Dario's in Calderdale

Not a great review, my pizza was cold on delivery, I ordered a meat feast but it only had half of the ingredients described.

Only giving this place 2 stars because the food was cooked. I would never recommend going here to anyone. O er cooked pepperoni with the cheapest greasy cheese and thin crust just isn't the cash I paid with was thicker than the pizza base. Never been before last night and would never go back. I'd recommend just go farm foods and get a frozen 1 .

I would recommend not getting the special kebab. Far smaller than other alternatives (half the size) the meat was tough and under-seasoned in what looked like shop bought pitta breads. Not worth the £7 paid for it at all.

Got two amazing pizzas. Deep pan was filled to the brim and thin and crispy was exactly that. Best pizza I have had in a long time. The staff was really lovely too. Would definitely recommend trying Dario's.

It's the most delicious pizza we tried in West Yorkshire! So tasty 4 cheese 🧀 pizza , my 9 years old daughter enjoyed it a lot . Definitely, we ll come back. Stuff is super friendly!

hi tried to order again online and past order was stuck on £40 and unable to change so had to create a new account,also messaged a few weeks ago asking why i couldn't use reward points,but had no reply,food is great but service seems to be slipping again guys!

Used to rate this place as decent but it's definitely gone down hill. Not ordered anything for a while & picked up 2 burger meals for me & the Mrs. Burger itself wasn't that bad but all the soggy onions and for some reason cucumber had soaked the bottom bun and the same with the top bun, unmelted cheese & covered in ketchup. The chips were just burnt husks that had a horrid flavour too so it all went in the bin. Sad to see such a popular place go down hill like that, I hope it can improve in the future.

I regularly get a takeout pizza The quality and price are great The staff are always friendly I have noticed negative comments on trip advisor for Darios - I’ve never had a takeout so can’t comment as I always collect - anyone saying that the bases are pre bought are wrong because I am usually in the shop seeing them made!!

Such a shame. Used to be lovely pizzas. Been a loyal customer for years. Now pre bought bases, dry, sun standard pizzas. Terrible burgers. Do not bother. Not sure what has happened???

Plissa burnt and over cooked. Waiting 1.5 hrs as the delivery guy went all over the place and couldn’t find us, even though he was on the phone to us six times.

Bought some cheesy chips and garlic bread,the woman that served me was extremely nice and went into details about food. It took around 5-10 mins for the food but was worth the wait as it tasted gorgeous. Will defo come again great stuff.

Shocking service last night. Ordered a Calzone that was half an hour late sent to the wrong address then cold. Returned for a replacement, rude driver. An hour later the new one arrives after 3 more calls and had almost raw dough. Had to cook myself. Rang for a refund, the staff were nice and understaning but the manager refused to refund without returning it again. By this point I had already put it in my oven to cook and was famished. Will never ever use again and will tell everyone what appalling service it was. This is on the back of the same order last week where they sent a pizza instead of the Calzone. Shocking all round. Do yourself a favour and order elsewhere. They don't care. Bring back the real Dario who did make great food and respected his customers

Ordered three pizzas for delivery. After contacting them after 1hr 30 mins and threatening to cancel order, three cold pizzas arrived 20 mins later. This is not the first time this has happened. Do not use Darios

Been a loyal Dario’s customer for 10 years but the last few times we have ordered it has been very late and had to ring up to ask where food was to get told it was on its way but clearly it wasn’t then when it does arrive it’s stone cold. Sorry Dario’s but I won’t be ordering ever again!

Terrible! After hour and half wait and a phone call to them was told it was just leaving for delivery. Obviously had been left to a side as it was cold on arrival. Had to microwave pizza but didn't want to reheat mixed Kebab as it had chicken in. Lamb so hard couldn't bite it! Never again.

Ridiculous rude company that phoned me when inwas in the middle of doing something important twice unprovoked, the female worker who picked up when I phoned back was rude and condensing and then hung up on me when I asked for her name. Stay away from such a place because if that's how they treat a random I'm sure they gonna treat you and your food a lot worse. I got through to a manager who pretended this wasn't a food company and played dumb until I said I litreally googled your number I know you're lying and then he admitted it. Don't eat at this place and stay away believe me.

Worst customer service of all time AVOID!!

Disgusting food but even worse probably the most horrible customer service I've ever had, you work at a pizza company calm down you're not important. Go literally anywhere else I don't know why you would go here?

Kyber kebab is the best place to get your takeaway. Been going there for over 30yrs and Richard has always provided me with top quality food.

Had a burger and chips well nice food and not as dear as expected

Ordered a Calzone pizza and a chicken burger. Calzone was ordered with extra cheese, if it was there it was hiding as the amount was minimal. The use of pickled chillies was what spoiled it for me. Utterly disgusting. If they had run out they should have sent someone to Lidl just up the road and bought some more. Chicken burger was disgusting. The cat would not eat it. Two small breadcrumbed chicken fillets with wilting salad. Won’t be ordering from Dario’s again anytime soon.

