Couldn’t fault it, but wether the waitress taking the card payment was new or inexperienced or not, it left a little bit of a bitter taste in the mouth after such a lovely meal, I was challenged on the ‘optional service charge’ which I decided not to pay because she made the assumption that I would be, by keying in the amount including it @ 10%, so I challenged it ‘optional’ and she preceded to make it known to a colleague. These service charges are becoming a bit of a grey area and a cheek, a service charge is for tables of 6 and over, but they are all trying it on these days. so be careful Tuk Tuk you are making enough money don’t take the mick!!

We booked for Valentines day evening. The restaurant was becoming busier at 18:15, but getting to our table was easy. Service was attentive, timely, and pleasant. At no point did we feel rushed, even though though they were plainly super busy. The food was excellent. Portions were a good size, and well balanced. What was supposed to be hot - was hot; what was supposed to be crispy - was crispy, and it all tasted great. Not my experience in many major chains. My other half and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and will be revisiting.

Rather hit and miss, although my sense was that they were busier than most evenings, given it was Valentine’s Day. They couldn’t seat us immediately, which was odd, as there were tables available. Then it took 15 minutes for one of the many waiting staff to get us some prawn crackers and take a drinks order. Those drinks came fairly promptly and were eventually accompanied by the complimentary glasses of fizz. We went for the mixed starters, which were pretty good, but then the wheels started to come off. The banquet was advertised with a soup and a sorbet, neither of which ever materialised (nor any explanation). The main courses were puzzling and a let-down. I was looking forward to the beef massaman and pork pad grapow. Neither appeared, but instead we got a sea bass dish and a green chicken curry. Basically the mains were completely different from the advertised menu. Bizarre and disappointing. Staff were charming but it all felt quite chaotic, like it was an opening night, not a well established restaurant. To cap it all, they added a 10% service charge, which I was too British to challenge. Not recommended.

Dined on Valentines Night and the set menu did not disappoint even tho they did run out of salmon.We would recommend this restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food in a relaxed friendly atmosphere

Took over 15 minutes to get my table ready. Heard waiters refuse their staff members to get table ready as they were busy doing other things. Decided to leave so can’t give a honest review of the food but couple who left infront of us said “hit & miss, more misses than hits”. Really wanted to try this place but was chaotic and the vibe between staff to get our table ready really put me off so I decided to go elsewhere.

Came here for valentines. As we entered it was confusing for them if we had booked or not. Sat to the table to find we were handed a different set menu to which was on a fb page of there's that was a disappointment. Starters okay ish over cooked on some and some were Gresey. Mains was shocking Little portions for two Dessert was dreadful put on one plate with two teaspoons no side plates offered. I was really disappointed in this tonight and not worth £40 a head at all. Some staff are polite and friendly, some not... Overall it was my 3rd time here but it will be my last. As they just can't get it right

A very very fantastic experience dining in this traditional Thai restaurant packing with delicious and attractive foodstuff. The staff are courtueous and helpful. While enjoying my meals I can sense the warmness of Thailand vibrant atmosphere. Will visit again.

We went to Tuk Tuk Thai for my husband’s birthday lunch/dinner. Booking was easy online and i requested the ramp for his mobility scooter as he’s not very mobile. We were welcomed with a warm welcome, the staff immediately got the ramp fitted and happily moved chairs to make space and cater for us. Nothing was questioned or too much problem. Food was outstanding, lovely and fresh and tasted delicious. As always ate too much and didn’t have room for mango and sticky rice. A big favourite of ours, so an excuse to go back! Would highly recommend.

I've lived in Thailand for almost a year and really miss truly Thai food. This restaurant has an awesome atmosphere with lots of small details, very kind staff and real delicious Thai food! I highly recommend it!

Really nice early dinner , good food & service

I booked a table online for my son’s birthday and I didn’t realise they were closed on a Tuesday. Can I suggest that you state this on your booking system instead of letting me complete a whole booking! You could’ve at least called me to cancel it.

