We tried lamb Karahi, Mix grill, Chicken wings, lamb chops, rice, kebabs, tikka, Karachi bun kebab. The food was amazing. Authentic taste. Mr Shahid and Miss Simran were very professional and friendly. When asked about the portion size and other details of the food, they guided us really well. The interior is fairly decent , the bathrooms were clean as well. Definitely a place to visit and I highly recommend it.

Staff failed to keep noise down from loud guest children running awol - food was OK but more chicken than meat & far too expensive for a platter that was meant to be for 4-6 people but more like just enough for 4 - loaded with chips to full up platter space

Friendly place and great value, I was surprised at how much chicken was in the curry, lamb ribs were juicy, looking forward to going back!

If you want an authentic desi vibe then this is your place. A great selection of Pakistani cuisine and the taste makes you nostalgic of Lahori food. Plus the staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home.

Decided to try somewhere new & stumbled across this place, didn’t have high hopes from the appearance but staff seemed friendly enough. We ordered masala fish, very tasty & cooked well, chapli kebab, juicy & full of flavour & haleem, plenty of meat & came with a plate full of garnishing. We also ordered 1 naan, 3 rotis & 4 cans of pop. Everything arrived fresh, piping hot & very tasty, we were shocked at how well priced it was at £45 for the lot! Would deffo come back.

I ordered a chicken karahi and 2 nans. When the food came, I had to send one nan back as it was really small and burnt. It was being passed on to me as crispy when it was solid and burnt underneath. The replacement nan came, and it was okay. The curry, however, was what made me regret ordering the dish as it was full of oil and green chillies. I had asked specifically for a medium spiced dish, and it was extremely hot and full of oil. No taste apart from chillies and oil. 3 stars for service as it wasn't actually the waitresses fault. However, she did try and pass the nan as "crispy" when it was quite clealry burnt. Quality of food was very low as a whole for the prices they charge you'd think they make it worthwhile but clearly wasn't the case.

Best Saji in town and also good value + portion size. It's definitely worth driving from Leamington

We ordered the 1/2 lamb and rice platter for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. We Only gave the restaurant less than 24 hrs notice, although delivery was a teeny bit late, it was definitely worth the wait!! Everyone who came said it was the best lamb and rice they’d had! Highly highly recommend to go to these guys if you want to cater for a large gathering/party without the hassle of cooking! Will definitely be ordering again in the future, thank you guys!!

Nice food bring my family & friend from Aylesbury

Previous experiences were good. But when I visited last time on Sunday. Asked for lahori kadai but the entire taste was of charsi kadai. Seems like they have given me 2 to 3 days old charsi kadahi. I had food poising immediately same night. Also waiter was non attentive. Didnt come to take the order. Had to go myself to place the order although it was all empty. May not go again after this experience.

I visited Khyber Chefs for dinner yesterday and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was nice and clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We don’t have that many Pakistani restaurants in Milton Keynes but this one definitely lived up to the Pakistani taste buds. It’s definitely a place I would be visiting more regularly.

I ordered chapli kabab and it was fully raw like red raw meat inside 🤢 I really don’t recommend i wish i could attach a picture of there food very disappointed… and when you tell them about there food they only have 1 answer ( I’ll give you discount on your next order) as if I’m going to order again 🙅🏻‍♀️ Yes you did send 2 raw kabab again if you want i can bring that back

We all know , that kadhai's and biryani are most famous things here, but this time i have actually tried their lamb biryani and achari chicken kadahi and omg the taste is outstanding . Then i asked for strawberry mocktail and it was so so gooood . And what about service , service is excellent , staff is so helpful and corporative . Definitely will visit again .

The problem we had was those from our party who had the lamb kabab or chapli kabab, all got food poisoning because it was undercooked. Those who had the chicken were fine and enjoyed it. Service wasn't the best but not bad, so overall 2 stars.

My first time eating their and I was really happy with th food and the service, it is very clean and friendly place to eat. They have different varieties of meals to choose from and cooked to perfection. This place is my new place to dine 100%

The food was really good, and the service was top-notch! They really do pay attention to detail when it comes to service. I had a great experience dining in. The portion size of the biriyani was generous. I will definitely recommend this place!

Khyber chefs is one of the best Asian, Pakistani, and Indian food place in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.

We went there for daughter’s birthday dinner and had a great time. Food was absolutely delicious warm atmosphere and teams were great. Will definitely visit again and highly recommended 😊

We had chicken Karahi and seekh kebab. Pretty good. Seemed to have been home cooked instead of using the sauce, that most Indian restaurants do. Plenty of room to improve the ambiance though. .

I always like to try somewhere new when I am working away and read some good reviews about this place so decided to give them a try- once I tried the food I was so glad I did. Ordered the samosas for starters which were amazing and then the chicken tikka masala for mains with naan. Wow what an amazing curry full of flavour, really well spiced and delicious- genuinely one of the best curries I have had in a long time. For the generous portion sizes, taste and flavour the price is amazing would strongly recommend these guys and will definitely be ordering again when I am down in Milton Keynes next- a real gem and must try

Was going home from a family day out and stopped here for some food after reading the positive reviews, and I must say the food was amazing, everything we ordered was perfect the Sheesh kebabs perfect the chicken achar karai was the best when we got home the Mrs said we should have ordered the chicken for takeout, will definitely be going again.

Best place to explore Asian food specially Pakistani food , their paneer tikka is my personal favorite now and the service is excellent , the girl who served me is very kind and helpful , she really suggest me best items of restaurant.

Best desi halal food in Milton Keynes... The desi breakfast, Nihari, chicken achari, Biryani and Kabuli Pilao and malai boti are the best ones to try need improvement in the charsi karahi and curries section but overall the food is outstanding and authentic.

