Turkish Sweet Centre in Manchester

Sovana was very nice and the service was top notch, the food was also incredible, I would recommend the milk cake and the sans Sebastian cheesecake

First of all they dont have a proper coffee machine. i ordered turkish coffee which came up £4.99. i found that ridiculus. .If you charge someone that amount of money for a coffee everything should be perfect and well equipt and well decorated. the atmoshphere wasnt great also and the design was very basic. I wouldnt be suprised if they close soon. I will never go back again and I would not recommend to anyone.

Great food and options, excellent service - only missing a star because there was a strong and off-putting smell coming from the bathroom into the dining area.

It was a very bad experience, it was first and most definitely the last. The menu says traditional Turkish tea, but it was tea bags. The taste was horrible, we know what a real Turkish tea taste like. We ordered 5 different items from the menu, the guy didn't bother and brought them all at a time, one of them plates was very close to his armpit , I sarcastically said it well-done, it is very professional, he didn't say anything. The paklava was very soggy and the cakes were tasteless too. My children love cakes and never complain but here, they were not happy at all and at the first bite, they asked if we can leave. Waste of time and money

Very mid place. Service was not very friendly and weren’t engaged. More importantly the desserts didn’t deliver or hit either which is the whole point. Location and atmosphere is ok which is the only plus I guess. But who cares about that over the food and service

Omg what a delight to discover this amazing gem on wilmslow road, busy and vibrant it oozes with authenticity, with an amazing selection of Turkish delight and other goodies to take home. Service was exceptional, we ordered a pistachio milk cake and baklava with pistachio ice cream, which came with complimentary traditional Turkish tea which was a beautiful touch, it was by far the best pistachio ice cream I have ever had in my life. I can not rave enough about the desserts, definitely a must visit if in Manchester. I cannot wait to visit again

Absolutely love the food here. Amazing service, closest thing you will get to an actual Turkish breakfast in Manchester. Fresh Turkish delight is also delicious.

I usually go to the wilmslow branch but tried this one on this occasion Very warm welcome by the young gent serving us and very helpful We ordered the San Sebastián and baklava ice cream triangle & Turkish tea and it was delicious as usual with generous size portions The quality and value is consistent between branches and so is the service Always have a good experience coming here so kudos to them & I wish them barakah in their honest business

I came here for nice turkish breakfast as I am bit disappointed cos the portions was really unexpected small and was not enough for the price was 15 pound for this really need another place to eat ....

We were on the hunt for a nice breakfast place. We love Turkish breakfast so this place was calling out to us. Upon entry we were quickly seated and given menus. The food tasted authentically Turkish, however they did forget to give bread with the breakfast platter and I as a customer realised as I had taken pictures of the menu. They then asked what should they do so we just got the bread in the end. No discount was made for their mistake and nothing extra was given in the way of an apology. The service was quite slow. The food even though it was nice was overpriced and I don’t think I would come here again.

Yesterday I visited the place,had breakfast and grabbed some sweets to home.Had an amazing experience and well deserved applause for the staff service and whole experience.A perfect go to place with friends and family!!

I went yesterday invited my friend for breakfast The bread is old the food over cooked when I complained about my porch egg been solid the woman from the kitchen came out and start telling us off as she said we need to mention when we order that we want the egg soft !! I was in pain all night with stomach pain and my 2 daughters have the same . I don’t recommend this place at all .

Disgusting service and staff attitude who refused to serve us as there are only 3 of us and won't be spending much. The opening time is till 11pm ! The time now is 7.45pm. would not allow us to eat it and take out only. Told him it's a potential £60 spend between 3 of us and he rudely replied with go spend it elsewhere then... Absolute 🔔end he was. Deserves to be sacked !

I would rather die than recommend this shop to anyone. I went to buy a cake on my birthday, after I chose the cake the lady at the till advised me to take a different cake which she said was more fresh after she found out that my birthday was today. I went home and while cutting the cake it was rock solid and not fresh at all, I was looking really forward to eating the cake but it was not fresh at all more like a month old. It was £30 and I regret buying it, a waste of my money this ruined my birthday as the cake is meant to be the best part.