Ordered a lasagne pasta thinking it would be lasagna meat and sauce with bits of pasta but it was just normal lasagne which i thought was werid and was disappointed but beside the point i ate it anyway and it truly was horrible looked extremely unappetising and resembled dog food. the pizza was also not to my taste and didn’t like that either.

Really nice pizzas shish kebab mixed kebabs chicken kebab etc they are on the time all the time when order something must of the time with little money lots of food which brilliant thanks darios ❤

Ordered delivery for first time tonight, the shop sadly didn’t have a few items we ordered initially but rang and informed us and were happy to provide alternative items. Girl who rang was very friendly and helpful. The driver was also very friendly and smiley. The chicken kebab is 10000 out of 10 Pizza 10000 out of 10

Dario's has to be the best pizza shop in West Yorkshire! we've been coming to Dario's for pizza for over 10 years, probably longer and it's still awesome. The pizza's are all made fresh to order, and they are just fantastic. We had the Chilli Pizza and the Garlic Bread Supreme, just amazing.

Enjoyed a grand slice of childhood nostalgia last month from this long standing legend. This was the first actually good pizza i ever ate as a child and it's seems they're still going strong 25 years later.

Great pizza. Ordered early for 6.30 delivery to a campsite, delivered it on the dot. Driver had to ring for directions, but that's no problem, it was an obscure campsite. Great pizza base, good sauce and good selection of toppings. Supplied my own wine of course.

Food amazing we recently moved back to the area! My partner said it was the best takeaway Italian pasta dish she’s ever had. Pizza was brilliant not greasy even though I had extra cheese. We didn’t know the garlic knots came with tomato sauce but otherwise they were also amazing very filling meal will be a regular as long as they deliver to our new permanent address as we both disabled 😊

Took hours to come.. driver checked his boot and drive off, then cam back another 30mins later with a stone cold pizza, the person in the other side of the phone was rude and expected us to pay for it all, after been a loyal customer for years we won't be using them again EDITED IN REPLY TO OWNERS COMMENTS.. Our Neighbours was in the garden when the delivery driver arrived, he didn't even approach the door, he opened his boot looked at his receipt and drive off, we have this on a ring Door bell camera form a neighbour . And look at the reply you get form the owner, its appalling bad customer service, we have proof of all wrong doing and will happily show anyone who wants to see it.

We (were) regular customers. It’s always a bit hit and miss on quality and wait times. I’ve left a couple of good reviews because when it’s good it’s great but recently it’s just been so bad. Tonight, a Tuesday, it’s been over 1.5 HOURS and no food. And more often than not, in the last few months the quality has been poor compared to what it usually is. When you call you just get annoyance. So that’s it from us. No such thing as customer loyalty anymore!

Best Pizza place in Town for fact. I definitely recommend Darios Pizza in Sowerby Bridge. Just order and collect your food rather than getting it delivered if you want your food proper hot. Since it's is very busy takeaway it is not a wise decision to have your food deliverd especially in busy hours!

Very good pizzas however at peak times the orders can get muddled up so make sure you double check. Its the only thing that lets it down. However will replace without fuss which is very good. I dont get pizzas from anywhere other than here.

I placed an order 16/2 the food came within 40 minutes very impressed the last time ordered we waited nearly 2 hours and the order was wrong so thought I'd order from darios again to give them another try and didn't disappoint excellent food standards have definite changed right from prep to delivery

Food is good but home delivery is awful. Customer service is even worse had a couple of bad deliveries from darios from waiting over 2hours because they made a mistake to cold food. gave them another chance but food turned up stone cold and customer services was awful . DONT EVER ORDER FROM DARIOS

Food has got better again but don’t let them deliver as it’s a waste of time. Nearly 2hrs for food. Will never order to deliver again. 11-02-2023 Tried them again to to see if they had sorted issues. Sent cold food back as late to deliver. No customer service regarding cold food. Last and final time I buy from them.

Used to be a wonderful tasty takeaway, we would order a pizza and burger meal regularly on a friday evening.

We ordered through their app for delivery, When it arrived 2hrs later it was cold So we rang & spoke to the Manager who offered to take it back & reheat it which meant we would have had to wait an overall og 3hrs for our food & all that was offered as an apology was a measly £5 voucher! We sent the food back & went to another restaurant whom was happy to take our order & deliver it to us with 45 minutes! 😡

Certainly great place, nice and friendly staff. Deliver right on time and quality and taste is great. Definitely will continue to eat here. I had a great cheese burger. Again everything was just right 👍

I’ve been a loyal customer of Dario’s for years. They have taken their eye off the ball food is not up to standard! I have just waited 1.40 for delivery food was cold! This was the last chance and despite previous complaints it is getting worse! I will not be using them again!

