Turtle Bay York in York

Turtle bay is my all time favourite place for a bottomless brunch, so when coming ti York for a few drinks this felt like a must! And the service and vibes were incredible, it was so chill and Arwen was an amazing server!!

Arrived early but was given a table, great stuff, Florence was an excellent waitress, very lovely person, BUT was told table was needed 20 minutes before our 2 hr slot had ended. When queried, was asked to sit in the bar to have another drink - no seating in the bar apart from 2 bar stools and lots of tables were empty with dirty glasses piled up on them. When we left 20 minutes later our table was still empty! Terrible management Turtle Bay York - not a patch on the Leeds branch.

Food was really nice just needs to come with fries or something.

Freya was super attentive and friendly and we never had empty glasses before she came to take another drinks order. The cocktails made by Zarah were fab - great quality not the cheap, diluted, synthetic versions you sometimes get with a bottomless brunch or drinks offers. Highly recommend.

Very large restaurant. Very noisy but not in a bad way. Toilets up 2 flights of stairs. Good selection of food and drinks. Centrally located.

We decided cocktails would be nice after a hard day Christmas shopping. We ended up in Turtle Bay. At first we thought the interior was quirky and nice. Friendly enough welcome and plenty of tables to choose from. No one came to serve so I went to the bar and ordered two mojitos on the 241 deal costing £10. So without the deal each mojitos cost £10! The Barman was border line rude. The mojitos were appalling. Tasted very strange, almost like plastic with very little actual drink. Dreadful for £5 let alone £10. Don’t go. We won’t be back.

‘Big snaps’ to Emma and Bee for making our bottomless brunch wonderful. Friendly and efficient the pair really looked after us. The food was top notch and would definitely recommend :)

Had the brown chicken and hubby had the goat curry. Both really nice. The portions aren't generous, but not too small either. Service staff were nice and friendly.
