Was really busy when we went so we left. Didn't like it.

Had a brilliant time at Midsummer Tap in Milton Keynes! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a modern yet rustic decor that makes it perfect for both casual drinks and watching sports. The outdoor seating area is a great spot to enjoy a sunny day. The menu offers a variety of tasty options. I tried the Katsu Chicken, which was crispy and flavorful, served with spicy rice and a rich curry sauce. The stone-baked pizzas are also a highlight; the Tandoori Chicken pizza had a great balance of spice and flavor. For those looking for lighter bites, the Chicken & Chorizo Croquettes are a must-try. Drinks-wise, there's an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the "Papa Don’t Peach" cocktail – refreshing and perfect for the warm weather. They also have a 2-for-1 cocktail offer, which is a great deal. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Special shoutout to the team for their excellent service. Whether you're out for a meal, drinks, or to catch a game, Midsummer Tap is a fantastic choice.

We went to watch European football on a Thursday night. They had all the screens on but turned down. Was running a quiz night instead. Unbelievable. Who does that on a Thurs.

Ashleigh gave the perfect measurements of alcohol for our bottomless brunch. It was 25.000000000000000000000000000000000000ml according to my nasa funded equipment. Any staff member this dedicated to serving to this level of perfection. Not only that but donald trump was in the venue and he offered Ashleigh a job as his personal PA but she turned it down to have the opportunity to make me another Piña Colada. She also shined my shoes and taught me how to boil and egg to feed my family of 2.

Came for Brunch and Kayleigh went above and beyond. Haven’t had so much fun at a brunch

I'm part of a group that runs Hikes around Milton Keynes and we have been looking for a new location to hold Pub Quizzes in MK as our previous location closed down. Midsummer Tap came out on top as the obvious option, Chad and the team were quick to respond to my enquiries and get us a routinely booked table so I didn't have to worry! On the night we were welcomed by the team, who have genuine and down to earth vibes, and the quiz itself was fantastic (it's also FREE to play!) Thank you all!!

She gave us multiple names from many different places to call her and she answered even if we barely spoke one of the names x best server I have ever had!! Definitely deserves a raise! 10/10 amazing server!

We visited here as a group for bottomless brunch to celebrate my birthday. Kayleigh (Sheila 😂) was our waitress for the afternoon and was wonderful. She was so friendly and really went the extra mile for us. The drink selection was very good and the food was delicious. Will definitely return ☺️

Had a bottomless brunch on sat 19th April for the start of my wife’s 40th birthday celebrations chad and his team are the very beast at what they do quality of service food and atmosphere was fantastic already looking to book another bottomless brunch very soon we all had a fantastic time and cannot wait to go back cannot thank chad and his team enough and will continue to spread the word on the best bottomless brunch any of us had ever had🫡

I went to an R & B, 80s/90s, and gospel music 🎶 night. I didn’t eat any food only a packet of crisps but would definitely go again.

Drank a few pints here on my first day in England, visiting from the US. Loved it! I was curious about historic British and local craft beers and the staff at Midsummer Tap was eager to help me indulge. They were terrific and made perfect recommendations from their wide selection. The surprise winner for me was the nitro pour of the Italian Birra Moretti. Spectacular stuff. But I also enjoyed several English craft beers immensely. The bar staff could not have been nicer. My friends and I felt very welcome and I will seek out this pub on my next trip to England. Thank you!

Just been back after the menu change. Still as brilliant as ever, but the food is improved even more. Has the Fajita Bowl. Wow! 🤩 🤤 stunning!! Cooked by Ash apparently so compliments to the Chef!! Great service from Chad and B who were super busy but hugely attentive and hospitable. Brilliant place!

There last night for my cousins birthday! Great food & not stingy! Drinks were lust especially the cherry cola! Staff were fab and after the sports the dance floor was open!

I’m sure it’s great if you want to have a drink and watch football but save yourself the pain of eating there…this was supposed to be a Buddha bowl pre theatre…it was plain rice, a few strands of greasy fried peppers and tomato and onion with a bowl of mayonnaise in the middle…the weirdest and most stomach churning meal I’ve had to pay for some time, ( £12.50!!) and when I questioned it with the waiter he first of all said ‘that’s just how it comes out’, then ‘I don’t have time to hear about it’ followed by ‘what do you want me to do about it’. Other family members meals were ok and at least edible but pretty small. Won’t bother again - Gross food and rude staff…

I was in this place Friday evening before last, there were only 2 people at the bar and my girlfriend and I were next to be served, unless your a person of colour that is. This barman decided to serve someone who came to the bar after us, so I said to the guy remember this face so that you don't ignore us again by serving someone else and we would like to get served. He said that if I spoke to him like that he wouldn't serve me, so I reminded him that he wasn't serving us in the first place. He then went and whispered into who I thought was a barmaids ear not to serve us, so I told the guy behind us that he might as well try his luck with this guy if he wanted a drink, as he wasn't serving us anyway. So I asked the barmaid that I'd like to speak to the manager and she said that she was, so I told her what had actually happened and she said that I was rude. I'm a doorman so I know what rude is and told her that if that was rude then she needs to get out more, and asked her if she was gonna serve me. She said if I carried on being rude that she would tell us to leave, so I reminded her that if she wasn't gonna serve me then I wouldn't be staying anyway so are you gonna serve me? She said no so I asked for her name for reference, she said Sienna and my girlfriend and I left. We walked past at least 5 other places that sell beer and doubles and into Revolution de Cuba, straight away we were seen at the bar and I thanked the barman for not ignoring us as I explained about our experience in Midsummer Tap. We even had a table and actual chairs to sit at, instead of standing around or a bad back from sitting on a wooden bench and had a great night drinking and dancing until 2:20am. I will say that the old barstaff from around 8 months ago at Midsummer, were always polite and knew how to count to 3 so It's a shame that none of them were working Friday night. Then we have zero negative feedback showing, on other customer feedback sites? I was there last year and ordered some chicken wings, they were clearly overcooked and left in they're airfryer for to long not even cooked on the grill. So I complained and wasn't even offered any compensation, so I left negative feedback warning future customers and yet when you look on their review sites it's vanished and I can't be alone in this very strange.

