba bien (no es el mejor que hemos visto), pero realmente bueno para un lunes por la noche con invitados más bajos de lo que me imagino que tendrían en un fin de semana. ¡Muy recomendable!

Loved the chicken Teriyaki sushi

Ordered honey chilli chicken takeaway using Uber eats app. The most disgusting dish I had ever had. The chicken coating was completely soggy and submerged in the gravy. Chicken tasted stale and old. Absolutely disappointed and regret ordering from here.

We stayed on the ground floor level and settled on the chinese menu. Food was amazing, crispy duck starter, sizzling teriyaki steak main and ice cream to follow. Even though two coach loads arrived shortly after our starter, service was swift and perfectly executed. Our host was courteous, and very helpful explaining the food and drinks menu. We were only here for a weekend break but would definitely come here again during a future visit. Top marks.

Elegimos en el menú de configuración. . 3 platos por £ 34. ¡50... lo cual me pareció razonable! El licor de café por un extra de £ 2. 50 fue el dulce perfecto para después.

food okay but absolutely no service

The chairs weren't comfortable to sit on . The early bokkers has to wait for the dinner until the entire bay is filled, so I feel it's too pricey for that level.

Seis amigos visitaron 3 niveles en una noche de sábado. ¡Elegimos la opción china ya que pensamos que sería más sociable que el nivel Teppanyaki! Por divertido que pareciera ese nivel queríamos ponernos al día y no distraernos con la cocina en vivo, etc. El área china es más pequeña de lo esperado y un ambiente muy abrumador. Solo unas pocas mesas en una zona muy pequeña del restaurante. Muy básico. La comida sin embargo era deliciosa. Muy sabroso y parecía auténtico. ¡Muchas opciones para elegir! Un poco más caro de lo que esperábamos, pero las porciones eran buenas! Servicio lento, pero esto no nos molestó en absoluto, ya que estábamos allí para ponerse al día con los amigos.

I wish it were possible to leave minus stars. The takeaway I ordered came as a sloppy, greasy mess... I don't understand how our chicken was raw and burnt at the same time ?? It has actually put me in a bad mood all week every time i think of it, so I felt compelled to leave a review so that others avoid this mistake. £30 down the drain, wish I had've just donated it to charity

Great food, served by a great chef , right at the table

When you walk in the door you are given a very friendly welcome the personnel on the ground floor. I ate Tepenyaki on the top floor. The experience was one of "theatre dining." The waiter was nice, the chef was really really friendly and nice. The raw food looked nice and clean, watching it cook was fun. I had duck tepenyaki and it was delicious. Price is reasonable too. Hanging out at this place and having a couple of drinks after dinner would make for a really nice evening.

I ordered delivery from this place and it took them 2 hours and 15 minutes to deliver my small order, when it is 10 minutes drive from my address and it said it would be a maximum of 50 minutes online. Terrible service, excruciatingly slow and no apology whatsoever about how much of my time they wasted. They totally forgot about my order and I had to call them and chase it up after TWO HOURS waiting and they had no clue about it. The man on the phone was completely bewildered and kept asking me if I even ordered it from Deliveroo, as if they didn't have their restaurant on their app. I offered to give them my order number and explained I had already been waiting for two hours but he hurriedly discovered my order was "ready" they just hadn't been bothered to deliver it that whole time. He then said it would be the first one they would deliver next, and it would take a maximum of 15 minutes, cut to half an hour later and it finally arrived. The worst part is after all this effort, time wasted, and stress the food itself was abysmal. It arrived in two crappy plastic boxes with tiny portions and the tuna smelled so strongly of rotten fish, I binned it. The octopus was hard and tough as if i was eating literal rubber, meaning it was way overcooked and probably a week old. The salmon sashimi had bones in it, literally bones? and the soy sauce had spilled in the bottom of the plastic bag around the boxes. I will never, ever, order from this place again, and I wish I could get my money back, which believe me was not a small amount and was definitely not worth the standard that I received. AVOID.