Review for Tuk Tuk Thai I was very disappointed with my experience at Tuk Tuk Thai. The food was far below expectations. Most dishes were overly sweet, which is not true to authentic Thai flavors. The spring rolls were completely tasteless and lacked any seasoning or freshness. To top it off, the prices were unreasonably high for such poor quality food. This was my first visit and will certainly be my last. Definitely not worth price or the poor food

We had a lovely experience, unfortunately half of the party were poorly (not due to the food or anything) so we had to cut our visit short. But our waitress was really lovely and the food came out really quick. We’ll definitely be returning once everyone is feeling better

Ordered takeaway today and it was a really bad experience. Tom Yum was very salty, not aromatic at all. Red curry was just a kind of boiled veggies without any aroma as well and carrots which weren't cleaned (black soil pieces)... Will never order/go again...

My husband and I recently dined at Tuk Tuk Thai in Fenny Stratford with friends. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the evening. If you’re a fan of Thai cuisine or just looking for an unforgettable meal out, we couldn’t recommend Tuk Tuk Thai enough. It’s a gem in Fenny Stratford!

Do not tip! They took my order then pushed back the delivery time by an hour. Bullshit take away. They also made me tip the delivery chap. Utter rip off.

Came here just before Christmas with some friends, really friendly vibe and good food! My only thing was I asked for the green curry to not be spicy and it was still unbelievably spicy, not sure what happened, could have just been a miscommunication!

Dined here very recently for my dad's birthday. The starters were the best part of our experience; we ordered the mixed starter platter, salt and pepper squid and chicken wings and they were all lovely. As for the mains, we ordered the pineapple fried rice, lamb shank massamun curry, chicken in red wine sauce and sweet and sour stir fry with jasmine rice and cocunut rice; the pineapple fried rice contained raisins, which was weird and didn't go well with the dish and wasn't actually listed in the description, as otherwise I would've asked for them to remove them. The lamb shank massamun curry had such a strong taste to it but this is probably just down to personal preference. The chicken from both chicken dishes were very overcooked so was rough and unpleasant to chew through. The service was great though and couldn't fault it really. They even threw in a free birthday treat/dessert for my dad - ice cream with banana fritters! Atmosphere was generally nice too, lovely decor, the only downside is that when people started going in and out of the restaurant, the wind came in and it got pretty cold so was sat with my coat on in the middle of meal. The lights outside kept turning on/off too, not sure if it was sensored and detected people walking by outside (we were sat next to the window) so could feel the area around us going bright/dark, which wasn't great but overall, a positive experience.

I went to the birthday party of a friend who chose to have a birthday party at Tuk Tuk Thai in April. In the past, the only food I ordered was Tom Kha Kai. But what I received was boiled chicken. You have to understand first that I emphasized to the employee taking the order that what I ordered was tom kha chicken, not tom kha chicken, but I'm not sure if what she understood was correct. But when the food received was chicken soup with only straw mushrooms and chicken meat. The store gave me the worst experience. Coming from abroad, you probably expect Thai food. To be like when in Thailand The food should be at least 70% similar. Growing up in a country where we are picky about what we eat, Food and taste are important. But eating Thai food abroad would be a nightmare forever. Even though the restaurant cooks food by a Thai chef and the shop owner is Thai Maybe I expected too much or too little. Ordering Tom Kha Kai is difficult. to be served in Thai restaurants Even the staff didn't understand the entire menu.

So made an impromptu visit on a Saturday night, they got us a table sorted..the food was amazing, the Pad Gra Pao was tip top and the Lamb Massaman was absolutely exquisite.. Go there.. I've eaten Thai in many places, this is very good

Every time I go I’ve had incredible service usually from Da and today was Da and the new deputy manager, fantastic service and incredible food, we went for lunch today the lunch menu is fabulous, I’m trying everything on the menu gradually trying something different every time, today was Pad Magrow it didn’t disappoint I absolutely loved it 🥰 I will be returning because there’s so many more to try and Da always makes us so welcome! I can’t recommend highly enough

Always love the food at Tuk Tuk Thai. Went on Sunday lunchtime, it was a bit quieter than usual, but the service and food was as good as usual. A slight update to the menu I think but all our favourites still remain.

