Absolutely awful experience if I could give no stars I would. Went in with a group of 8, waited over 1 hour for food to come to the table stone cold, wrong orders, vegetarian given a pork sausage, no apology, no explanation. Staff kept saying they didn’t understand what was going on in the kitchen, manager non the wiser. Absolutely awful. Got up and left.

Great place with live music once a month

My husband and I have tried several times to grab a meal when we’ve been by Peaky Blinders in Manchester. It’s always been packed to the rafters with a wait list so when we got lucky while out for a walk this weekend we gave it a go. Let me start off with the staff and how while they may dress like the Peaky Blinders on the telly, they are the nicest and helpful folks, who just couldn’t be friendlier. From the hostess to our server, to door staff, all very professional and lovely. The menu offers a good selection of fish, beef, pork and chicken options as well as vegan selections. We chose the Roast Beef Yorkie starter to share and then for our mains we ordered the Signature Steak Pie, and Famous Grandad’s Sausage, Pork Belly & Mash. We perused the drinks menu which looked amazing, but decided to give it a miss as we had a later engagement. Just sharing half the Roast Beef Yorkie, which was a huge traditional Yorkshire pudding stuffed with mashed potatoes with a generous amount of beef on top and a side of ‘proper’ gravy, would have been enough for me. It was not only delicious but tremendous. Note to self: Order this alone in future when not too hungry. Our mains: the steak pie was outstanding. The crust was perfect and can’t find any fault at all. Served with mash, this was a great choice. The sausage was also very nice along with the mash, but the pork belly was a bit difficult to cut through and chew. Perhaps something I’m not really used to but I didn’t particularly enjoy it. My husband did tho. As a theme restaurant goes, it’s a fun place with friendly staff. That’s a real plus and I appreciate that. What lets them down are the loos. Could be checked more often perhaps. No soap. Not enough loo roll. That’s a real minus. It was a slow late weekend hour when we visited. Can’t imagine a busy time. That said, definitely go for the food if the theme is not your thing. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Food was absolutely amazing, staff were very friendly and polite. We went during the 50% deal and would have been happy to have paid full price.

Great Atmosphere Staff were friendly

My partner & myself visited Peaky Blinders for dinner and cocktails. The ladies at the front were warm and very welcoming. They had a great live band. Our server Jemma was fantastic! Jemma was attentive, friendly and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you Jemma.

Door staff very rude, we had a member of our party who was partially blind and was turned away for tripping up a step. The staff need re training in people's disabilities.

Food was dry but everything else was great

Live music is great, as are the bar staff. The door staff leave a lot to be desired. Wouldn't recommend it overall unfortunately.

We went there last night as part of my brothers stag party. The woman who was looking after us (I think she was Spanish) was absolutely brilliant. The food was great and the music was good, especially the bands, it would be nice if the dance floor was a little bigger though. All and all we had a great time.

Nerea was our waiter and the service was top notch. She also gave us additional information about the city and how to get around, she really made an effort for us. 5 star service!

We are Spanish and we have just arrived in Manchester, the food is spectacular, a typical English place, but the best of all has been meeting Nerea who has been the girl in charge of serving us throughout the afternoon and has been what made us stay all the time and let's enjoy an incredible atmosphere, thank you very much ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Atmosphere, Awesome band on.

My friend & I popped into Peaky Blinders for a couple of drinks. The cocktail menu was great, fast service at the bar. Lots of staff clearing glasses away all the time. There was a musician playing the brass drum, which was very good. Overall it was a great atmosphere with delicious cocktails.

Great place to go, had the bottomless brunch. The nibbles were as advertised..'nibbles'. Would go again for a drink and a good night.

Good service and nice surroundings but the food was god awful. Worst Sunday Roast I’ve had in a while, our local carvery had more flavour - food is crap.

Went in on a Tuesday afternoon so was very quiet. Loved the decor though and I am sure when busier it is a good place to go.

Fabulous experience at Peaky Blinders. This is our second visit and food is amazing as usual. We had fish n chips, the smashed burger and squash salad. We were served by Lucy, which was absolutely lovely, paid so much attention to our needs. Perfect end to our bank holiday.

Really great Sunday roast. We had the roast beef, with a trio of sides- go in hungry if you have sides because the portions are massive, there was enough to feed 3-4 people on what we ordered! Lucy gave really brilliant service. Music from the bar was pretty loud so conversation a bit challenging in the restaurant, but was still a pretty good venue overall.

