Turkish Mangal in Wychavon

Wanted a kebab, wasn't open, fannys just wanted a kebab an then closed proper early wasn't a fan, Jesus what the hell blood hell

I have only tried this place a few times but everytime it has been well made with what you can tell is Quality ingredients by people that know what they are doing, It does cost a litttle bit mmore than your usual Kebab but the extra expense is totally worth it

I had visited this kebab shop a fair few times a few years back and was looking forward to trying a kebab as the rest of family wanted fish and chips from the Riverside Fish Bar. I ordered the Large Lamb Shish Kebab which was £7. Thete was no interaction nor be it any interest in my custom even though the place was empty. Although the two skewers were cooked over charcoal they shrunk A LOT while cooked. I asked for my bread separate at the start but this was forgotten and the lamb was in the pitta before I could remind him. I had the homemade chilli sauce and full salad and then drive home to enjoy the kebab. On arrival the whole thing looked awful and the salad very very simple. The chilli sauce was dreadful, no taste and no spice and the pitta tasted dreadful... Now onto the meat.. bland, hardly any of it and taste very strange. I could not finish the kebab even though there not much of it there. Will never be going back to the Mangul in Pershore ever again.

Expensive cold donner kebab , meat undercooked and when I asked for extra chilli sauce that is bland I was told I could not because he makes no profit! Really!and I was only allowed 1napkin,rude and tight

As a lover of a Turkish kebab I was keen to try the Mangal out. I tried a Lamb and the Chicken in Pita, both were very disappointing. the Lamb was tough and the Chicken not cooked enough. Also for something marinated and cooked over charcoal tasteless!

I'm not going to answer my own question because I do not believe they are bad for you? Take a chicken kebab for example...yummy grilled chicken with fresh salad? Sounds like it should be on the NHS if you ask me?!Anyway...on to the Turkish Mangal. We recently visited them for the first time. We had a large chicken kebab (3 skewers) and a small doner kebab. Both were very nice as was the accompanying salad which was fresh and tasty. It was unusual to see how they grill the chicken kebab - I'm used to seeing it cook on a proper griddle so to see it propped up over some burning coals was unusual to say the least. You don't tend to get the burned edges on the chicken which is a shame. Fully cooked though! I would recommend (if they read these reviews) that they consider threading some onion and green pepper pieces onto their chicken skewers? It makes the finished kebab really yummy.We're relatively new to the Pershore area and it is great to have a good kebab shop to visit from time to time. After all...it must be health food?

The Donna kebab I had last night was very greasy and the chips where like cardboard. My wife had the Chicken shish kebab and she too was also far from impressed. The kids seemed to enjoy but certainly not for us. Not a patch on my local kebab house back home.Sorry guys bur won't be coming back for more.

What can be better than lovely seasoned lamb and chicken cooked over charcoal. Always tasty. Just watch you get what you ordered!

Don't pass by, the chicken shish is brilliant, cooked over coals it really is tasty. Marinated chicken spicy chilli sauce and delicious salad.

We use Mangol when we fancy a fresh Kebab , cooked in front of you on a coal fire and the chips are nice and fresh too, miles ahead of the other two chip shops in the town when it comes to a proper kebab, this is all cooked fresh in front of you and not rubbery reheated stuff like at other places in the town.Keep it up Mangol!!! Bit pricier but you get what you pay for.

Good pizza, good chips, ok burgers. Often miss things off the order though so check before you leave. They are always happy to give you the item, just annoying going back :)

We travel from Worcester to the Mangal. The quality is superb. Cooked to perfection. They take there time, no rushing and cooked over coals. Say yes to there home made Chilli sauce. Not to hot, but fantastic.

A mixture of fast food is available including pizza and burgers but the cornerstone of this restaurant is the kebabs. They have both the traditional doner and also shish which is cooked fresh over charcoal. As we went at a busy time, they had a few skewers already cooking, so the wait was not as long as it could have been.