Just ordered a takeaway. My advice....don't do it. £20 for something that I found quite mediocre.

We've had takeaway several times from Tuk Tuk Thai but this is the first time we've eaten in as a family. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The staff there are great. My 5 month old was being fussy and I was trying to eat my dinner while bouncing her up and down. A lovely member of staff noticed, came over and took my baby for a tour of the restaurant so I could eat my dinner in peace. It was so appreciated! Thank you everyone at Tuk Tuk Thai

This is food that brings joy. I decided to pop in at lunch for a takeaway. I walk in to a beautifully decorated restaurant and I am immediately greeted by friendly staff. I said I wanted something spicy but not "thai spicy" and I was recommended Pad Grapow, it was really fresh and delicious with a nice level of spice. I'll be sure to visit again when I can.

This is a review of a takeaway. I was made to wait for 5 minutes while someone looked over a booklet having acknowledged me and asked me to wait, then wandered off, coming back to ask the kitchen about my food, which has been sitting in a cool box, the entire time. The order was all packaged up and the person serving me counted the packages. However, when I got back I found that one of the dishes which should’ve been for four people only had two servings. I got no response when trying to complain. I guess I could’ve checked, but it would’ve been difficult to opened up all of the containers to check. Rest of the meal was okay, but not worth the price compared to other Thai restaurants.

Disappointing Experience at Tuk Tuk Thai Restaurant in Milton Keynes In July 2024, I visited the Tuk Tuk Thai restaurant in Milton Keynes with two friends for lunch before my shift at work. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory, and I would not recommend this establishment to others. As someone who has lived in Asia for over 40 years and is familiar with Thai cuisine, I had high expectations for the food at Tuk Tuk Thai. However, the dishes did not meet the standards I've come to expect, especially from restaurants in Bangkok. The two main courses we ordered were overly sweet, falling short of the balance of flavors I'm accustomed to in authentic Thai cooking. Additionally, one of the items in the shared platter had an unpleasant sour taste, indicating the use of possibly spoiled ingredients. The service quality was also disappointing. The Thai lady who appeared to be the shop owner was unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate our request to have the entire meal served at the same time. The Hong Kong male waiter was friendly, but the owner's rude behavior overshadowed the positive interactions. What compounded the issue was the significant delay in the arrival of the mango sticky rice dessert, which didn't come until 25 minutes after we had finished the main courses. This was particularly frustrating as the restaurant was not even busy, with half of the tables empty when we arrived. It was clear that the staff had missed our order for the dessert, yet the shop owner refused to cancel it or apologize for the delay. To make matters worse, the shop owner's unprofessional conduct escalated, as she was observed shouting at the cook and waiter. Her use of "being busy" as an excuse, without any apology for the missed order, was unacceptable. As a result, I nearly missed my shift at work due to the poor time management of the restaurant. Given my extensive experience with Thai cuisine and the blatant disregard for customer service, I will not be returning to Tuk Tuk Thai restaurant, nor can I recommend it to others. Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, but this visit left me feeling discriminated against and disappointed. Consistency, timeliness, and respectful customer service are essential, especially for an establishment promoting authentic Thai food.

This was my second visit and it was just as good. Love the food, vibe and hospitality. Stunning authentic Thai food by a passionate family. The beef massaman was next level, the slow cooked beef just fell apart.

We went for an evening meal for two of us. Shared the mixed starter which was delicious, followed by a beef Massaman and chicken panang with sticky rice. Portion size was really good and food was excellent. Best Thai we have had outside of Thailand - would absolutely visit again!

This is hands down the best Thai food I have tried in UK, and it’s in my neighbourhood! We were left wondering after, why did we not try them sooner. Will highly recommend for the delicious food, great presentation and accommodating staff. We reached shortly after 9 when the kitchen gets closed (we weren’t aware), but they managed to serve us. Really appreciated. I hope the quality and sevice stays the same.