Reasonable price, cosy, very welcoming. Good food and service.

Group of 8 of us (4couples) queuing to get in on Saturday night, doorman asked how many of us to which we replied 8. Then after another 5 mins of waiting he asked how many of us (again) and when we replied 8 he said we don’t take large groups can you step aside. It was the first bar we came to so nobody was drunk or rowdy just a ⚓️ doorman

Popped in for a few drinks and snacks while In Manchester for my partner’s 50th birthday, lovely service, lovely atmosphere and Clean loos! Had some snacky food for lunch as we were eating out for dinner… food was ok, not bad at all but nothing particularly special really. Guinness was really good though as where the mojitos!

Absolutely worth every penny. Lovely food, fantastic service and the drinks just kept on coming. 5 star all the way

Surprisingly good Sunday roast - huge portion will a lot of meat, well cooked. Service was great as well - we had a special request that the waitress helped with and it hasn’t been even charged for. Just lovely

I and 5 of my sisters arrived here tonight from Ireland as part of a 50th birthday celebration for drinks. All I can say is the following and I am writing this as a woman. I have never felt so safe . I have seen women leave their personal belongings at their tables in safety. I have seen women dance uninterrupted by men. The bar staff are so efficient and friendly. The door staff/ security are visible at all times but are in no way intimidating and are always 100% respectful. We felt so welcome even though we were in no way as glam as the Manchester women. During the course of my visit I had to report to them that there was a broken glass in the ladies they were on it immediately. I was on the premises for 4 hours the toilets were at all times spotless and with toilet paper. I ran into the lovely girl looking after the women's toilets and she was so nice. The music was excellent when we arrived there was a band they finished and then a DJ and another band 100% most enjoyable night out I have had in ages. I would 100% recommend Peaky Blinders for a night out to remember. They have set a high standard for my visit to Manchester

Had the sunday roast and it's probably one of the best roasts I've ever had!!

Shocking, the place was empty and I can see why a table of 8 of us and each of us had either a bad starter or main, also had to ask several times for the windows to be closed as we were freezing When we complained we got told they buy it in it is what it is which isn’t what you want to hear when the pork starter was pure fried fat

Visited this place for the first time as part of an open mic night hosted by joe, and the vibe was amazing. The most lovely welcoming host who made us feel comfort, great atmosphere.

I had a beef Wellington and a few other stuff on the menu, it was really good and tasty. Drinks were also really good. I highly recommend the beef Wellington.

Great place, reserved a table for food at 5:30PM on Saturday and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic with greta music. The service and the food were also top notch.

I really enjoyed the venue and the atmosphere however the food was a massive let down for me. I had the scallops for a starter and they were incredibly salty, to the point I couldn’t eat dish. My main was the pork belly which was nice but it was missing some vegetables or a side for the price. I had knickerbocker glory for desert which was nice until the bottom where the brownie was burnt and was very bitter. I might have been unlucky with my food but I wouldn’t eat there again, especially with it being on the pricy side. I’d go for a drink again though, it had a great atmosphere.

A most pleasant surprise! Really good food and waiter's that really gave their best. Drinks to be craved and enjoyed to the fullest! The next visit in Manchester will for sure include a visit to Peaky Blinders.

Me and my friend were out in Manchester yesterday and we thought it would be nice to try out the peaky blinders bar as we love the show anyways. I don't usually visit Manchester and wanted to make the most of it. However we didn't even get the chance to go in ! Your security refused us saying we are to drunk ! Now we only went to two places prior and we aren't big drinkers anyways we certainly weren't drunk (giggly yes ) but not to the point we were sluring our words and unable to walk. I understand your security have a duty of care at your establishment but we were very very harmless two girls looking to have a nice time. Im sure your food and drinks and service inside would have been great but being refused at the door for being ' to drunk' when we had our id's out ready to be checked. Again ! If we were sluring our words being un able to stand or walk in a straight line then far enough we understand but we are two responsible girls and we were very upset with the comments he made about us ! . Anyways we took our money else where , where they ALL ALLOWED us in and didn't even have to question us. I never ever leave bad reviews but this was just embaressing on the security guy in all honesty.

Great themed bar with fantastic decor..