We had the best bottomless brunch here on Saturday. Served by Chad, who was absolutely fabulous and so attentive! Literally our new favourite place and we can't wait to come back!

Have to say as single diner I was treated so kind and found a table even though booked up. I don't know the servers name one was a man with glasses and the other was a tall blonde lady. They were a credit to you. Thank you

We had a bottomless brunch 17/2/25, we arrived an hour early for our slot & the nice lady Lucy who greeted us was great & said no problem & moved our time straight away, the food was great, I had the pizza which was lovely, Chad behind the bar was fantastic, great cocktails & the service from Chad & Lucy was fantastic the whole time we was there, we will definitely be returning, thank you.

I asked to a FB group for a pub in MK to watch S6Nations rugby tournament, and one of the best ranked was this. We have never been there before, so it sounded an ideal opportunity to know a new place. We went there without a booking, and we got a table close to one of many available screens. The food and drinks we great! Prior to the match, the channel was ready... but not the original sound. There was a DJ playing music (good music selection, I must say) and we never listened the game comments. In the end, the ambient was friendly and enthusiastic, and people from the pub were kind and helpful. But next time, if I want to watch a game (and listen it) maybe I will choose to go somewhere else.

Good food and cocktails, great service from our waitress but the general manager was extremely rude and abrupt, was in utter shock how he spoke to us just over a little mis communication , I honestly think he should rethink his career as hospitality clearly isn't for him, gave the impression that he didn't like his job or the general public for that matter . Will definitely not go back.

Lovely all across the board. The atmosphere is nice, I love the decor personally very warm and inviting. The staff I met were wonderful, Chad was very friendly and helpful during my visit and made my visit very pleasant. The food and drinks I’ve tried so far were delicious. No complaints whatsoever, very highly recommended and I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

I recently visited the Midsummer Tap, 12th district in Milton Keynes for the first time, and it was an excellent experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which instantly set the tone for a great lunch. The atmosphere was vibrant and cozy, with cool decor and festive touches that made it feel unique. The music was spot on, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing date lunch. To top it all off, I have to mention the Diavola pizza I ordered was absolutely delicious—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and satisfying. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I'm not sure what's happened here, but the food has massively changed from mediocre to just delightful. The nachos are a clear 10/10 and the triple Go big or go home burger was amazing. My daughter had the Karaage and rated it an 11/10. All of the staff here were perfect as usual. The manager, Chad and his staff served us very quickly and the food arrived without delay. I will 100% be adding this place as a place to eat every time. Sorry about the picture, that's all that was left.

Always packed and atmospheric on matchdays, particularly midweek fixtures. I commute to MK for work and often find myself here on match nights. I've been three times now, twice being alone and I've always ended up on a table with welcoming locals to share a pint with. Lovely community feel to it and anywhere that serves wings by the kilo gets 5 stars from me. Plenty of screens and they simultaneously show as many games as possible

Chad was amazing! He hosted me and my team for a training course today and delivered top service! He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic and I couldn’t recommend this pub enough! If you're are comics geek this is probably the best pub for you, but if you're indifferent towards comics so it's way too much dropped into your face and quite awkward atmosphere to have pint in... Didn't try any foods, therefore can't comment on it.

Moved to Milton Keynes recently, checking out a few places. I found midsummer tap and food was great! What stood out to me was the service from the staff. Especially chad who made me feel welcome and like it was my local. I've been back every week since. So thankyou chad and the other staff front and back ❤️

Went to this astablishment prior to matinee theatre performance, booked table for 8 ended up being 10 ordered drinks and food, waited quite a long timevfor food to arrive but big party so accepted that, but when food actually came food was cold chips you couldnt say were even luke warm, told staff and they said they would heat it up, then they came back and we were informed it would be another 45 minutes we would have wait as other customers were before us. By this time we had no option but to take the (food) and at least have if possible at least a mouthful. I complained to the manager and she did reduce the bill which I decided covered the drinks we had consumed. Will not be using this resturant again, very disappointed.

We booked here for my nephews 21st birthday yesterday. 25 people for the Hero buffet. When we arrived we ordered drinks & the men were all asked for ID. ALL look over 18 & had just been go karting nearby for the day. As the birthday boy didn't have ID, they refused to serve everyone alcohol!! The staff who were extremely rude & uninviting (like we were not welcome!) called the manager who was also extremely rude & stated that no one in our group could have an alcoholic drink, not even my 64 year old parents!! The area we were supposed to be seated in wasnt even prepared!! So we cancelled our booking & went to TGI's next door who served everyone without a problem!! It was their loss as we spent £800 in total next door & had a fantastic night!! Will NEVER step foot in this place again. It was filthy! The tables felt like they had never been wiped! Stay clear!
