Turkish Delight in Calderdale

Nice food but terrible service. Whenever you order a takeaway they say a time and then it takes an hour extra, we’ve plaited over 2 hours for food now and they lied as to when it was coming. Called after an hour and they said 15 mins. Then we called back 35 minutes later and apparently they were only just cooking it. They say it’s cos they’re busy but why didn’t they say that in the beginning. Terrible service and not even anything free thrown in. Disgrace!

Went here Friday night after being recommended by a friend. Ordered some kebabs, garlic bread and a calzone. The food was lovely and there was lots of meat and salad in the kebabs. Calzone was a fair size and tasted great. HOWEVER, the main issue was that we had to wait over an hour for the food to arrive. But other than that it was lovely and will try again.

2 1/2 hours late and tasted like it had been reheated very abysmal

After 20 minutes late, we had to call the take away, they said food was on way.. after another 20minutes, it arrived. The food was cold, 1 x cheesy chips, cheese melted and meal luke warm, the chicken sish kebab, we had to microwave and the pizza was warm, not hot. we are charged £2.00 for delivery, and all they do is batch up a run which makes the meals cold if your not the first delivery. wouldn't mind, but we are only 1mile away.so the £2.00 is not VFM..

Ordered at 19:45, given estimate of 20:45, arrived at 21:45. Food was good though.

Food was delivered on time, it was hot and it was delicious, never had a problem with the food or the guys who work here.

Used to always have pepperoni pizzas but they have changed the pepperoni.... The pepperoni used to be nice thin and crispy, now it's large circles of rubber very disappointing

Food was late, I called to see where it was and the guy made out as though it was my fault for ordering when they are busy. Never ever again. I have had this before and I forgot how bad they were. I will never order again.

Ordered kebabs and garlic bread, both were amazing. Only downside was order was late.

I ordered the chicken naan kebab, large portion and plenty of meat but do not order from here if you want your food quickly we expected to wait about an hour, but it took more like 1 hr 30-45 minutes (did order on a Saturday night). Can't understand how it takes so long to make a chicken kebab with salad! Also food was near stone cold. Not the best service but at least you can microwave the food warm again.

Food was good, but would have been quicker to find a lamb, butcher it, cook it, walk to Istanbul, find the correct spices, walk home via the South Pole, and apply said spices.

Order was late, order was wrong when delivered, and the food wasn’t properly cooked. Very disappointed.

The food was delicious but the driver couldn’t find our house and had no way of contacting us. This is really an issue with Just Eat I think.

Where to begin. First the food was over an hour late. No contact from the restaurant and an engaged phone line for over 45 minutes. The food when it arrived was unsurprisingly mild-cold. No apology for the lateness of the food. Awful, will not ever use this place again.

I would like to see more salad or an additional salad side order option as the kebab is 95% meat. The food is very good though and I have no complaint about that. The delivery is slow but realise food is freshly cooked. What would really make the difference is a good salad as well thank you

We ordered 4 chicken kebabs, all of which were extremely tasty. The chicken was fresh and tasty as was the salad. Overall, fab food and will definitely be going back!!

Not value for money. Extras like mint sauce come in a tiny pot & not even half full.

Food itself is nice as usual, however, they constantly forget the add ons for the pizza which cost nearly £2. Also, the delivery man had the food on its side which caused the garlic mushrooms to leak all over the food meaning everything was swimming in oil. The pizza was squashed against the side of the box. One of our favourite takeaways but these issues continue to happen.

Delivered to wrong address, demanded fresh food as it would be cold, eventually turned up at 23:00hrs, a bit late to have tea after work by now! The people that received the first delivery contacted me to let me know, by the way as they also receive our mail, then delivery driver said can u ask the others if we can pick it back up 🤣🤣 erm Not only Corana virus guys but time foods been sat around! Good luck if u got it in your delivery, totally irresponsible and disgusting! Wake up!!!!! Food hygiene course maybe on the menu for you guys!! Wrong people to ask is it still available to pick up! Disgusted 😤😤🤮🤮

When ordered said 20mins then when completed s half hour, then when got there wasn't ready for further 15mins but food excellent

Food turned up over an hour late, suspiciously about 20cminutes after I rang up.... they hadnt started cooking it after an hour and a half!!! It then turned up with the wrong toppings on the pizza. I then rang up and was told I couldn't have another, they've run out of pizzas, can they compensate me next time or send something else. I reluctantly took a burger after being offered a bottle of coke (to replace my £7 pizza) and when the burger arrived? You've guessed it. Cold. I'd have given zero stars for all 3 options if I could have.

Order was 2 hours late. Food was lukewarm. 2 items were missing & couldn’t even call the takeaway as their phone kept going to voicemail.

Food was lovely has always from here just it took over 1hr 1/2 to come, 20mins late then said, this is the 3rd time it has been late so make sure you order in good time because it is a popular takeaway

Had a chicken kebab, really nice char grilled with a fresh pita bread. Wife had mixed kebab and loved it Very tasty will be ordering again

I ordered a margarita with pineapple on, but when I received the order i had been given a plain margarita even though I'd paid extra for the topping apart from that everything else was fine

My order was late. When I rang the shop they told me it’d be 5 minutes. 10 minutes later and my food showed up. However, it was wrong. I then had to ring up and order another pizza which I had to go and collect. However. Once the order was correct it was very nice.

I have been coming here for a while now but we had a large donner kebab the other night and its was absolutely gorgeous. I think they have changed the meat but it was amazing cant wait to order it again.

Been ordering from here for years, great Kebabs the chili sauce is to die for, fast friendly delivery. Highly recommend this place.

Wether we order online,telephone or in the shop, the food is always hot and delicious. Been ordering here for quite a while and have never had anything but good food and lovely friendly staff.

Without question the best Donnar kebab in Brighouse . There chicken and sheesh kebabs are to die for also, great tasting sauce and nice fresh salad is also a bonus, i would highly recommend.

This place is awful We’ve now been waiting nearly two hours for a delivery of kebab and chips we won’t be using again!

Rude!! Cold!! Late!! Items forgot!! No apology!! Ordered just 2 kebabs with sauce, couldn't get this simple order correct. Guy on the the was very rude, took 2 phone calls ( both again met with the same very rude response) took over 35mins for our forgotten items to be delivered, dreadful service, will not be ordering from Turkish again.

Not as good as the usual orders I have had from Turkish delight.

I ordered 10inch deep garlic breads one with cheese one with tomato sauce, both were delivered burnt at the bottom's which almost resulted with a trip to the dentist and the tomato sauce was merely a drizzle of tomato puree which was very disappointing, will definitely not be ordering again. Extras were onion rings but somehow ended up with about 5 stray cold chips despite this were actually really nice. The delivery driver was very polite but tends to have a blank stare smeared across his face which might explain why the past two times iv ordered lamb kebabs iv ended up with donner meat, I cant imagine that they're english is brilliant. All round poor service for the third time running, should probaby stop ordering from here 1/10

Ordered here many times, food outstanding. This time I ordered a Jumbo mixed kabab in naan @ £7.80 when it came this was the same size as the normal sized mixed kabab in pitta. Disappointed
