Absolutely love the people in there. Friendly. Food amazing.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Milton Keynes The Food Is consistently good, & so authentic the staff are so polite & helpful & they make everything from scratch so it’s super fresh & tasty everytime!, they will tweak anything on the menu to your specific taste! Honestly it’s so delicious literally no where beats this Indian cuisine Maya of Olney, Indian Bar and Restaurant perfect everytime in a relaxed setting perfect food everytime. Dishes are amazing & bread to die for. Don’t go anywhere else you won’t get better fresher & delicious anywhere in Milton Keynes. It’s the best food with the nicest welcoming staff who really make your night special!

Good food at a good price, friendly service.

Second visit, again on the way home from the airport. Always nice to get lime pickle with poppadoms rather than just the bland sauces. Decent spice with the curries too, and good naan.

This is local to us and after trying a lot of different places in the local area this is by far our favourite. We now eat from here 2/3 times a month and it is outstanding every time! We’ve tried most things from the menu and some of our favourite dishes are the garlic chilli chicken, chicken balti, baby aubergines, Bombay aloo.

I have to say overall we had a pretty good evening meal and experience at Maya. So the food was very tasty and looks like it had been well made, there was one small point though. We ordered vegetable samosas and got beef not once but twice so that was a bit frustrating. The waiters were however very friendly and energetic which made up for it. The prices were I think well thought out and did match the food in front of us. Overall it’s a nice place and would recommend for a evening meal.

I'm conflicted with this place... The food is actually quite good, bar some slightly overcooked chicken. Very good prices, especially for the 3 course menu. Service on the other hand is sub-par. One of the guys was very friendly and happy, the other was miserable. Quite rude taking our orders and then would make us pass the plates/drinks down the table rather than quite easily walk around and place them. It's the little things about a restaurant that make you want to come back and while the food was good, the service has put me off enough to not return.

Ambiance good & welcoming. Food starters were good. Ordered Briyani but it did not taste like Indian Briyani. It was okay. Other foods were good. I will definitely recommend this place to give a try.

Not sure what has happened here, but not a patch on what it was earlier this year and the staff seem to have changed, so perhaps different management now? . Food was bland and tasted under seasoned, with onion and tomatoes almost raw - service didn't feel welcoming. Very disappointing and doesn't compare well with other options in Olney.

Popped in for a couple of starters asI had just finished a very long 13hr shift. I was tired and hungry, I was very glad I stopped off. Yummy food, tired but very happy now.

I visited Maya for my birthday as have wanted to try this restaurant for many years as heard great things about it. The food was tasty but found the staff to be quite short with me as I was having to ask about whether dishes were gluten free or not, a little disappointed and did not feel that we were greeted with a warm welcome.

Even though I live in an area with plentiful indian restaurants, I'll make the effort to return to this one as it has proper tablecloths, smartly dressed waiters, parking and most importantly superb food.

We went Santa Pod race track for the day and passed through here Staff are very nice, food presented very well, chefs came out and had a chat with us, good people, I am used a bit more spicy but for the normal Indian food eater is will be great

Smart Indian, better than average a little bit more expensive. But it is worth it. Not full of lads on nights out more couples and nice meal or family celebration.

Excellent food and service. Asked for panir makhani which isn't on the menu and they accommodated my request with no fuss at all, the dish itself was really tasty as was all the food 👌🏼 We were also given a complimentary bombay potato and few other items which was a really nice gesture 😊

Such a shame! We really liked the food but we felt very ripped off when we were charged almost 7 pounds for a pint and a half of soda water and lime cordial! I've never been anywhere in my life that charges anywhere near that much and feel like the waiter just made up a price when we questioned him about it! Feel like such an idiot for paying that much!

Normally go to Spice Garden Olney but for whatever reason it appears to have closed down. Anyway was my fit visit and food and service was excellent. Will return.

We had a two course meal in September 2019. I have never ever posted a review before but the food was so good I feel I need to. It was the best Indian food I have had in a very long time. The staff were also really accommodating. There's plenty of choice on the menu including duck and monkfish. The two course meal deal with a side dish makes it excellent value and you can choose from the whole menu. The ambiance is very nice and the facilities spotless. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Great value and excellent food. We recently visited for a family birthday occasion and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food is very good, and a little different to the average Indian. Presentation is definitely a strong point. Worth a try.

Amaya is one of the best indian resturants around, they have fantastic customer service and there food is superb. They have a large selection of dishes to choose from and often host offers such as '3 courses for 17.99'.

Can't understand all the 4* plus ratings for this place. Had a takeaway that was far from special, not exacly unpleasant just made no impact on me at all. Lamb wasn't tender so not cooked properly. Service was mediocre and lacking any warmth. 1st and last visit.

I'm there at least once a week. The staff are very friendly and remember you by name. Most dishes are fantastic. The monkfish is awesome. Recommended.

An excellent menu with a wide variety of interesting Chef's specials. Good food presentation, pleasant atmosphere and prompt service. One last thing, perhaps the cleanest restaurant toilets that I've ever seen, which usually tells you a lot about an establishment!

This is the best Indian restaurant that me & my wife have been to for a long time. I recon if the poperdoms are fresh then there is a good chance the rest of the food will be good & this is the place for good food & pleasent service. I very much recommend them.

Only visited a few times but experience has been memorable. The food has always been served piping hot and on hot plates! Portions are far from huge but quality is good. If they have a table - I'm off there tonight!
