Anna's serves possibly the best fish and chips I and my partner have ever had. Always polite staff and fresh food that is good value. Their chips sometimes have batter on them which is delicious and the fish is fresh and flaky. They never give you small pieces of fish, one time they gave me two to make up for one being on the small side. Highly recommended.

Food is still high quality, unfortunately nowadays they very typically miss a lot of your order, and I don't mean that they leave something out they forget to put in, but they only fill half of a portion of chips and charge full price. Typically this happens every time I order here, and whilst I keep going here because they're conveniently close I can't recommend the place too anyone. Portions are smaller than they use too be. Cheesy chips use too be a £1.40, but when they rebranded they have since become £3.85 and the portions are smaller, this is true of all chip parts of other meals too, such as chicken fillets, hot n spicy, and normal regular chip portions. This is an increase of well over 150%, whilst other stores, like the subway and the king kebab next door, have only gone up about 40% - 50% in the last few years. If your unfortunate enough too order on a Wednesday, they have a habit of giving you Batter on everything without asking, and they will also fill large portions of your chip boxes with flakes of batter and nothing else, and hope that you don't notice, until you've already driven off. The fact random variations of all that I've mentioned have happened the last few times I've ordered here in a row, as well as the continued uptick in price as all stores around them remain the same, means I can't recommend Annas fish and chips regardless of how good the food is. There are accidents, and then there is blatant negligence, and in my lap currently, is another quarter box full of Cheesy chips; again, with no cheese on them. Only order here if you live close by, and if they make a mistake that you're close enough too walk back, they did miss your order and you have the right too complain. In summary. Your foods good but it would be better if I actually got it all when asking the first time, especially if your going to charge nearly double what the other chip stores in town charge, If they were close enough too walk too, I would most likely never order here again, you have over 8 people behind the counter, and not one remembers the order. Other than that, the chips are good, and the fish is really nice. I personally have the chicken fillet burger, but this most recent one is the first in the last few to actually have the cheese and sauce on it, still tastes great though. 17/07/2024 Just went again for the first time in a few weeks, Opened the cheesy chips too find its 1/3rd full and caked in batter,. truly worth the money.

We tried a new fish and chip shop since the food at our usual spot hasn't been good lately. The food was great - crispy, fluffy chips and delicious cod with just the right amount of batter. The portions were big, so we'll order a smaller size next time.

Undercooked pale greasy chips and overcooked battered sausage. I ordered a large kebab meat and chips too and when I got home there was a really small amount of meat,6 small pieces. Really bad value for a £9 box, this was finished in about a minute.Obviously didn't notice until I got home otherwise I would have said. Don't think I'll be back.

Went on a Wednesday , cracking black country battered chips, I'd never tried them before but deffo would buy again.

Usually 4* but just had their orange battered chips on a Wednesday, and we're stunning. Rest was great, just need them on a Sunday too👍

Fish was fresh with a nice crispy batter and chips as they should be, served lovely and hot. Have used Anna’s for a long time now and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Can’t put any stars for atmosphere as have only delivered but always friendly on the phone when internet is down.

If I could give this establishment no stars I would. They serve old chips from the night before, one portion cost me £6! Watched the lady serve them up and she placed three scopes of chips into the box. Daylight robbery, truly the worst chippy in droitwich. The chips were scabby, dry and overdone/old! I ordered a large portion of chips, pickle gerkin and a curry sauce and was charged £9.19. I didn’t hear the price I just tapped my card. What a complete Joke. All my family and friends agree never to go here again, truly awful!

This place has really gone down hill; higher prices, lower quality. It's a shame really, but you can see the impact of this in the reviews over the past few months. It used to be the best Fish & Chips for miles around, a real gem, but there is now stronger competition in the area, better priced, better quality and there is plenty of choice.

Wont be coming here again. Food is extremely over priced for what it is. I was charged £8.49 for fish chips and curry sauce which was a child's portion at best. Very small portion for the price. The chips also had a grainy texture to them as if coated in sand they weren't the best! Overall very poor

Have been going for the past few years and was generally good but has got worse recently. Chips have been awful the past couple of times we have been. It's almost like they have been cooked in sand, gritty and inedible. I'm not sure if it's overcooking then but I would stay away until it's sorted.