Abizamal customa service promis replacement pizza an then call gf a liar and say no replacement breach of contract this pizza had hold the spice beef oh mostly spicy beef lol

It's been 2.10 hours since I ordered. Still no delivery. The app said it would be here an hour ago. Calling Darios didn't help. Useless ... they are ALWAYS late.

These guys are cowboys! I used to use this takeaway every weekend 10 years ago. After moving back into the area, it’s unbelievable how much they’ve gone downhill! Still awaiting a pre order. Rang them and told they’re really busy, cannot give any time frame for delivery! Exactly why we pre ordered well in advance!! Turns up 45 minutes after the pre order time (almost 2 hrs later) missing part of the order. Ring them again to find out they will refund part of the order that wasnt delivered…but only in vouchers!! Not a chance, do u really think we will use you again after this?! Food cold. Ordered extra sauce on pizza but turns up with no sauce at all! never again! Now having read your previous reviews it seems you seriously need someone to qual control your orders before you send out! Never again!

Service was prompt and staff were friendly but the pizza was mediocre, I had a meat feast and I really would not recommend it. On top of that the staff had never heard of a VAT receipt, which is a shame as before I actually got the pizza it was going to be my preferred pizza place in Sowerby which could have brought a lot of pizzas to the office.

Excellent customer service. If they make a mistake they make sure you are happy. You can watch how your pizza is being made inside if you want. Create your pizza option is highly recommended. There are halal, vegetarian, vegan options. Delivery is usually on time. If you want to buy a pizza in the shop at night. You might come across with some drunk fellas.

Would NOT recommend. Burnt pizza, burnt onion rings, left on the hot plate for 30 minutes before actually allowing me to take my order away, stood outside in the rain & freezing cold. Refused a refund, started a dispute thought the bank.

My family and I have had pizzas,Donner's and burgers from here never been disappointed. Definitely recommend the Bolognese and chicken tikka pizza. We are fussy when comes to food we will always get Dario's 5 stars from us

Wanting £8 DELIVERY CHARGE for half a mile away on a £5 burger!! Dream on loosers. Just seen the pathetic response!!! I live half a mile away, how can I be mistaken about where I live!?! If your machine thinks Pye Nest is over 6 miles away then you obviously need a new one!! Also, find someone less arrogant who can answer a phone who has manners, doesn't, shout down the phone at you and can give out CORRECT information. Oh, and I'm not dissapointed but looking at your other reviews it doesn't look long before you soon will be. HATE BAD SERVICE! .

Just been quoted £8 charge to have one item delivered half a mile away!!! Must have shares in the taxi service. Been a loyal customer for years, I appreciate it has changed hands but definitely NOT for the better. They guy on the phone must be deaf as he shouts at you and he also needs to learn manners! Will not be bothering with this firm again!

It really should be zero out of five. This place has gone so far downhill it is unbelievable. The service is dreadful (it never used to be) and the pizzas are average to poor. So disappointing

Paid 18 pounds for two ‘lamb kebabs’ Worst think I have eaten in my life! I could of cut my couch into pieces and put it in a pita bread and it would of been more tasty and less tough than the garbage they serve down here! Bring back the original darios not these useless clueless donkeys that have taken it over!!

bank holiday Monday evening. i expected a wait but was advised within the hour. it wasn't it was an hour and 20 mins, the pizza was quite honestly the worst i have ever had. how can you burn a pizza and it be soggy as well, that is a skill !! hardly any mushrooms, hardly any ham, the tomato sauce was congealed, it was disgusting. the other deep pan meat feast was ok but how can anyone mess up a ham and mushroom ?? even Asda 98p pizza is better ......

No pine nuts in my calzone...apart from spinach... ingredients pineapple and mushrooms.... What can i say :(

Ordered a few times now and it's beautiful. I do prefer the deep pan here because of how fluffy the dough is! Ordered a variety of things from here. Amazing healthy prawn salad jacket potato (it was so fresh) chicken burgers are brilliant (so crispy)...

Used to be great, but not now. Ordered a burger and a chicken kebab which took 1hr 30mins to come, the burger was ordered with no salad or sauce due to ALLERGY, this turned up wrong and then took 25 mins for the burger to turn up, then the driver asked for the other burger to take back! Hopefully it went in the bin!

Placed an order and stated no salad or sauce on burger due to ALLERGY. Food arrived nearly an hour and a half later with salad and sauce. Rang up to complain and they did send a replacement around 15-20minutes and demanded the burger with salad...

Weve been using darios for a long time with no complaints but after tonights take away that will b our last order as the food was 90 mins and when it vot here it was stone cold and items missing. So i rang to complain...

Quite simply should not be allowed to trade. Waited nearly 3 hours… refuse to answer the phone. Tell us food will be delivered after 2 hours and another hour later still waiting:.. app says delivered which is a lie. Will not refund. We have 2...