Tuk Tuk SIGH…. Suk Suk Dry!! To summarise, they were rude, unattentive and completely clueless and we endured a catalog of errors and abysmal customer service from start to finish. 1) woman who greeted us lacked any emotion or ability to build rapport 2) soon as we sat down they brought us someone else’s drinks order before we had even ordered (we should have known it would be a s@&! show from the start) 3) it took half an hour for anyone to even take our drinks order or acknowledge us. 4) we had to desperately flag a waiter down / get his attention and we asked him can we order our starter, his face went blank and didn’t understand what we meant. 5) after waiting for our food what felt like forever, they gave our food to the couple next to us The bill came to £96 including 12% service charge. When he handed me the card reader, I told him to take away the service charge which he did without any hesitation (even they knew they were taking the mick at this point). Total bill £85 Please do not give these people money they don’t deserve your hard earned pennies!

Abysmal. From the moment we entered to the moment we left. The lady who greeted us was silent. The waiter, attentive 0/10, we had to get the attention of multiple other waiters to get drinks ordered after waiting 20 minutes. Even after being told we were waiting .. he still took his time! The waiter who brings your food & drink out is on another planet. Served us 4 drinks as we sat down - obviously not ours. Then proceeded to serve our mains to another table, who just sat down - obviously not theirs. All whilst not speaking a word. The mains took 30 minutes from our starters, then an additional 30 minutes due to the rookie mistake! All now, no communication of apology or compensation for this matter, cheekily still added the service charge to the bill - obviously didn’t pay, because what service? The starters though were lovely. The dumplings, ribs and tempura veg - 8/10. Aftertaste on the veg from the oil or the sweet chilli sauce .. something not quite right but minor. Shout out to the bartender, the drinks - Pina Colada and Thai of the storm - absolutely amazing! 10/10 taste and flavour, not too overpowering with alcohol but just right! The lady who greeted us goodbye was the sweetest one in there .. finally felt recognised after the 2 hours we spent in there .. on our way out! Overall, this place comes highly recommended but from our experience will not be returning. There are many other Thai restaurants in MK that are above and beyond this one.

Lovely food but spoiled by some unbelievably vile guys who were burping, shouting and making sexist comments. We would have stayed but it ruined it for us. Please ban them they are bad for your business.

My husband and I always have the same thing because we love it so much. I have Lab Gai (my favourite Thai dish) and this one is the best ever. It has a kick, but the kind of kick that you just keep going back for more. Coconut rice sets it off perfectly. Husband has the Jungle Curry. It even looks hot. I can see the heat intensifying in his face, followed by a bit of sniffing and finally the sweat beads, but he LOVES it. Wine and beer are all good too. If you are anywhere near, make sure you go in (if you can park).

This is an authentic Thai restaurant offering casual meals. Their lunch menu is a very good deal, including a drink ! Must try !

Wife and I popped in for a meal and wow the food was amazing. I'd had a rubbish day at work but after a few bites I had a big smile on my face.

Food is amazing, really authentic taste. Best thai restaurant around Milton Keynes. It can be busy and better to get reservations. My favourites are Pad Thai, Drunken noodle , and spicy pork salad. Dessert Mango sticky rice is very delicious too, I’d recommend to try. Short stay car park is nearby and so very convenient.

Quirky restaurant staff were all very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. A reasonable amount of veggie options.

Very nice food but service was extremely slow at first. We did wonder if they'd had to go to the cash 'n carry to buy the wine we'd ordered because it seemed to take that long to get just a pair of glasses of wine. After that initial hiccup, things went smoothly, and we had a lovely evening. The food was great, the atmosphere & decor was great too. We will return...

We had a delicious lunch here. Very friendly service, excellent food - a couple of small things were not quite perfect, like the dumplings being a touch overcooked, but it really was a lovely meal. The beef stir fry with chilli and Thai basil was outstanding.

