Tsuen Wan Chinese Takeaway in Kirklees

First time in years since having a takeaway from here, but because the rating was the highest thought I would give it a go. But wasn't impressed had chicken chow mein, fried rice and curry sauce. A bit stodgy and dry lacked some gravy and curry sauce was salty.

Great meal enjoyed this evening. So glad you're back from your break. We've missed you. 👍

Beef curry with fried rice, absolutely delicious every time!

overall the food is really nice normally when they get the orders that we place right , it’s been two occasions now in the space of 2 weeks they have made a simple order wrong and we have rang up and complained and they said how is this occasion relevant from the last time they got it wrong and said for us to bring the food back down because of there error absolutely disgusting i want it sorted

Food excellent. Lost a star as you do not take card payment and do not tell people till they arrive to collect.

New lad on the telephone taking orders is absolutely discrasful. Put the phone down on me because he got the order wrong . Ordered from there for years . Never had a problem . Wow

I got the king prawn salt and pepper and it was amazing. The food staff were kind and I would recommend you going there for a Chinese place in Huddersfield.

I had mini spring rolls n then Beef n green peppers in Blackburn sauce n fried rice absolutely brilliant meal delivered on time top notch

I have been waiting for an hour and a half with only ordering 4 things, we have called up with them saying it will be 15 mins, it has been 35 mins and we still haven’t received it. I’m not happy! I won’t be ordering here again

We always go to the New Tsuen Wan.The food is gorgeous,polite service and the order is always correct.

I got salt and pepper chicken and they was a red hair inside the chicken as I was eating it the hair was in my mouth I couldn’t eat the rest of my food absolutely disgusting 🤮 very disappointed and I paid over the phone when the delivery driver came she tried charging me again. I don’t know who’s taken over this business I’ve been coming here 15 years 😫 sooooo disappointed as this was one of the best in Huddersfield

We have struggled to find a decent Chinese takeaway, we are very happy with these, no complaints at all and tonight will be our 3rd delivery from them

First time trying this place definitely be using them again beautiful food and arrived spot on time

Collected a stir-fry the other day, asked for no egg as im allergic, i opened it on the counter as they passed it to me to check as egg had been added before, i pulled egg out in front of them, they said dont worry we will make you another one, i said what you gonna do with this one? The Pakistani man working there said it will be ok as it will be warmed up again for anyone else who orders the same dish as the heat will burn off any germs that i have left. Shall i eat there again? I think not.

I’ve tried a lot of Chinese takeaways in the area and NONE of them come close to the standards of Tsuen Wan! The food is alway amazing my favourite is egg fried rice & chicken curry the rice is always nice & fresh not stale and lumpy! and the curry is perfect not watery and tasteless like most places! Definitely my go to Chinese and I’m never disappointed!

Previous left a fantastic review but wow how bad do things have to get be four you give up on something . Pink duck ok pink beef ok pink pork sort of ok pink chicken wow not ok give it a wide berth not good burnt on the out side and very pink in the middle

Excellent Chinese food, I am new to the area and this is the one that came the most highly recommended. I wasn't disappointed as mentioned the food is excellent.

Great food vast menu , recommend Crispy Chicken in Ok sauce . Busy take away so you may have to wait but the food is worth the wait . Pay with bank transfer , cash at the door or pop in and collect .

I have been going here on and off for a few years and always enjoyed the food but my latest visit the quality was excellent. I dont know if there are new owners or new chef but you could taste the quality of the chicken and the ingredients. I had set menu for one person and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm not sure one person could eat all of it!!!! I had it for two nights and warmed up it was still tasty. There was a small mishap with service but nothing major and the staff were polite, apologetic and efficient. will definitely visit again

1st time ordering from this takeaway and it was 10/10! Food was really hot on delivery, really tasty and the girl on the phone is really polite and friendly! Very professional

Ordered our usual and on this occasion it was disgusting. Over cooked bland rice and noodles which we’re replaced with rice and noodles that were just as inedible and mushy as the first lot..disappointing and a waste of money! Will not be ordering from here again 🤬 posted 1 star purely due to it not allowing me to post this review unless I gave a star👎🏼

Not long moved to Milnsbridge and I love Chinese food, I pass Tsuen Wan every day so today i stopped off and ordered sweet and sour chicken & chips. I was greeted by a smily young girl behind the counter who took my order, I ran to the cash machine to grab some cash as I realised I had non on me and they don't take card. By the time I got back and sat down for a couple of moments it was ready. The food tastes amazing and along with the great customer service I first got, I think I've found my new local Chinese 🙂👍

Would give 0 stars if I could, will not be returning. To murder salt and pepper chips like that is beyond me something so simple was inedible. If you like jarred lazy garlic on everything and anything this is the place for you.

the food used to be nice but l will never use again and all my family will not use again the food the past few times lv had is disgusting and even asked to change it and thay refused bad customer service will never use again

Always enjoyed our food in the past. Ordered tonight and was very disappointed, food was not hot, soggy chips, tasteless very bland, asked for egg fried rice, don't know what I got but definitely not what I asked for. Will not not ordering again.

Not bad at all. Food has always been good from here. Often quite busy, expect to wait 45 mins when ordering from just eat. Depending on day food can arrive a little cold during busy times.

Just had a special fried rice from here,it was a disgrace,there was nothing on it that was on the menu,I might as well have ordered fried rice and a curry sauce,definitely won't be going here again.

I ordered a chicken chow mein, not entirely sure what I got but it wasn't what I ordered. It was the blandest meal of 'chicken' and soft noodles. No sauce. No veg. Nothing you'd expect to find in a chow mein. The 'chicken', im not entirely convinced was the most disgusting thing I'd ever eaten/seen. I had no more than 4 mouthfuls of my meal then it was binned. My guests did the same. Will not be returning here