Went in at lunch time and ordered off the lunch menu. The chicken burger. It came to my table burnt to a crisp. Told the waitress who took it away and it was replaced. This is where is gets worse. They replaced it with a burger that had a 50p piece worth of chicken on it. Waitress comes over. I open the burger and show her. They take it away and I ask for the manager. He comes over with a face on him. Goes back to the kitchen accusing me of lying. Apparently in the 30 seconds the 2nd dish arrived I’d ate all the chicken in the burger. Comes back and has the audacity to tell me the chefs put a full chicken burger on there. Goes to the till, comes back. Don’t have to pay for the food I didn’t eat. Tries to charge me for the drink the waitress gave me to apologise for the burnt food. I tell him I’m not paying for a drink that was offered due to the bad food they served me. Comes back and tells me that’s not an issue then. I walk out. You’d think it stopped there. Went in the next evening to have a drink with a friend and was thrown out by the bouncers for apparently not paying for my food. They had been told that I was a dine and dash over a £10 lunch. Bouncers were also extremely aggressive. Made a complaint to Lucy Whelan who is connected to me on LinkedIn. You couldn’t write this. Apparently I’d been in before and left without paying. That did not happen. Then she accused me of eating the chicken and just showing them a little piece. Who does that? I’m now apparently barred for complaining about there food. Barred for terrible food and accused of stealing. Avoid like the plague unless you want to be accused as a food thief. Update: Look at how they have responded below. This is how not to treat a customer. On no occasion have I ever left that restaurant without paying (I’ve been there twice). Their reason to ban me is because I complained about their food. A manager gave me the bill and had taken the food off because it was terrible. Why would I return to a restaurant if I was a dine and dash? Try and work that out! If I have then I need to be in that programme ‘The dummest criminals’. Accusing me of this is slander. I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism. You give a bad name to anyone that works in hospitality. Food is awful and they treat customers like this. Avoid this place like the plague

After reading the reviews & checking out the website we were really looking forward to coming here.Unfortunately our visit was a bit of a let down. The place does look great & has a decent atmosphere but we went in the afternoon for food & the music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. The service was good but the food wasn't up to par. The mussels were chewy & the pork belly was dry. My partners food was the same. Definetly felt like it was cooked from frozen. We were seated right next to a large window that was wide open where outside was a seated area for smokers so would be worthwhile highlighting this with customers 1st before they are seated. All in all it was ok. Would be great for a night out but would be reluctant to return for dinner unfortunately.

This was a very unusual bar but has alot of character and charm. Maybe it was the time we came but it was very loud for the amount of people in. The music was nice but we as a group couldn’t stay for more than a drink. The decorations are great and very well done I would certainly come back soon

The food was really delicious, and the staff were really friendly. I wish I had a better chance to have the food but I was in a rush. Will definitely be going back.

Bit expensive but worth a visit

Since I moved to MCR this place was on my bucket list! I am a peaky blinders fan and finally I got here at 11.05.24.. First of all many thanks to our waitress Leyla 👍👍👍😍 Thanks for her patience with me 🤣 She was so lovely and polite.. gave super advice about the meals and drinks.. ☺️🙏 We had dinner with my wife and I must say : Super delicious 😋😋😋!!! Great generous portions great taste and great beer 🍺! Location is TOP MUSIC IS TOP (live music) and off live mixed pop/rock from different decades.. Prices are fine.. c'mon it's PEAKY Blinders!! For this place at this location prices are fair , I would even say average same as anywhere in MCR Will defo come again 😎👊

Food was mediocre and over priced for what it was. Burgers/pies etc, could of been better. I would of expected more traditional british dishes (hopefully modernised) on the menu. The atmosphere was warming and inviting, and I can imagine with live music it's at its best. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, helping with cocktails and food advice. The cocktails were presented nicely, and served quickly. Taste was mediocre. Nothing special to try on the cocktail menu. The experience was good, I just expected more from the food and drink to match the atmosphere and attentive staff.

Food was bad. Old pork belly that already smelled... otherwise a cool shop with good live music. Not recommended for eating but good party atmosphere.

Had a huge Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Truly one of the best roasts I’ve ever had. The meat was cooked to perfection along with all the best bits, crispy roast potatoes, veg, stuffing and pigs in blankets. There was 8 of us so they gave us extra table sized portions of the potatoes and veg. Great atmosphere and interior design really made you feel you were with the Peaky Blinders

Great bar, can’t fault the atmosphere and the band that was on. Security team welcoming and friendly. Good pint of Guinness, didn’t stay too long but would recommend to others in the future!