Wonderful staff, great display of terrific Turkish sweets. They are responsibly priced and can be purchased in a delightful gift box.

My wife and I popped in for a quick Hot Chocolate & Baklava last weekend. The cake & drinks were beautiful and the staff were super friendly. The whole vibe of the place was really nice and well definitely be going back again next time were in Didsbury!

Huge selection of freshly made baklavas, Turkish delights Hazelnut ones are amazing. Cake & coffee costs £7. They have Movenpick ice cream too. They're open from 9am to 11 pm everyday serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, none of which we have tried yet so we will return soon.

I had the cheese bread. It was more like hard cheese ( halloumi/ paneer) inserted in bits. Unlike the mozzarella or cheddar cheese I didn’t enjoy it. The milk cake was great but I have had better ones. Rest of food was average. Service and ambience was good

Worst ever Food experience, very expensive and overly priced with literally zero food quality. There is no fresh taste of anything. We ordered Turkish Delight and Triamisu cake, everything tasted like rubbish as nothing was fresh. If you want to waste your money and upset your mood then by all means visit this shop. Otherwise avoid....

We went there as a treat from my family for father's day. The food was amazing and extremely delicious, made from high quality and fresh ingredients. Staff really friendly and offered great services. Will be going back for sure, and highly recommended to my family and friends.

The Fantastic Milk cake was delicious, and the server, Shazan, provided excellent service. He was very friendly and made some great dessert recommendations. He was also very hospitable and made great conversation with us.

The food and desserts in this sweet centre is absolutely delicious, what makes it better is the service. The gents running the place are always polite and make sure everything is served fresh. Specifically shazan, who’s always giving the best recommendations on what’s popular and best to eat off the menu based on the mood. Since this dessert centre has opened I have always gone there with my lads after a good meal on wilmslow road. I’ve become a regular now so next time I think I deserve a complimentary dessert/tea haha. See you soon lads.

Ordered kenafa and turkish delight .i v surprised small kenafa takeout for 9£ and taste not very nice.turkish delight ordered half kilo ,doubt i got that exactly and the way it’s arranged in the box not professional. Shop looks clean, but the staff looks miserable and not welcoming. No smile and shop has very strange table settings. We are not asked if we want to sit or take away. Paid 36 pounds for triangle baklawa with ice cream.

AVOID RUSHOLME BRANCH AT ALL COSTS! ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! Went there with my husband for the first time for breakfast on 21st April. What a joke! Ordered 2 english breakfasts. Bit into sausages which were frozen, spat it out. We complained to staff who apologised and offered to have the chef redo full fresh meals again. full complimentary for us. We agreed. Within minutes meals were brought out, it was the same plates just microwaved, the sausages were not fresh, but once we checked we felt as though microwaved. The chef gave me back the same sausage I’d previously bitten into! Si definitely it fresh. Staff went to speak with chef again, apologised again. ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME and not concerned about food poisoning. They should just stick to sweets! AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT FOOD POISONING

Expensive but very tasty baklava

Went to the Turkish Sweet Centre Wilmslow Road branch. Too overly priced. The Kunafe is £12.50 with turkish tea. Out their the price of Kunafe is between £5 - £7 and the taste was as normal as the others out their. (Turkish tea is complimentry in turkey). The Tres leches cakes was literally a waste especially the Pistachio one. The only thing i liked about it the Atmosphere which was outstanding. One time visit place only.

Incredible foods, in every detail has been thought. It was just like how I would’ve had in Turkey which is rare to find something like this in UK. Their kunefe and katmer was so delicious. That I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to go for something more traditional. Also tried the gozleme which was worth it.

Excellent San Sebastian cheesecake, available plain or with chocolate sauce. It is quite unique as far as cheesecakes go, presenting a library of flavours that unlock as you eat it. High quality food complimented by excellent service and helpful staff that strive to give you the best experience. Highly recommended.

We had raspberry and chocolate ice cream 2.5 pounds per scoop. It’s in main road and parking little bit tough. Both cash and card accepted

After going elsewhere for a meal, which was very disappointing we came to the Turkish Sweet Centre for our dessert. From the moment we walked in, we were met with smiles and greetings. Ali, Shazan and Abdula were so kind and knowlegeable about their desserts and the drinks and the sweets were delicious! We will definitely be going again! Thank you guys!

