What an overpriced, overrated bakery. This has to be the most overpriced average bakery in Surrey. Staff are rude and the food supplied just awful. Give this bakery a big miss!

Love this bakers the bread tastes amazing and alway cooked fresh during the night, hot cross buns are light a fluffy so much better than the mass produced supermarket ones, sausage rolls are lovely and not full of grease. They have a good selection of pies and cakes that are really good, I would highly recommend, staff are friendly and shop is always clean.

I went into the Tudor bakery last week and was so shocked when the very rude member of staff told me a loaf of bread would be £3.75! £4.60 for a sausage in a bun! This place is ripping people off daily and I find it horrid that the staff have no manners whatsoever! Was told to go elsewhere if I didn’t like it!!! With the cost of living and this bakery serving the elderly daily I find it appalling to charge £3.75 for a loaf of bread!!! No wonder people go hungry with those shocking prices! Disgusting

Traditional independent bakeries are getting scarce now and even more scarce in London especially central London where rents are high. On my quest to visit as many bakeries in the past year, I have only managed to visit around 4-5 which is alarmingly low. Finding a bakery which has cream slices is even more difficult and so far I have only found one in London. The frustrating thing is that there is no social media or even Facebook to get in touch with this bakery. The reason I would want to check out their Facebook/instagram is to see what types of bakery they do and no one has even posted anything about this place. I have been meaning to visit this bakery but it is just off the radar meaning I would have to endure a 45 minute bus journey when there are temptations in London which is only a 10 minute journey a way. Finally I dedicated a Saturday to visit this bakery and the reason I say dedicate is because I simply can't resist these delicious treats meaning I will be buying some. You can't exactly be going shopping elsewhere swinging delicate cakes in your hands. To avoid any imperfections, I took some photos before getting the bus which was fortunate because one of the pieces did get deformed but luckily the star of the show didn't. Anyway, getting back to this amazing bakery called Tudor Bakery, I was greeted with all the familiar treats like iced buns, cream doughnuts, custard doughnuts, cookies, bakewell tarts, savoury slices, London cheesecakes and rolls etc and most importantly the Cream Slice which I have been on a quest for. Seeing a CREAM SLICE is a rarity! When was the last time you saw a cream slice at your local bakery because you can only buy commercially made ones these days. The cream slice is my absolute favourite because my grandma always used to get me them. I was elated when they said it was fresh cream because it just doesn't taste the same with synthetic cream. I ended up getting a cream slice and strawberry Danish. The cream slice at Tudor Bakery was slightly different as it was basically the top layer with icing filled with cream and the bottom layer which had a thin layer of strawberry jam on it. To summarize, this was the best non commercial cream slice filled with fresh cream. I appreciate traditional bakery attire that the staff were wearing because most uniforms are quite modern these days. This is the second bakery to wear traditional bakery uniform. In a way, I am fortunate that I am far away other wise I could easily be back getting the cream slice and other treats too often.

415 Brighton RoadArrived at the carvery in a party of five, two children under seven, and three adults, the children thoughrouly enjoyed the roast along with us adults, staff attentive, without being overpowering food was pretty good with a good selection of meats and vegetables, sweet was great value for the children, and was a great experience for all. Dined at about 16.30 looked to get busy about 17.30 but fresh joints of meat and veggies were constantly being brought out for the customers.

36 High StreetIf i could give this club 0 stars i would, it doesnt even deserve the one star just for me to leave a review! I dont usually leave ratings unless something has really bothered me. Me, my sister and my friend decided to go out for Easter Sunday to let our hair down, none of us had seen each other for a long time. When we got to the club, my friend went over politely to let the Secruity thats doing ID Checks know that she completely forgot her ID BUT she has it on her phone AND the two of us had our ID also. The Secruity man turnt round and said “ No i’m not letting you in but if you came in with men i would of let you in” so he was being sexist because if we had a couple guys with us he would of let her in?? Even after that nasty comment We tried asking him very nicely if theres anyway at all he could let us in he said no. So we walked away and my friend said it was fine for us to go in she will just go home. We felt so bad for her, but i knew of the organisor and wanted to see if he could do anything so i said to her to wait in the car, i will let you know if theres anything he can do. Me and my sister then went back again (bearing in minds we had our ID) and then the same secruity guy said to us “ Oh so you left your little friend” and started to laugh! So at this point i personally was not laughing with him and the comment was uncalled for. I didnt respond to him so all i said was “ Heres my ID” he turnt round and said “i dont like your attitude”! I said “What attitude, i just said heres my ID”. He turnt round and said “yeah you aint getting in”!. I actually couldnt believe it ive never in my time of going to clubs have ever been turnt away from the doors because of my “ Attitude” after he was the one that made a uncalled for comment about my friend. So he then turnt to my sister and told her that she can go in. My sister was confused she was like “ but im by myself, i dont go parties without my sister” He said yeah thats fine i dont care. I told my sister to just go in quickly and look for the organisor of the party that knew me. My sister even said to the secruity “so your actually not going to let my sister in, and let me go by myself in the club” He turnt round and said “ am i sensing attitude also”! My sister just didnt say anything and long story short he let her in by herself and she was the youngest one without me! (Organisor was not there and we left to go home) I have never received such terrible and disgusting treatment. That Secruity guys behaviour was shocking! And i will make sure i will leave a review about this place on every platform! Please please dont go here, i will never step back foot in this club again! I work hard and so does the people i came with to be spoken to like we was nothing! Theres other clubs in croydon. We also paid £11 for this event for this guy with no actual training to be on the door or trained on how to speak to people to just turn us away. Dice you really need to pick your staff wisely thats representing you, he has massively let your club down, its the fact that he used being on the door to make himself look bigger than what he was! He is a let down to Dice and i only wish i had his name so i can let everyone know. Please do not waste your time and go here! I have a very large following so ill be warning others also. I now have the trouble to try and get our tickets refunded!