Wasn't the greatest and overly expensive for what was a wee bit of theatre cooking at the start. Food lacked any flavour at all regardless of whether it was chicken, beef or seafood. Glad I went in that I can say I tried it however will not be back nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

Awesome. From the service, to the show, to the food. Everything was too notch. Will definitely be back. We had the beef rolls, duck rolls & chicken gyozas for starters then we had the sirloin steak. 🤤

We have visited 3 levels a couple of occasions. On my birthday and a friend’s birthday. Both times have been amazing service. From door to table, and the experience given by the chef’s is amazing. They put on a great performance and interact with you as much as you’re willing. The food was very nice too. Steaks, lobster all cooked perfectly.

It is my first day in 3 level restaurants . I was very fantastic and so much fun . The chefs was funny and he said it was his 2 weeks there.The food is very delicio And perfect. The atmosphere was very great and the waitress are very friendly.

This was a fun date night out with friends but it’s definitely more style over substance. The set menu isn’t particularly good value . Starter of salad was a mixed bag of leaves. The gyoza etc were all frozen/ then deep fried and multiple plates out at once on the bench so weren’t overly warm. The main course theatrics were good and our chef was good fun. All the main course options seemed to be cooked in the same teriyaki sauce. But one thing it was nice to be able to see your food being prepared right in front of you. And the meats that were served did appear to be good quality. I had the vegetarian option which included deep fried breaded tofu. I didn’t eat the tofu it was awful but the veg was nice No offer or option of desserts ? The place overall was very loud and we were unable to hear each other’s conversation. Quick turn around as well on tables so you can’t sit on. Would I go back ? No would I recommend no probably not for a romantic meal or nice dinner out with friends. For a hen or stag do or big loud party it’s ideal .

If I could give this place 0 stars I would absolutely diabolical food. Looks like something made in a lab ATROCIOUS. I think it’s exposed me to radiation it’s that bad I’ve seen dog food more appealing matter of fact I wouldn’t feed it to a dog

My favourite restaurant in Belfast! Food is fresh and delicious. Chef who cooked for us was so funny and made us laugh a lot doing his tricks with spatulas and eggs. That was definitely a great and fun night! Would highly recommend if you want to try something special and different than other restaurants.

Absolutely disgusting the filth they have sent me was absolutely disgraceful. I am outraged and they proceeded to block my missus off facebook when she posted about it. Horrific I am actually terrified of getting a Chinese like that. I am now a vegetarian.

If you're looking for a quiet nice dinner... Do not go here. It used to be very good but they downsized the menu and they are only really taking the Chinese tour groups that come in one after another. They got my table wrong, then moved us in the corner and took our order wrong, food came late and even got my child's meal wrong. They don't have a kids menu... We just had the drinks and starters and left... We will not be back!! I'll give credit to the nice man at the front of house down on the ground floor. He's always been very nice. The other staff are asleep.

Definitely a bit of theatre dining here. Was here in a large group so they were definitely putting on a show (I'm not sure if it would be quite the same in a couple!) The food is OK, but it's definitely more about the experience - the classic crispy starters were quite tasty. However, I had the sirloin which was a little lacking in accompanying veg and sauce so it was a little dry... and made me wish I'd chosen the lamb or chicken, that others around me had picked, which had a lot more than just the meat.

AMAZING! We booked for a hen group of 20 and we were all sat together around the table, constantly being looked after with drinks and service. The food was great, there was something for everyone and the group menu offered a great selection (a lot of places this is not the case) so we felt spoilt for choice. Everyone left feeling full and well looked after. Great atmosphere with the chefs cooking and getting everyone involved including the Bride to be ! it really did add to our very special weekend! Highly recommend - 5 stars all the way!

I am extremely disappointed with the food; its quality is absolutely abysmal. The sweet and sour chicken was unusually bright, and the ribs were merely bones with no trace of meat on them. To be honest, I am utterly shocked by this place.

