Really welcoming team and great service throughout our pre-theatre meal thank you.

I recently visited the Midsummer Tap, 12th district in Milton Keynes for the first time, and it was an excellent experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which instantly set the tone for a great lunch. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy, with cool decor and festive touches that made it feel unique. The music was spot on, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing date lunch. To top it all off, I have to mention the Diavola pizza I ordered was absolutely delicious—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I'm not sure what's happened here, but the food has massively changed from mediocre to just delightful. The nachos are a clear 10/10 and the triple Go big or go home burger was amazing. My daughter had the Karaage and rated it an 11/10. All of the staff here were perfect as usual. The manager, Chad and his staff served us very quickly and the food arrived without delay. I will 100% be adding this place as a place to eat every time. Sorry about the picture, that's all that was left.

Always packed and atmospheric on matchdays, particularly midweek fixtures. I commute to MK for work and often find myself here on match nights. I've been three times now, twice being alone and I've always ended up on a table with welcoming locals to share a pint with. Lovely community feel to it and anywhere that serves wings by the kilo gets 5 stars from me. Plenty of screens and they simultaneously show as many games as possible

Chad was amazing! He hosted me and my team for a training course today and delivered top service! He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and I couldn’t recommend this pub enough! Cheap lunch deals, a great cold pint and a bowl of hot chips!🍟 If you haven’t paid a visit yet please do as you won’t be disappointed😁

If you're are comics geek this is probably the best pub for you, but if you're indifferent towards comics so it's way too much dropped into your face and quite awkward atmosphere to have pint in... Didn't try any foods, therefore can't comment on it.

Fantastic bottomless brunch on Saturday watching the Rugby with the boys. Service was exceptional, especially from Chad, 5 stars for the whole team.

Food and service was great! Had the 1kg of spicy cauliflower and fish and chips. And some Guinness. And some G&T's. Fantastic all around. Peter is a great guy, he's from Los Angeles.

Moved to Milton Keynes recently, checking out a few places. I found midsummer tap and food was great! What stood out to me was the service from the staff. Especially chad who made me feel welcome and like it was my local. I've been back every week since. So thankyou chad and the other staff front and back ❤️

Went to this astablishment prior to matinee theatre performance, booked table for 8 ended up being 10 ordered drinks and food, waited quite a long timevfor food to arrive but big party so accepted that, but when food actually came food was cold chips you couldnt say were even luke warm, told staff and they said they would heat it up, then they came back and we were informed it would be another 45 minutes we would have wait as other customers were before us. By this time we had no option but to take the (food) and at least have if possible at least a mouthful. I complained to the manager and she did reduce the bill which I decided covered the drinks we had consumed. Will not be using this resturant again, very disappointed.

We booked here for my nephews 21st birthday yesterday. 25 people for the Hero buffet. When we arrived we ordered drinks & the men were all asked for ID. ALL look over 18 & had just been go karting nearby for the day. As the birthday boy didn't have ID, they refused to serve everyone alcohol!! The staff who were extremely rude & uninviting (like we were not welcome!) called the manager who was also extremely rude & stated that no one in our group could have an alcoholic drink, not even my 64 year old parents!! The area we were supposed to be seated in wasnt even prepared!! So we cancelled our booking & went to TGI's next door who served everyone without a problem!! It was their loss as we spent £800 in total next door & had a fantastic night!! Will NEVER step foot in this place again. It was filthy! The tables felt like they had never been wiped! Stay clear!

Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Staff are uninterested. Don’t care. Tables and sticky. Menus are sticky. We sat down and waited for over 10 minutes to be served and eventually gave up and went up to the bar to order. About 5 minutes later staff came over to the tables next to us and asked them what they wanted to order. They never once came across to see if we needed anything or how the meal was. Food is bland and tasteless. Avoid at all costs.

They did refund 1 meal that didn't have avocado. They tried to say it was chopped up fine, checked further and there was none. Then admitted and offered to fairly refund. But then two other meals came out, also didn't have published avocado and one was even called avocado salad. They just added peas. They should have just said, Instead of blagging it which put the waitress on the spot. Plus, they ramp the volume up so loud for the football that we could not have a conversation, even about the football and couldn't wait to get out. The other meals were good. Especially fish finger baguette

A great place, but the "entertainment" lately hasn't been good! A terrible karaoke singer and awful drag act called "Queens Court" was really off putting. Our group went elsewhere that night, and when we passed later seemed others felt the same as it was a lot emptier than usual. Hopefully it was a one off

Pure extortion of public pure and simple, this is a place I would gladly see shut down by people refusing to pay £6.35 for a pint of guineas, Jesus almighty people avoid like the plauge and seek out Wetherapoons about 1 mile away

0 star for me. Turned up and the doorman said they were full although they had loads of seats available inside and outside. Been here loads of times with 0 issues but this was a strange encounter and really hope this was not a racist policy for the England game

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE FOR THE EUROS. We had a table booked upstairs until 8pm for the England v Slovenia game. At about 7.45pm a bouncer was sent around to move everybody from their tables and was rude to anyone who questioned why they were being moved before their reservation had ended. I figured the staff may give a more polite reason for why we had to move before our reservation had ended, but no, they were almost as dismissive as the bouncer. Bad experience, expensive beer.

I visited today for a long over due catch up with a friend, the food was lovely and so were the drinks. However, as I sat waiting for my friend I over heard the waiting staff complaining because there was a bottomless brunch booked for vegetarian and non alcoholic beverages. They stated…” what the point! Might as well not bother “ this was my booking! I just wanted to point out that those comments are not necessary and offensive! Opinions should be kept at a minimum, my choices don’t hurt anyone. With that said I do like coming to MT.
