To the Muslims that think the breakfast is Halal. I went in and asked is there breakfast is halal and the management said no. They said the oil is not pure and it's in the same oil as pork. The oil is contaminated whether your a vegetarian or want halal breakfast. It's only when we were walking out one of the management said they can make a breakfast separately, but it was too late then. As the other management never offered that and they said clearly not halal breakfast. So make sure you ask them and double check if you have breakfast there. Depending if they offer this service.

Went in for the first time last night after being recommended Tuck Inn by friends. Very welcoming and friendly on arrival and the food was Superb . Great service throughout and reasonable price. Give it a go you won't regret it :-)

I was been here with my family the food and the service was amazing and the staff was been made an absolute good job . The only disappointment i had is how the staff was treated by the manager . In my opinion the manager should change is way and attitude of acting and speaking with staff

Went to restaurant since refurbished. Lovely new look. However I was a bit disappointed with the manager's behaviour. Very bossy to workers and came across very aggressive. Was not impressed in how he interacted with staff. I felt staff pain. Lovely staff. Manager needs to behave like how his suit fits.

This restaurant is really great, went there on Monday for a dinner. Food was great, staff was friendly and environment was nice… my guest they was very impressed with the food quality and environment. I would really recommend this place to my friends… But not everything was so good, I was a bit disappointed with theirs platters. We ordered this family platter (110£), ment for 6people on the menu, but it was only enough for 4 adults 2Boys/2girls, my other guest hat to order more food… Price wise it was reasonable but the the amount of food expected in a family platter does not match the price paid…to be honest I can (eat more food for less money at Izgara restaurant/Northampton)…. The other negative thing is the fact that they only accept Cash…no credit cards just money… I found it so inconvenient, because all ATM around restaurant was charging to withdraw money, I had to walk somewhere else for this… Other than that I can say great place…just don’t expect much from the food quantity…

before I eat from somewhere I always check hygiene ratings they havent had a check since 2020 which should be a giant red flag to avoid a restaurant! if they cared about health and safety of the public they would get a yearly inspection, why haven't you had a inspection since 2020? what are you hiding?

Lots of seating and a nice atmosphere, the rear was very dim so we sat in the front area. Good service and food with lots of menu choices. Realised CASH ONLY and had to find a service till before the food arrived so be warned.

Me and my 7 friends buy tickets for tuck in restaurant on new years, we paid £250 for these tickets all together and it clearly said that the reservation is from 8PM - 3AM on the tickets, we get in at 9PM, and they say they cannot let us in because there is no spaces in the non - smoking area, they finally let us into the smoking area and after about an hour, they take a table from us, making us squeeze together uncomfortably on three tables, the food was good, but the service is horrific. After we eat a worker come up to us and asks us to leave when we clearly had tickets until 3AM, this was very disrespectful of them and I will never go back there and give them my money.

Very tasty and varied cuisine, cozy and warm atmosphere. The presentation of some dishes is very interesting. I recommend the deliciously marinated chicken kebab, as well as the baklava - it’s simply the freshest! The only thing you need to be prepared for is that the restaurant only accepts cash payments.

Was in here with my partner on Thursday evening. I have never been to a less welcoming place in my life and I eat out regularly. Firstly our experience was this. VERY rude staff, very bland and cold food, totally disappointed especially as it’s not the cheapest place on the planet! What happened next is totally unacceptable there was a large party in the restaurant and I got chatting to one of the party as they didn’t seem to impressed with their food. As the guy was politely telling staff of his complaints and rightly so saying he didn’t want to pay for his meal as it was disgusting it totally kicked off!! The restaurant manager or owner getting his heavy mates to physically assault the customer!! They were literally kicking him on the floor!!! I have never seen such total disrespect to customer service!! The staff not only need sacking but locking up! I recommend you Avoid this place at all cost in case you have a problem you might walk out with a black eye!!

This is the kind of low quality, over priced restaurant you might find in an overcrowded rowdy seaside resort. They serve basic English style food with lots of pig products on the menu. Should be avoided by anyone trying to eat halal or looking for an authentic Turkish cuisine experience.

Loved the food! I ordered the chicken wings, and they were delicious! Christmas music in the background made for a relaxing atmosphere. The food did take a little time to arrive, though. All in all, it was a great experience. Remember, it is cash only.

Went for breakfast asked if could swapped beans for egg said would be extra pound. But didn't take any money off cause didn't want beans. Good way aswell dodging paying lot of tax cash only. The food and service was amazing. The only thing was they only accept CASH. So when there are almost 10 people it makes it really awkward. WHO carries cash these days 🤔 👀 out of that may people? The nearest cash point wasn't working so had to find another one. As we don't live in the area it was such a pain.