First time I have been to Peaky Blinders in Manchester. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was brilliant. Live music, a brilliant atmosphere, and drinks were flowing. We will definitely be back again soon. 😁

What a brilliant place. Large venue holds plenty of people. DJ and live music. The burgers were quality. Our waiter Peter what a guy, he was 5 stars and made our experience great. Reasonable prices at the end of the day it's Manchester. Definitely recommend

We just went for the evening for drinks and a boogie and it was such a brilliant atmosphere! There was a live band playing and the cocktails were fantastic 🤤 I liked all of the decor for the Peaky Blinder theme and there is one especially comfortable rocking chair too 😂

Great bar! We didn't dine so can't comment on the food. Great atmosphere, drinks on the pricey side but then it is central Manchester.

The overall theme of the restaurant is carried brilliantly, with vintage decor and the costumes. One can imagine having a good time here if it is an event with drinks & nibbles, because I will absolutely NOT recommend the food. I ordered vegan fish and chips, and got served giant blobs of deep fried cauliflower 🤢 which made me sick. My dislike for cauliflower aside, I think its agreeable that it is a better substitute for chicken, than fish. I was expecting a vegan fish fillet. Note to the chef: if you can't source vegan fish, take it off the menu! Drinks were alright, good service (kind of expected given a fairly quiet evening). Lastly, the dinner menu is priced weirdly in my opinion. It doesn't serve anywhere near to what it's priced.

We tried the bottomless brunch here. loved the concept. Harrison who served us was always available and helped us to have a very nice experience. good drinks that were included in the package. The food could perhaps have been a little better, but the whole setting did that we had a very good evening! I'll be back!

Can’t knock the service, waiter was excellent. However the burgers we got were tasteless and not worth the money. Would have been better off going to McDonald’s.

A place that combines the British style with that of the Peaky Blinders series. The lunch menu was really good value: for just £12 I drank a beer and ate a sandwich with chips, which I couldn't finish. Furthermore, the service is really friendly and easily puts you at ease.

We had a reservation for bottomless brunch for 90minutes. You choose between meat or vegan plater but you get it only once not bottomless as advertised. Bottomless were drinks. But we started later than 20:00,were asked to leave exactly at 21:30. We had 3 maybe 4 drinks. Unless you are at hen party waitress do not pay so much attention. We would not recommend it, although the place itself is nice. It feels like a scam!! We paid 70£ for 2 people!

As a foreigner, this is a hidden gem since we didn't plan to go there and we just discovered it. Really tasty food, such a cool atmosphere and the service couldn't be any better.

Last night's cocktail masterclass with Adrian and Ginger was amazing. We had so much fun!

Popped in here with work colleagues. Atmosphere was good, dim lighting, heavy furniture, very cool.

The bartender Ginger provided exceptional service amidst a busy crowd. Despite the hustle, she was friendly, attentive, and skilled! Well valued staff member!

Overbearing, over-priced and overcompensating for a meagre factor of being featured in the peaky blinders. You cannot sit in certain areas if you don’t fit the prime and proper criteria. Enquiring about the menu is shunned, the staff will dismiss your queries and serve you half finished cocktails as their stock has diminished. No communication, and no welcoming attitude. I would advise a small pint if needs must, but overall-avoid. Next door is much more adequate and welcoming.

Great atmosphere didn't have to wait long to be served on a weekend

We came here over the weekend for some lunch and it was nice. We both had the cheese burger as we just wanted something quick and easy for lunch. The food was nice, it wasn't the best burger we've ever had, but it was good 🍔 The Peaky Gravy was delicious, definitely recommend that! The decor in there is really good, the little details and vibe in there is spot on. The waiters are dressed up as Peaky Blinders and the service was really good, fast and friendly. We were sat down, ordered drinks, ordered food, ate, paid & left all in 35 minutes.. which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing 😅 It looks like on a night time the vibe is even better. They have entertainment on and "Peaky Blinders" mingling with the crowd. The cocktails are really good and there's a large choice of drinks. If you wanted more of an atmosphere then I'd probably recommend going on an evening as it was quite quiet in the early afternoon. I saw online they did a bottomless brunch and the table by us had that, it looked really good 😍 There was also lots of other things on the menu that sounded good, so I wouldn't mind going back to try them! Overall, food was nice, service & decor was really good and drinks were delicious. If we went back though, I'd probably try something else on the menu & I would be interested to see what an evening there is like 😊
