Tried to pop in for lunch on a Saturday. Place was almost empty but couldn't have lunch as it was bookings only. Strange as there were so many tables. The Tudor building and decor was lovely though. Suggest that you book ahead.

Brought my family for Sunday lunch. There were 9 of us and the service was friendly and very efficient. The menu range was excellent and everyone found something they liked. The food was delicious! This is my fav place in Tewkesbury which is why I suggested it and they really didn’t let me down. Thank you!

Ate here twice whilst staying locally. First time I had Haddock and Chips. Large piece of fish and tasted lovely with large chips cooked nicely. Returned again as it was good the first time BUT second time I ordered pork belly - what a disappointment!! Small piece of over cooked pork on small bed of mash and 2 old pieces of spring onion. No vegetables. Absolute rubbish. Shame as it’s a nice venue but couldn’t recommend it now.

We had a fantastic stay, the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal was great we had starters and a main which we couldn't fault. We stayed here on the winter break which was good value for money. They is a car park at the back of the hotel. I really cannot praise this hotel enough I would very highly recommend staying here

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel from top to bottom. The staff were also excellent, especially the team member who I think was the manager, he very kindly helped me with my case, showed us the priest hole and went out to get smoked salmon for my mother in law so she could have the breakfast she wanted (when the usual delivery hadn't arrived). We will definitely be back and for more time.

Lovely hotel full of helpful staff. Super dog friendly and safe for solo traveling. Would highly recommend, wish we stayed for more then one night. The only two points for improvement, parking isn't clearing signposted and toast was cold before breakfast was served. But overall a great stay and would visit again!

Wow, what a lovely room we have at this hotel. We've enjoyed a hot drink in the room on the sofa overlooking the canal. Dinner here was yummy. Brilliant service. Food was delicious. Would definitely visit here again.

We booked bed and breakfast last weekend room 106. Lovely spacious room, modern bathroom. We had an afternoon meal in the restaurant, food was lovely, breakfast was great value, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here, and will most definitely book again. Lovely hotel full of history and many original features from the original 100s of years ago.

We had a great night at the Tudor, stayed in room 209 which was right at the top overlooking the High Street. Although compact the room was fine for a night and had a decent sized modern bathroom with a great shower. We didn’t eat there but had a drink in the bar which was great although had the hotel ‘price’! It’s a quirky old building with the feel of a stately home with big old pictures of kings on the wall, our room had a wonky floor which was funny, enjoyed the it!

Wowww the food quality has plummeted in this place. 2 years ago, this was our favourite place to eat and would have to order separate portions of chips to avoid squabbling over them. Neither of us finished our meals and £8 for an egg mayonnaise sandwich which essentially came in sliced bread...like out of a packet sliced bread!? With barely an egg in there and mostly mayonnaise? Think we'll be going elsewhere in future! Shame as the staff are really lovely!

Extremely overpriced for a tiny portion of not particularly high quality food. You should be ashamed Tudor House Hotel. Staff were lovely though.

We booked this very last minute after a long car journey and were very pleasantly surprised! Staff were incredibly friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They dug out the final bottle of my mums favourite wine which was a huge plus! Very comfortable and clean room, great central location. Food was okay but acceptable and the service more than made up for it. Highly recommend!

Lovely stay in an old hotel in the centre of Tewkesbury. Good food, lovely quiet and warm room and great staff, all for about the same price as a soulless budget chain hotel.

Just enjoyed a lovely weekend at this hotel, we were part of a large party and the hotel catered for us perfectly. Our room was clean and tidy and breakfast was more than adequate. Great staff too no faults from me.

Myself and my now wife had our wedding at Lower Lode Inn. We held the ceremony in front of the water, along with a marquee. Sam, the landlady, was so helpful and helped make it the perfect day alongside her amazing team of bar and floor staff. The day could not have gone any better. Thank you so much to everyone at the Lower Lode Inn.

Booked The Boathouse to celebrate my son's 21st birthday with family and friends. Absolutely perfect. The weather was on our side (no good if wet, as food has to come down from the kitchen via the outside area!!). This meant we could have the bifold doors open and use the terrace area as well. Service was brilliant. Attentive but not overly so. All staff were friendly and professional. Food was superb with everything as per our pre-order. Really was a lovely evening. Recommended The Fleet before and great to be able to book for a family celebration in a private room.
