Took over hour and half to arrive, when it did it was clap cold. Real shame aswell because it would of been nice. chips were hard and in edible sausage butty js looked nasty like some one had snapped sausauge in half and jammed it in to a t cake fish would of been nice of fresh but insted it was soggy. Usualy i get a lot better quailty

It was ok, small fish but tasty. Chips were on the dry side like had been reheated or kept warm for a while, they were proper long chips though and nice flavoured so a shame. Expensive for what they were.

First time ordering will definitely order again, delivery driver friendly also

We was obviously the last food order going out. All food was over cooked, chips all dried out and rock hard. So bad we couldn’t even eat it.

Absolutely terrible avoid at all cost

The fish and chips were poor. The batter on the fish was a dark brown colour and tasted bitter as if the oil needed changing. The chips were extremely chewy.

Stopped here last night for fish and chips. It was like a step back in time. Great food, done in beef dripping. Friendly service and large portions. Well worth a visit.

Great little chippy, proper chips, good portions fish was great, had it on a muffin loads of S&V some of the best fish and chips we've had and all made last minute for us as the were closing. We will be back!

The last 2 times I've ordered from here the food has been overcooked/burnt yet soggy at the same time. Last time I ordered the chips and fish were burnt, today the chips were OK but fish burnt and soggy. Couldn't finish my fish.

Chips could do with being hotter & got far too many. Chips alone filled a large plate. Half of which went straight into the bin. I hate wasting food. It really was a silly amount served. Fish was nice, but the batter looked very dark. Maybe oil/fat was old and needed changing. Staff friendly. Bit expensive tbh. Maybe give smaller portions & bring the price down.

Staff were super friendly and the food was great. Fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. Chips were great. Got a pig in blanket, which was just fantastic. Got the super sized fish, which was massive, still some left over for today. Price was reasonable and service was quick.

Had a chip butty, chips are done in beef dripping, which makes a big difference, what can I say it was perfect

Fish was burnt, can only assume it was cooked on the surface of the sun, was also roughly the size of a goldfish. Chips were well overcooked and discoloured as a result. Overall would not recommend. Many many many better chippies around including those that use a lightbulb to cook them with better results.

Junction fisheries are my local chip shop. The food used to be excellent. The fish is still nice. The staff are always friendly, even when they are super busy. It's also cash only, but you can order your food on their website.

Poor. This chippy is less than 1 mile away. £3.50 delivery and there is no excuse for the food to be freezing when it arrives.

Ordered 20 minutes before the closing time so I thought it would come quite cold but was completely wrong , came piping hot and was just as nice as last time , can’t beleive it’s taken me this long to finally try it as I only live 5-10 minutes down the road , won’t bother going to any other chippy whenever this one’s open

Never order fish and chips because they usually come soggy/cold but we only live down the road from here so it came piping hot and the fish and chips were unreal , the batter was one of or if not the best batter I’ve ever tasted , will be my go to from now on 👏🏻

The food we got was cold... And I have had stomach ache since I ate it.. chips tasted like they were warm ups from yesterday.. will not be ordering anything from here again

Stale chips watery gravy feels like it’s all from yesterday

Just bought our tea from ere fish and chips, fish butty fish, and a child’s chicken nuggets and chips small curry, peas, and gravy at the cost of £26 absolutely disgusting the fish was that overcooked you couldn’t chew it, mine was half the size of my hubbys, even the dogs would t eat it. Normally so good but won’t be going there again I can’t afford to throw nearly £30 worth of food away. Should have stuck to a sandwich.

I was really disappointed, I waited for this chip shop to open as it was our favorite, and what was delivered was horrible dry, burnt, shriveled up chips, which ended up in the bin. Had to get bread to make fish butties.( so it wasn't all bad. The fish was nice) All that money ended up in the bin. It's a shame as it's put me off from ordering here again.

We live less than a mile away, they charge about £3 delivery charge and the chips was cold.

Food wasn’t as good as previous times I’ve used…fish was soggy not crispy batter and chips were burnt and dry, we had loads of tiny crispy bits in.

Food arrived late (even later than the second time they provided by about 20 mins) . Person who delivered was friendly enough but no apology for significant delay. Food was okay but not great and expensive for what it was (£5 for very soggy small scampi). Not worth £17.50 for a single persons dinner. Wouldn't use again.

First time using this takeaway. Delivered on time, friendly driver. The fish and chips were delicious. The medium size looked a little small on arrival but was actually just right. It seems odd focus on them but the mushy peas were REALLY good and I wish I'd got a second pot!

Absolutely delicious - proper fish and chips. Tastiest we've had in a long long time. Portion size was spot on, and the mushy peas were so tasty. Were still nice and hot when they arrived even though we're just over 4 miles away. 100% recommend.

The Junction is the only chippy we use now. The fish is beautiful; wonderful crisp batter, which is never soggy and the fish is always perfectly cooked, white & flakey. The chips are amazing too. Fried so the starch begins to caramelise giving an amazing and distinctive flavour you just don't find anywhere else. The menu choice is nothing short of phenomenal to be frank. They have wonderful Jones' pies if someone doesn't fancy fish and there is a huge selection, even including pork pies (with obligatory mushy peas of course) and steak & kidney puddings in addition to pies. The tornado potatoes are novel, taste gorgeous and the kids love them. Just when you think it can't get any better, you can end your meal with Dixon's ice cream! There are loads of flavours to choose from too. The staff, including the delivery guy, are just lovely; so friendly and accommodating should you need help or advice. The service is second to none and you (thankfully) never have to wait long as you begin to salivate as soon as you read the menu! All in all, The Junction is, in our opinion, the best chippy, if not the best takeaway, we have ever used...EVER!

Although the food was hot, everything was chewy. The portions were quite small too. Delivery lady was lovely though. But that doesn’t make me tea taste any better unfortunately.