Being a huge foodie believe me when I say this is the best place for Afghani cuisine. We had the Lahori Charsi, naan omg the flavours were awesome. If you want the most authentic Afghani cuisine in Milton Keynes head over to this awesome independent Restaurent!

We tried halwa poori on someone's recommendation and glad that we did. This is by far the best authentic halwa poori in Milton Keynes. Pooris were cooked perfectly and came with a chana salan , an aalu salan and halwa. Massive portions ! Cant fault the taste. It is a must try !!! On street parking is free.

Quite potentially the worst dining experience ever... We were seated and were waiting and waiting for the food, a table came 20 minutes after and ordered 6 items which came before ours, I was even able to go next door and get some chicken wings as we were hungry and managed to eat them with the food still not arriving . At around the 45 minute mark we were told a few minutes and our food would be ready (we ordered a sharing curry and naan only) and then after a few minutes we were told another 5 minutes and it still didn't arrive, so we got up and left and paid for 2 drinks which we had... Really disappointed, couldn't even grade the food because the service was terrible enough for it to not arrive in the span of just under an hour.

I have been to this restaurant today with my wife we ordered chapli kabab and charsi karahi as someone recommend this to us to try . We really enjoyed our food it was delicious and specially the lady who served us her name was simran she was very comparative and served us with smile . We will definitely go there again and recommend this restaurant who loves traditional pakistani and Indian food . 😀

Went to this restaurant recently and everything seemed ok until I entered. Went to the counter to enquire about something and the lady was on a call and did not even acknowledge us until a couple to a few mins later. Me and my friend got seated and ordered drinks, curry and a naan. Waited 15 mins initially and could see that a table which came after us got there food first so we were slightly disappointed. Waited longer now up to 35 mins and mentioned to the staff member where is our food? In which they replied a few more mins. Coming up to 45 mins now and no sign of anything. Had to leave, as the food was taking far too long. Very disappointed with the service and staff did not even have the courtesy to acknowledge us and keep us updated on the waiting times.

We had our first visit here, and it was amazing , we couldn’t fault anything, people were lovely, we had a shared platter, asked for it with no fish and that’s what we got, as I say we couldn’t fault anything. 🤗

The Charsi karahi here is literally amongst the best I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. The chef is amazing! Whenever passing Milton Keynes I make a point to come here. On this occasion I pre ordered and got takeout. You call also call in advance and order to nullify the wait time, some dishes need a while to cook as everything is made fresh. Milkshakes are very nice and great if you have kids or those that can’t handle the spice! For what it is, where it is…it is over priced in my opinion. It’s quite quiet for the local area because of this. That said however, if you’re travelling for an epic , this should be top of the list

Bones in chicken, worst Indian food I've had

The restaurant serves delicious Pakistani & Afghani cuisine. The ambiance and customer service is excellent. There karahis, kabuli pulao and grilled food is by far the best in Milton Keynes and is highly recommended.

The food was delicios, we had the chicken byriani, the mix grill, Lahori Chicken Kadahi Main and veggie samosas. Everything tasted amazing, full of different flavours, different from other places we ordered before. The young lady at the till was very helpful and polite, we had to wait a few minutes to pixk up the food and sat a table, restaurant looked very cleaned and looked after. Will definitely order again!

We came across this place by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the tawa platter and kabuli pulao for a family of 6 and it was a perfect amount for us. Came in and we were told to pick any table as the restaurant was empty at the time. Once sat down, the waitress gave us the menus. 20 minutes passed and no staff came to our table to ask what we wanted to order, so feeling disrespected, we left and went to another restaurant where we served straight away. It seemed to us that the staff were not interested in serving us at all and almost felt like we had broken some unwritten rule that we shouldn't have entered in the first place.

This review is for Khyber Chef Restaurant in Milton Keynes, where we recently ordered catered food for a Mehndi function with over 100 guests. We opted for chicken korma, meat korma, chana rice, and mutanjan for dessert. I must say, the food was beyond fantastic and received rave reviews from everyone. The quality of the dishes was top-notch, and it was evident that no corners were cut in its preparation. The portion sizes were also more than generous, ensuring that there was more than enough food for all our guests. As an added bonus, the restaurant provided three members of their staff to assist with serving, allowing us to fully enjoy our function without any worries. We came Milton from Birmingham for our holidays. We found Khyber while looking for halal restaurants. Ordered Biryani and Bihari boti with not high expectations to be as good as Karachi Biryani. But wallah it took us back to Pakistan. Biryani was as spicy to our like and so was Bihari boti. Impressed by the customer service and food. We wanted to have their Karak Chai aswel which was adviced to have with Gulab Jamun. We came out so happy. Thanks Khyber for making our day so good. If i could give more than 5 stars i would to this restaurant and staff.

I have been ordering from Khyber Chefs for over a year now, and have never been disappointed, not a single item was bad in any order, always amazing. Recently, I have been to the restaurant with a friend who loves and appreciates good food, and he was immensely impressed with the quality and service. I went again today with my wife and she loved everything about it. It is super impressive how they are consistently good. If you have time for only one restaurant in Milton Keynes, I highly recommend this one. Pro tip: order the Lahori Lamb Kadahi, and don’t miss the peshwari naan and mango lassi.

We were a group of 14. Their Mutton biriani is excellent. Also the chicken curry was a hit with the group.

I tried the food in a wedding it was good specially lamb korma the pulao could be better but I liked your service your staff was too friendly maintaining everything clean and managed great by only 2 persons great I would like to recommend your catering to everyone for every function.
