Alisha was excellent, highly recommend!

We went in for lunch today and had a lovely experience! All the staff were fantastic and the food was gorgeous!

Sam was a lovely server and made sure we had the best time, he looked after us and made sure we were all happy. Couldn’t ask for a better server.

Had a wonderful evening at Turtle Bay with amazing food and a few cheeky and interesting rum cocktails. Service was excellent..... firstly with super Sam (before his shift ended), and then the delightful Ailsa took over. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I'm sure the ambiance and atmosphere comes from the manager, Tam, who was a pleasure to talk to. See you all next time as we will be back!

Absolutely amazing. I had Connor as another bartender and he was absolutely amazing. So friendly, nice, funny, couldn’t do enough for me. He also made amazing cocktails for myself and gave a fantastic all round experience.

Service was so slow we waited an hour to be served and it was full and or busy... very disappointed 😞

I met a friend after a long while. Initially, I was just planning a casual half-hour meet-up, but we ended up staying for hours because the vibe was incredible! Rowan made the most amazing drinks, Ailsa was so attentive and made us feel right at home, and Conor even took the time to check on us and ensure everything was perfect. It’s definitely worth a visit and I recommend coming to turtle bay with friends and family.

Elsa and Darcy have been really nice and friendly. Good conversation and good service. Would highly recommend.

Had a goat curry and could barely chew the goat meat. Food was served before the drinks. Not impressed - not sure why it’s always so busy.

drinks were ok. Turtle bay used to be the best cocktail bar around. Since covid it's lost its atmosphere, staff are miserable and you can't have fun or be loud because the staff accuse you of being aggressive even when I hadn't even spoken to them. Apparently being a guy of a larger stature makes people form a judgement before talking to us. We were made to feel rushed after 1.5 hours and £150 spent. The whole attitude to no fun policy ruined the experience. Shouldn't put a group of drinkers in the apparent quiet food area 🤦‍♂️.

The waitress Kadie was especially nice, friendly and fulfilled our order with great accuracy and efficiency. The atmosphere was also divine.

We had our Christmas work dinner at Turtle Bay last night, and Alisha, who looked after our table, was absolutely amazing! Despite it being such a busy evening, she was on top of everything—our drink orders were always on point and kept flowing smoothly. Alisha’s great energy truly stood out, she made sure we had everything we needed and really elevated the whole experience. The food was really good too, I was a bit worried it would be too spicy for me but was fine and the brownie was delicious.

Emily was so lovely and really made our experience. Our table was late to be ready but Emily swooped in and saved the day. 5 stars

Our bottomless didn’t start of amazing but as soon as we spoke to Conner he made the rest of it amazing along with the rest of the staff! Considering how unbelievably busy it was he and the other waitress looked after us and made sure everything went smoothly!!

Worst Service in the world- walked in at 10.30 to an empty, deserted space , all the staff sat on their fat arses - when the pot washer eventually persuaded them to come across - said had to check if any space ! Gave up waiting to order and walked out - avoid it !

Came here for bottomless brunch. We had a great time! Our server Alisha was great, as we're the other staff. The food was great, although a little spicy for a couple of my friends, they tried to avoid the spicy, picked something onthe menu that didn't advertise it was spicy, but unfortunately it was, perhaps a non spicy burger could be added to the brunch menu? But other then that we had a great time! Cocktails were amazing!

Me and a group of friends did a bottomless brunch at turtle bay- we had a great time! We were served by Lily, and Emily at points and they were both lovely. We were told we could upgrade our bottomless and have Mac and Cheese instead of the burgers, which was lovely. We’ll be back soon!

Best cocktails in the town very pocket Friendly as well. And the staff is also very friendly and attentive…. Alisha was really amazing always with a smile on the face and suggested some really good cocktails. Definitely coming back

Our server Conor was excellent, he gave us his full attention, which is rare nowadays, and he was quick in taking orders and payment, as well as being super friendly. He gave us recommendations when asked which we had and enjoyed thoroughly. The 5* was for his service, hosting and the atmosphere of the venue. When I was seated, the host chose to sit us away from a full and more cramped area, to a more spacious area of tables. I appreciated this attention to detail as this choice had an impact on our experience, there was a nice atmosphere and we did not feel cramped or overlooked. The food was tasty. The Goat curry could have had more sauce and the ratio to the rice wasn't perfect. The salmon wasn't hot and the sauce was very thin, but both dishes were tasty regardless of this. Turtle Bay does well to offer flavour and fair value for money on food. The cocktail I had (Tingaling) was utterly delicious. I'm very sad to hear you will be stopping use of elderflower syrup soon. I will try and have another visit soon before this stops, as I generally would prefer to go to a chain next door (The Botanist) for better cocktails but this one I really enjoyed and would come back for.