It was a nice experience. it's something one can try if you are looking for a different experience . The rice was very small and kind of plain to be honest. The meals are also pricey to me .Enjoyed the salad and mixed shish.

We just went for a lunch in your restaurant , 3 of us which 2 had food and 1 left without food as a member of the staff couldn't understand any English when the order was made . So yeah very disappointed never been like this .

This is a fantastic Turkish restaurant. It's a warm, friendly place. They have plenty on the menu that is freshly prepared. The portions are generous and, uncommon for these days, the prices are modest. It's fantastic value for money. Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just coffee. Note: Cash only (there's a cash machine close by).

Took long time to be served our complimentary food, thereafter took over 45 mins to be served our food 2 dishes came and third dish took another 10 mins and we where missing side dish.. the third dish was cold, the overall portion size and presentation was not usual standard… the restaurant wasn’t even that busy at the time… we have been here many times before… we will not be returning

Me and my partner visited the restaurant today. We both ordered soups and mains with some Turkish tea. During eating soups my partner received his main course half way through only to be getting cold on the side as he was still eating his soup. We didn’t say anything he just rushed the soup so his main course is saved still a bit warm. Meanwhile I was patiently waiting for my main dish and considering the fact they should be somehow served in similar time after a while i reminded the hostess that we are still missing one course. She disappeared and after giving it another chance I simply canceled it as my partner already was finishing his course. The hostess rolled her eyes. Very disappointing and unwelcoming. One hostesses welcomed us sad and without smile as soon as we came in. Pointed with her finger where to seat. Anyway, after the incident nobody came to us to offer us anything or at least to apologise. We were the only few customers in the restaurant with 3 hostesses on the floor. We were completely ignored. Important to note also is that after 10 minutes we came in, 2 other customers came in to order food and they were served first while I was waiting for exactly the same dish as they received. Very poor customer service. No questions asked, no offering. No please, thank you. Even when we were handed the bill to our table which we didn’t not ask for yet (despite the bad experience at least we wanted to finish our tea) the hostess came in with not a single word spoken, at least ‘there you go, thank you’ or ‘this is your bill’ or ‘maybe a coffee or desserts?’ - nothing. Felt like they want us out. The saddest and least communicative staff I have seen in a restaurant. Very cold and unwelcoming experience. We didn’t complain and said anything. Just paid and left. We used like to visit the place but now we will never return. Another customer lost.

Really polite and helpful staff. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean and well kept. My friend and myself regularly visit for breakfast. Every time we've eaten, the food is hot and really well presented. They operate cash only payment. Highly recommended and well worth a visit !!!

Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity presented. Will definitely be returning to sample more dishes from the extensive menu.

Service is bit slow. After ordering drinks, we got them about 20 minutes later. Next 1½hr no-one has even bothered to ask if we want anything to eat. We had to stop passing by waitress to get someone to pick up the order from our table. Prices are not the lowest for the size of the dish. Overall could be a bit better.

I feel like I'm on holiday when I come here, especially in the garden. I have only ever been here for breakfast, it's not the best I've ever had but it always hits the spot. Great value and always friendly!

Awful. Went as part of a birthday celebration. Rude staff, condescending attitudes. If you weren't a local or from a similar background then they treat you with contempt. Payment option was interesting too. You must pay cash. They didn't tell us of this. They won't even let you do a bank transfer - has to be cash we were told. And no receipt. Even when we asked for one. I'm assuming because they feel that maybe taking cash is tax free? Awful experience. Awful establishment and if this review stops one person from ruining their night out then this review has been worth you reading it.

I have been to Tuckins few times. Usually use the sitting at the back for Sheesha, drinks and food. I was disappointed this time as we had to wait for 30 minutes for Sheesha to arrive. Had to tell the owner to have it. Food was good as usual.

Was offered a replacement but by then I was put off. No discount ts offered Cash oy at the venue which is I found to be incredibly annoying Verdict.... The food was somewhat eatable... Cleaness was ok and staff were helpful. I would not go back there though. I needed a Halal place in the area so I could eat something and take some tablets so was able to eat but it wasn't anything special. Also, atmosphere is a bit weird due to some groups of people having suspicious look.

Food was lovely. The waitress Victoria went above and beyond. The only thing I don’t like, is that the tip we left at the reception,specifically for Victoria, actually is going to the pot, and then divided(if) between them all. Which I think is unfair.
