Works Christmas Day out at Turtle Bay Durham was just brilliant from beginning to the end. Callum and Calum (yes there’s two) were absolutely brilliant, attended to the groups every need, superb cocktails and food. Shout out too to the two chefs. We had a great time for bottomless brunch. Natalie was our server and she was absolutely brilliant, couldn’t have asked for more.

The Carribbean cuisine was delicious! We were attended by Zina, who always had a gracious smile and made sure we had an amazing dining experience. Zina checked constantly with us for any requests. Though they ran out of beef ribs for the Jerk platter, they made changes as per our suggestion. Will visit again.. highly recommended!!

Every time we visit for bottomless brunch, we have a great time. Drink service is quick, food is delicious and the service is always fantastic. The environment and services is always on point to create a memorable atmosphere.

We came down for bottomless brunch and callum was absolutely fantastic his service and friendliness was very professional made us all feel welcome 11/10 would recommend to everyone!!!!!

Great tasting food and cocktails, and a very enthusiastic and engaging server, Carly! The jerk salmon was very nice, although I was expecting slightly larger portions than I got (but this is probably because I was quite hungry). Overall I would definitely go again, just remembering to get a couple of starters or sides this time.

Updated Nov '24 - had the 3 course set menu and really enjoyed it, with the app based "secret cocktails" really tasty along side. Shout out for Carly, who was really great, good fun and never stopped the whole time we were there! Wow, went for cocktails the week after opening and vowed to go back for food. When we did we were not disappointed at all. Street food and prawn starters, curry goat fir both of us for main - sorry, no photos as too busy eating the mouthwatering food!! Staff were all lovely, even those new into the business. Will definitely be going back soon!

Went to Turtle Bay to celebrate my mother’s birthday and was greeted and served by the nicest staff, Natalia and Chloe! My mother had the jerk chicken with coconut rice and peas, I had the Kingston Fried Chiecken served with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. The food was amazing, the service, the atmosphere, everything was 10/10! Will definitely be back!

Zina made us feel welcome and patiently took our orders. Her recommendations were lovely.

the upstairs area is the bets for a private party!! they had a screen to pull down to show off our powerpoint for our friend that we made. as well as a private bar and bartender - thank you so much for an amazing time!!!!

Well me and my partner have just done the bottomless brunch. As my partner said, brilliant atmosphere and superb food. We had the vegetarian sharing platter which consisted of Mac & cheese bites, sweetcorn fritters, trini doubles and spiced fries, perfect starter to keep you going whilst you enjoy your first couple of cocktails. Then I had the most juicy hot chicken burger and he had shack stack burger. Omg the burgers are unreal The bottomless brunch is 2hr sitting and we've managed to enjoy 7 cocktails each, think we can squeeze another 2 more in. Thank you so much to Calum, Sarah. Also thank you for the lovely food made by Mike and Darren. We will be back for more £36.80 for food and unlimited cocktails in 2hrs is a bargain thank youxx

Been to this restaurant a few times. The one in Newcastle and most recently the one in Durham. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Attentive and respectful. My partner is a wheelchair user and they were very helpful and repeatedly checked if we were okay. Server Callum in the Durham restaurant was very friendly and a pleasure to speak to ☺️
