Very average food- not sure what the hype is all about. We got a lot of bits to share and everything was underwhelming and without much flavour. Cocktails ok. Wouldn’t recommend!

We have just had our first Turtle Bay experience. We have tried foods from many parts of The World but Caribbean food has been sadly missing until this evening, But with support from Liz we discovered a new world of rums and some very tasty food. It might have been a quiet Monday evening but we had a lovely evening. We ate well, drank well and had fine music in the back ground. Shame Turtle Bay has not reached rural Oxfordshire. Went for bunch with 4 friends and was really looking forward to the bottomless brunch. Unfortunately. The afternoon was not smooth running . Firstly the bottomless brunch only started 25 minutes late as it was very busy with limited staff waiting on . The reason why it was so late starting was due to the waitress being 10 minutes late to take the first order And then the drinks took 15 minutes to be made all the waitresses had to be called over several times to take orders . And the wait for drinks was over 20 minutes when ordered.. we only had 4 drinks in the 2 hour period .. which was very disappointing 😞 The food was good quality - but the menu us very confusing.. normally you'd expect fries when you order a burger from a restaurant. But on the bottomless brunch you just get a burger .. no advice from the waitress to tell you to add sides out of courtesy.. very disappointing 😞 Staff very rude and disrespectful.. not very friendly or accommodating.. seemed fo be very busy snd understaffed . Such a shame as I have had lovely meals and drinks in here before Complaint was made to manager. But unfortunately he didn't seem too bothered 😕 The waitresses were very busy and it's obvious that they are stressed and understaffed. If these issues were sorted I think the experience would be better

Below standard service. We visited on a Saturday evening. Our server was quite abrupt and more interested in speaking with her friends who were sat on a table close by. Had to call someone else over to take a drinks order. Starter and kids meals were brought out together, then the kids desert and still no mains for the adults. Place was untidy with tables left with plates and glasses. Kids went to the bathroom which was covered in sick. We couldn’t get the attention of anyone for ages to let them know, despite standing beside a server for a few mins. They were too busy having the chats between themselves. Food was good despite the wait. The crap service would just leave you so disappointed.

Fantastic crew, nice people. The friendly staff gave us the feeling of a family atmosphere. Good food, nice ambience. I recommend it to everyone. And we will definitely be back.

I visited turtle bay in Salford quays for New years Eve. Service was brilliant to begin with and food was nice. Until I finished my main. My partner still wasn’t finished and was taking a break, the male waiter who was serving us was very quick at taking our plates which caused a knife covered in sauce to land all over his fresh white t-shirt which resulted in a bad stain. The waiter offered us some damp blue roll and as he walked into the kitchen we saw him laughing about the incident with a female colleague which then proceeded to stare at us. This made us both feel uncomfortable and the service after this went downhill and felt very rushed with us only having one further cocktail with our bottomless deal which had not ran out yet. We were planning on staying to see the new year in but didn’t feel like it after this and swiftly paid the bill and left to which no apology was made about my ruined t shirt and no one asked if we enjoyed our night. I know mistakes happen but I wasn’t happy with the way it was dealt with and then being laughed at by staff.

Didn't realise this was here, we were initially going to Nando's. Food was really nice(much nicer than town), piping hot and didn't have to wait long. Staff were really nice, helpful and pleasant. I misread the menu (forgot my glasses sses) and ordered the jerk chicken breast instead of half chicken. The staff were very accommodating and reordered me a half chicken - lovely! Will definitely be going back 😁

Looked forward to having the brunch. Went in at 10am when they opened only to be told food wasn’t being put through till 10.30am. Really disappointing.

We came two days in a row, it was amazing. Flavours , textures all of that remind me of my Island which is Guadeloupe

Went for bottomless brunch. Amazing atmosphere, our waiter couldn’t have done enough for us. Well worth the money. Food was spot on and cocktails were great. Will definitely be going back.

The food was amazing I got the Vegan Jerk Chicken it was delightful with the garlic flat bread and plantain! It was topped off with amazing service from Ivana who provided top tier service and made us feel so welcome with a big smile on her face! I would recommend this place to anyone!

This was our first ever visit to Turtle Bay. We visit The Lowry regularly, but usually book in at Nando's or Café Rouge out of habit ... not any more! This week, we decided to try out Turtle Bay. To be honest, we'd never really noticed this restaurant before, but after having had a mediocre meal at Cafe Rouge the week before, we noticed on leaving just how popular the Turtle Bay restaurant next door was. So this week, we booked in for a pre-theatre meal. Our waitress was Maiya and she was lovely. My wife was torn between two vegetarian dishes, so asked Maiya her opinion. She recommended the Curry Jackfruit so my wife went with that, and absolutely loved it! I chose the Jerk Chicken Breast with spiced fries. Everything was so tasty and reasonably-priced. We can't wait to go back again!

brilliant menu and drinks choices. Went as family of teenage kids and all enjoyed the options. staff in particular were amazing. each of them were very polite, friendly and professional. nothing was too difficult and all had a smile.