Friendly staff and great menu. Massamun and Panang curries were excellent. Slightly disappointing Sharing Platter... chicken skewer quite bland and generally small portion for nearly £10 per person. You'd be better with an individual starter as you only get 6 small items each (only 1 meat). Attentive service, but sometimes a bit over keen to clear your plate 2 seconds before your last bite. £35 per head for 2 courses and 1 drink.

Amazing food and service. We loved it here and will be returning. The best Thai food in the local area by a long way and possibly the best we’ve had in the UK.

Lovely place and delicious food

Food very poor quality. No rice served with main courses. When the rice arrived 20 minutes after the mains it was cold. Service was the worst I have ever experienced. Very slow and rude. We had young children in our group and they were upset because of the rude attitude and behaviour of the Tuk Tuk staff. We found very odd substances under the table, either chewing gum or something worse. Avoid this place, it is not good for food, service or atmosphere.

The best Thai Restaurant in Milton Keynes. I love papaya salad, chili fish . Also the Mango sticky is so nice . I definitely will come back very soon ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely awful. Food cold and didn’t taste even remotely like real Thai cuisine. I lived in Thailand for 6 years and have never experienced anything as awful as the food served in TukTuk In Bletchley. I noted several serious issues with hygiene including dirty plates and food left out uncovered. Check out the kitchen for examples of poor hygiene. Service is the worst we have ever experienced in MK, or anywhere else. The servers were rude, throwing plates of food onto our table and yelling across the room over our table to each other and other customers. Our mains were delivered after one hour and 35 minutes with no any rice although we ordered it with our meals. Rice arrived 25 minutes later. If I could give minus 10 score it wouldn’t be low enough. Asked to see a manager but was told by staff staff that they have no idea when she will be back.

Been twice. First time excellent service and food. Second time excellent food but service was poor. Dishes were missed and we had to wait for more to come. they served my daughter a cocktail when she had requested a mocktail. No apology from the water, but management were apologetic. We will be back, but hopefully service will be back to normal.

Great decor, friendly service with authentic Thai food. They've added a street food day the last weekend of each month! Back in for dinner after a couple months and the food is still on point, especially the som tam and green curry!

You will like this establishment if you want good Thai food, that is in the heart of Fenny stratford and very near the A5 watling Street. Fenny stratford is an historic coaching town, with its own railway station on the Marston line from Bletchley to Bedford. There is a great nightclub Pink Punters which is a five minute walk from Tuk Tuk's. Food in Tuk Tuk's is very good with friendly staff who give their time to make you feel welcomed, and the interior makes you feel you are actually in Thailand. Not too expensive for such good food made from the heart. In my view Tuk Tuk's is the best restaurant in Fenny stratford with very comfortable surroundings inside.

What a Lovely Fantastic place. The inside is Amazing with all the Thai goodies on the walls and ceiling. The food is delicious 😋 The staff are so polite and spot on. Thank you. But it's a must to visit, but it gets very busy so have to book to be safe to get a table.

Great fresh food here. I had some very soft seafood tom yam, egg fried rice and chicken wings. Service was fast and the food was fresh tasting.

Wow - what a great place! It's really great from the moment you step foot inside. The service was excellent, with the food being very tasty. The staff are very friendly and welcoming - and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely eat here more if we lived nearby.

I went for dinner on the 28th December 2024 and ordered a few starters and two main dishes. When the Lamb Massaman curry arrived, the Lamb seemed like it was placed into the sauce later rather than whilst it was being cooked. So the lamb was completely dry with no flavour. Other than that the food was nice but I found certain items like rice to be a bit expensive. I should have complained at the time but my friend ate some of it anyway.

I order the sweet and sour stir fry with chicken but it came out absolutely wrong. I thought it was a stir fry with noodles but I found out that u have to pay £3 something extra to get a small bowl of rice or noodles bare in mind the chicken and vegetables were £10.75 I think. When I got my food I saw hair in it which disgusted me so I wasn’t even able to eat the food. However the starter I got was alright but the portion for the money I paid was not worth it. We brought in a champagne bottle not knowing we had to pay for it and the lady decides to charge us £20 for our own bottle.