Went here for dessert with my mrs. Very underrated and great atmosphere quiet and staff was very friendly. The dessert here is very nice and coffee tastes super fresh. Refreshing to see a business of its kind in the area. My server was berkay, he was kind and considerate.

Don't bother. One of the staff were very rude, walk past me waiting and served a paler skinned 'native' looking bloke even though he'd just walked in and was standing by the door. Then had the cheek to tell me I was in a hurry. Luckily someone else service me but I will not be going back as the cakes aren't anything special. Poor customer service.

I had one of the best food experiences with my friends at the Turkish Sweet centre. The food was really nice and the service was 10/10. Our waiters name was Abdul and he provided us with excellent service and was very charasmatic.

Sweet shop and restaurant. Several dessert and drinking options available. I had lamb and cheesecake topped with melted chocolate, I enjoyed it very much.

Sahlep is really good however the mains and desserts are very overpriced and the quality does not reflect the prices. Simit sandwich and the salad was very dry, no dressing or anything. Will not be going back unfortunately.

Friendly staff. Fast service. Nice shop decoration. Clean. The Simit bread was fresh and delicious. The Baklawa was equally fresh and very nice. You wont find many places in Manchester with Baklawa this nice. The pistachio milk cake was nice, not too sweet with a generous portion of finely chopped pistachio on top. The Americano coffee was nice but I personally prefer larger mugs. They serve coffee in a small mug. I would definitely come again and will be telling others to go.

I couldn't recommend this place enough. Lovely staff, lovely service, delicious desserts, wraps and sandwiches and I especially loved the lemon and mint Turkish tea. The place is very clean and beautifully kept.

Ate brunch here with friends on Sunday. Sitting outside. We had mix menemen (with egg, cheese and sausage) and vegetarian breakfast both was absolutely delicious with Turkish coffee and tea. I definitely recommend this cafe if you’re in Didsbury Village and want authentic Turkish food.

Awful customer service - manager was a young lady who had no manners or customer Service skills. Secondly food was awful and overpriced. Turkish breakfast was practically a fried egg and one turkey rasher🤢 and the rest was all salad. The pastry was dry and had no filling. Would not recommend!!

Nice little place in Didsbury. They do some nice Konnafe and Turkish tea/ coffee, fresh baklava, and fresh Turkish delight. They do breakfast and other dishes as well, which we may come back for if we're in the area. They do sell other turkish items, which may be of interest as well. The staff are also very hospitable.

Had a great Turkush coffee and a couple of balaclava like sweetmeats. Coffee served with stunning tiny squares of fruit Turkish delight. Outside tables beautifully clean and staff smiling g and welcoming. Bought some of the Turkish delight small squares as gifts.

Visited yesterday for an Anniversary meal and the service was 10 out 10. Food was delicious we ordered a variety of dishes all were presented beautifully tasted just as good. The lemon and lime mocktail was on point. A very good friendly environment welcoming. Definitely visit if you're in Manchester will not be disappointed.

Went previously had breakfast and experienced was not all round and food was not matching the over priced cost for dishes. But, thought to give it another chance, this time the main dishes after 6pm. The staff were not friendly or helpful and we had to drag blood from a stone to get someone to take the order and to interact or give recommendations. The end was just a few dishes already, but some were not available and we were not told when seated. Order food and came in small portions for over over priced tag per dish. The chicken was pre cooked and diced into very small cubes and were extremely dried out and over salted the tomatoes sauce with the dish. The same dish in lamb was rubbery and again over seasoned. Each dish was 17.99 and the amount of meat was barely a handful. Lamancun was 7.50 each again was noy fresh and hot. ALL FOOD PREMADE AND OVER SALTED AND DRIED OUT OT RUBBERY. Ordered homemade turkish lemonade drink 3.99, it was just like have cordal lemon drink robinsons brand. Total came to £65. Will not go again. There are plenty of fresh ingredients and 😋 turkish places to eat. We did not try desserts maybe they are better with that????
