New Hong Kong in Milton Keynes

This is by far one is the best authentic Chinese takeaway I have had the pleasure of finding. I have been using them for many years and travel from Northamptonshire and despite being at least 35 mins travel back, the food is always piping hot and delicious when I get home. MK are so lucky to have such a great takeaway on their doorstep!! Being chinese, I always found it difficult to find takeaways that offer authentic dishes and they have introduced popular Hong Kong dishes that you only find in certain Chinese clientele restaurants in the cities. It is far superior than other takeaways in taste and menu options. Thank you NHK

Not sure if it's changed hands or just has new staff that answer the phone who, 1 doesn't want to be there, 2 too young and needs to learn some manors, 3 or doesn't know the menu and is just a rude young lady!!!! Went and picked up the order and yes she's just as rude in person. Very sad ,food was ok bit won't be back in a hurry

I had the deep fried shredded beef with chilli and special fried rice. Whilst portions were good, the quality was below average. Friendly staff but would not return

This is our favourite takeaway in milton keynes. The food is always hot, fresh and great value for money. We also visit kam tong garden to eat in but takeaway wise, this place is always busy, an army of chefs getting through tonnes of orders and this does not affect the service and quality. Highly recommend 👌

The most tasteless chinese I've had. Found it expensive to my normal place.

Food wasent very nice no taste or flavour at all. Ordered a egg fried rice was given prawn fried rice so that was put in the bin as the whole portion of rice tasted of fish.

The shop sells Chinese style food that suits local customers, so it is not HK style esp. the sauce. If you come from HK, manage your expectation properly.

This is the best Chinese takeaway in mk polite, friendly staff, 10/10 food quality

The food is delicious. You place your order over the phone 10-15 minutes in advance and then pick it up. It’s convenient and fast. The staff speaks Cantonese and is extremely friendly.

There are very few times where I have been blown away by the food and experience with takeaway shops, and this shop was one of them. Starting with the staff, they were very professional and provided helpful information regarding the food ensuring our choices were suitable for us. The food was freshly made and was nothing less than incredible ; they have a wide range of foods that are suitable for all types of people and their preferences. I would recommend this place to anyone that is passing through the area and can ensure they will have the pleasant and comfortable experience I had.

Never go to this Chinese they don't have a clue what there doing the food never came after an hour and half wait please don't do it to urself go anywhere but hear and the food in the past was shocking don't know why I went back fool

I had the Black Bean Beef Noodles. It tasted amazing. The portions were good and the price was fair. The staff & service were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return here. If you want authentic Hong Kong food in Birmingham. Come here. You won't be disappointed

Wow this is the best Chinese ever and am disgusted with the some of the reviews as whatever your political view does not make them a bad Chinese there food is outstanding same as there service everything about this chinese is A* I have been going here for 5+years at least once a week and never had a bad experience or meal and will continue to order from them every week

Seeing reviews on here about political views, since when has that had anything to do with the amazing food these guys serve every time, top top quality food would deffo recommend and even better people, amazing service as usual

quite literally the best chinese food about! absolute nonsense with these reviews about politics? it’s a good place and would highly 100% recommend to everyone i know. the best most friendly people working too who always supply the best of the best. been going here for 6+ years and will continue to do so.

Never been there before but I think I should give you a five star to balance the disgusting remarks out. The lefties are always chanting for diversity and inclusiveness, and yet they cannot even tolerate a restaurant to demonstrate their political stance? If you reckon everyone must align with your ideology, then that's not diverse and inclusive at all. To bombard a restaurant with bad reviews for reasons completely unrelated to the quality of service, you all just like the pinkies in mainland China.

Used to like this restaurant until I found out that they are backers of the tory party. Won't be going again.

I’ve always been pretty fussy when it comes to takeaway, as in if I don’t like it I won’t go back. This place is amazing, I’ve tried a couple of my favourite dishes and they haven’t disappointed so will keep coming here as my regular for Chinese.

Very disappointing. Crispy duck was almost cremated and cucumber didn't look particularly fresh. Chicken in Black bean sauce had lumps of meat that were very dry. I'm guessing it was pre-cooked and left under a heat lamp.

It's not as good as it used to be. The sweet & sour sauce just tasted of vinegar and the bbq sauce was overwhelmed by tomato sauce. The chop suey was really greasy. Sorry, I wanted it to be great but I will look for a another takeaway the next time I want Chinese food.

Disgusting & horrible The gravy, sauce was like jelly, sticky. Too thick. Smelt bad. The mongolian lamb tasted like poison. The deep fried squid was chewy & dry. We had to throw it in the bin after buying 5 dishes. If someone says food is nice here I can only say those people have not really tried good, quality food & they got really cheap taste with no classy experience. We travel alot & try amazing food. I know take aways cannot be compared to food we try. We just wanted to try this place for first time. This place is worser than the worst take away. Will never buy. Will never recommend!

Every time I go here I regret it. The food is freshly cooked, it looks amazing and then you realize it has 20 gms of sugar in it. Why? It would have been better without it and so would I 😞

DISHES MADE WITH LOVE AND PASSION This time we ordered Chowmein 35 and 35A. Portion are generous, ingredients look and taste fresh. Veggies have bright colour, prawns are always rich and clean. Chicken was well chopped and pork in slice. Seafood was good looking and tasty. Staff extremely friendly and patient. Speed service depending from how many orders they have but they tell you when the waiting is long. I recommend these two dishes.

Best Chinese takeaway we've tried in Milton Keynes so far...not our local but worth the drive! The food is very tasty, ingredients feel fresh and high quality. The food isn't oily and they have good size portions. You can see the kitchen is clean and well organised and the staff are super friendly.

Been using this Chinese for 10+ years. Today for the first time I complained. They said to bring the dish back and couldn’t offer any alternative. I am not going back out mid meal wasting my time and fuel so they can inspect the absolute rubbish they just gave us. Bye Bye Hong Kong. Will not be going back - disgusting behaviour!

Order took ages and then one of the meals was missing. Tried the call them and they'd already closed. Won't be ordering again despite what the food tastes like!

A take-out. No inside dining. One of the best Chinese in Milton Keynes. Our first choice. Parking at front with a tesco shop next door. Very popular, so gets really busy.

Received the wrong order for the second time . One of my order was singapore fried rice (spicy) but instead I received some other rice with curry not spicy . and also the banana fritter was too soggy 🙄😩. I didn't enjoy the food this time 😣

Great service, do more than u expect ! Order few dishes that is not on the menu, turns out the chef have nail it! Incredible taste and absolutely authentic Chinese taste. We are one of the lucky customer to receive the mini bag free side, the kids love it thank you!

Well, they charge for chill sauces. And amount they give is so little. I dont understand why they are £2-3 expensive compared to the other Hong Kong place. But food was ok.

Excellent value for money. Very tasty. Just wish the sweet and sour in the set meal was in a slightly larger pot! Not quite enough for two. Can’t fault this takeaway; its the best Chinese by far and is very reasonably priced. Not dropping a star for this but they don’t (yet) offer a delivery service. Thoroughly recommended.

Good take away, but not quite like it used to be. Egg fried rice was served as plain rice as ordered. Still nice but need some improvements.

Food was quick, piping hot and very tasty. We had Satay Skewers, beef with cashews and the egg fried rice was nice and light. I would reccomend it.

Have used this takeaway regularly for over 10 years now - first class food and service. Wouldn't go anywhere else for Chinese food. Superb.

Brilliant as always. Has got more expensive in the last couple of years, but the food is consistently good. No delivery though.