We booked dinner for 2 around the hibachi station on the third floor and it was delicious. Good quality ingredients, cooked well (I had medium rare sirloin and it was exactly as I'd hoped) and a nice atmosphere. Will be back

The salmon rolls had horrible looking fish that stank as soon as I opened the box. I thought I could eat the edamame beans, but opened one and it was brown and smelly inside. The gyozas were kind of edible - but for some reason came soaked in sweet chilli sauce. Usually don't write reviews but would not recommend.

Very disappointed. We were on the top level and it was cold and empty. We picked from set menu which was over priced for what we got. Salad was a bit of shredded lettuce with 4 slices of cucumber. Some of the starter was cold. I ordered lamb with spring onions, bell pepper, mint and ginger.....it had no mint or ginger. One of out party had finished their dinner before the rest of us go theirs. Also deserts are extra too. Very over priced for what we got and definetely didnt feel full.As for paying they over charged our drinks by nearly a £1 each, added an extra £10 for no reason and a service charge of £35. When we queried the bill they claimed they couldn't understand us even though the gentleman spoke to us in perfect English beforehand. Such a shame as it could be a brilliant place / experience for eating out.

Fabulous experience and food.. staff very helpful and met some lovely people along the way! There is a choice of Chinese or Japanese (Teppanyaki). Would highly recommend the Japanese experience. Set price for soup, starter and main, which is cooked for you at your table.

The food is very very good, the show is good too and they provide very good service, although the chairs in the sitting area (where the show is) are too close to each other, probably 2 chairs less would be better.

Booked the cooking experience here but they seemed a bit put out when we arrived and told us take a seat and your table will be ready in 20 mins...Sat in a quite cold area of second floor waiting to go upstairs, after about 15 mins waiter came and said 'Were gonna open up this area!' and set us a place on that level....it was cold and empty and essentially like eating in a closed restaurant...I get they messed up our booking but what annoyed was this was not acknowledged and could have easily been resolved by comping a few drinks or something but not keep going and pretending everything is normal when it obviously wasn't.....I will give the one star for the food which was very good, shame they messed up the service so much!😒

We booked for 7 PM for two people for the live cooking experience but were frustrated when told upon arrival that we couldn't attend due to an unexpected increase in another customer's party. We had to purchase additional drinks, expecting to be brought to the area we booked. However, we were later informed that we would be placed in a different area where no live cooking took place and was completely empty. No apology or attempt to rectify the situation was made; instead, they played dumb as if we had just walked in. The soy sauce was served in a small container, forcing us to share and dip our sushi into the same container, unlike other Japanese restaurants that provide a soy sauce bottle. In spite of all that, we were still charged the 10% service charge. A really poor service/organizational experience; we do not recommend this place. For 80 POUNDS, you could get a much better experience and better service in other places in Belfast.

Description also stated it would come with garlic butter chips, but chips were plain. Food was late and I asked for a text update from JustEat, but restaurant did not text. Terrible service overall.

Fantastic place! The cool chef did a show, and we were very entertained. The food was delicious, I personally was very impressed with the vegetarian duck, and with the starters. I wish the miso soup was vegan (or an available option to make it so) but unfortunately they use fish stock in it. Nonetheless, we will come again when we are in Belfast again.

Ordered takeaway from the Chinese restaurant - Chicken Satay, Salt and Chilli chicken and sides. Food was poor; the Chicken satay had battered chicken in it instead of chicken breast and the salted chilli chicken was tough and stodgy. Have previously ordered really good quality food from here but based on the last order, won’t be back

Our family of 5 adults had a wonderful selection of Chinese food served by a friendly, attentive waiter.Food was sizzling hot, tasty and delicious.We will definitely be back!There was a level that served Japanese food but we did not sample this …on this occasion!!

Food was cold but was nice when reheated

Worst tap en yaki I have ever experienced! It was over sold so too many customers for them to handle, it was chaotic and stressful. The only cooking on the grill was a piece of meat! Everything else was just warmed up behind the counter, which isn't what tap en yaki is about! "Asian salad" was a small saucer with some lettuce and carrot on! What was Asian about that! No skill and poor quality!! Value for money was apauling! Cheap food so over priced! It was worth around £10 each but cost us £45 each! Feel like it was a rip off! Would never go here again!
