Excellent. We have been looking for a great Chinese takeaway since moving to Oxford, I think we’ve found it!

Awful food , like reheated food cooked 2 days ago . I vote with my feet and Will not return .

A very clean place with friendly, professional staff and great tasting food. I had the sweet and sour chicken balls, Korean spicy chicken and egg fried rice, everything was cooked to perfection and the food was still hot when I got home after 20 minutes. Reasonably priced also, I would definitely recommend this place!

Tsang’s kitchen is an excellent option for students and residents looking for a quick and reasonably priced Asian food. The husband and wife who run the takeout are genuinely lovely people, and their food got me through my degree! Highly recommended.

Loved their takeaways! Mapo tofu was really flavourful and authentic and the owner was so sweet she gave us extra spring rolls for our order. Spring rolls were crispy and well fried. Recommended!

My husband and I recently visited Tsang Kitchen on Iffley Road, Oxford. We requested a single piece of spring roll to sample the taste, but they refused. So, we ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, which turned out to be fried frozen ones served with just a sweet sauce. When we asked for a spicy dip or sauce, they didn’t have any. The rolls were completely tasteless, and if we had been able to sample them beforehand, we would never have ordered them. We shared our feedback, but the owner seemed indifferent. We paid almost £5 for such tasteless and unhealthy food. To make matters worse, we both experienced upset stomachs afterward. It was a horrible experience, and we will not be returning.

Waited over an hour for delivery for chips (£4.80) not to be included to be told after hanging up on me twice. That they will deliver them later 🙄

Sorry Tsangs, what a disapointment, from the last time and all the times we have had tasty and good value food, not this time, the special chow mein was like eating a plain chow mein, hardy any meat or prawns , the chicken fried rice hardly any chicken and the chicken we did have in both what there was was weird looking and felt like slime in the mouth! the boiled rice was all stuck together, we did not eat any of these went in the bin , but i have to say to your defrence, the spring rolls were very nice, more meat in those too than the main meals, so in all the yeats we have had very good and tasy and good value for money food, sadly we will not be using you service again.

Despite the rave reviews on socials, my selections weren't really mind-blowing. Chicken in a satay sauce wasn't at all satay-like although it had a kick of heat. Why are satay stir fry sauces so unlike satay dipping sauces?? The chicken balls were a bit doughy; the chicken foo yung was a bit watery; and the egg friend rice was unexpectedly dark (too much soy?) and rather oily. However, the lemon chicken and BBQ spare ribs are a definite for my next order, and I'll give Tsang's kitchen a go again just on the strength of these two dishes! It's a shame that the thai dishes are only available as a set meal - I would definitely have tried the thai green chicken curry PS I did ask for chopsticks, but none were provided (a bit odd for a chinese takeaway)!?

I’m very disappointed with my order tonight the food wasn’t as good as I’ve come to expect from Tsang’s. Normally Tsang’s food is excellent but tonight’s ribs seemed like they were old and had been reheated. I’m surprised because Tsang’s food is usually very good. Sorry for the bad review but I’m only telling my honest opinion.

As always the food arrives warm and delicious. That’s why i order from Tsang’s. I always recommend them to all my friends.

The food doesn't taste fresh and it was so oily. Some taste off like the young chow rice even the prawn crackers. l was greatly disappointed. Wasted £35. Sorry i will not order again.

Ordered a Chinese and had a lady huff down the phone at me when I asked where the food was after a hour and a half after being told 45 min and then said we are going somewhere else cancel the order to have a bloke take over the phone and say we still have to pay. Avoid at all cost very rude people.

Really disappointing food & last time I will use Tsangs. Very salty curry flavoured chicken satay, chicken wings so over fried they were solid & inedible & the ribs, normally our favourite dish, were so chewy & gristly. One star though as the dumplings were good & delivery was quick. Maybe look elsewhere.

I have visited this takeaway several times and have always been so happy with my experience. The staff are always so kind and friendly and the food is absolutely perfect, the best I've had. I would say this is certainly the best Chinese takeaway in Oxford, by a very long way. Other places simply do not compare. Thank you for always providing such great food and service!

Too expensive… 63£ for two small containers of ransy pork ribs, 2 ok prawns but a lot of peppers and onions and no much prawns, 1 chicken balls ( the best food in the order) it’s a lot of money for little food and the quality of ribs are definitely suspicious…

They did an incredible job accommodating my food allergies. I have a nut allergy and was told by other takeaways that they weren’t “nut safe” and wouldn’t let me order. Tsang’s, on the other hand, were very helpful and accommodating. Someone even called to confirm the order was nut free and would be prepared extra carefully. On top of that the food was delicious and even delivered early! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

I've said it once and I'll say it again: Tsang's is BY FAR the best Chinese food in Oxford. We've tried other places (when forced) and it never has been as delicious and as well-priced as Tsang's. Tsang's has been our numero uno place for two years. Our favorites are the Chili garlic chicken, tofu, and aubergine (amazing), the chicken teriyaki, and the korean chicken, but everything is amazing.

Ordered hot and sour soup and all I could taste was soy sauce. Fried rice was tasteless and chilli garlic prawns were unnecessarily sweet.

Highly recommend the Korean Spicy Chicken and house special fried rice, great taste and good mixture of ingredients!!!

The best Chinese restaurant in Oxford I have had, both food and value. I never have been disappointed.

Decided to use them for the first time and never again. First of all they delivered to the wrong address it took almost 1hr 30 mins to deliver. Secondly the food was so bad I had to send it back. Portion for the mix shared starter was small plus none of the food was cooked properly. Avoid this place. This is not a good Chinese takeaway.

Ordered from tsang’s kitchen last night although they were busy but worth the wait. Fantastic meal!

I’ve been using Tsangs for nearly 40 years, never had a bad experience until now. I ordered mushroom curry which was palatable with vegetarian Singapore noodles, I specifically asked for no seafood yet for some weird reason it was full of shrimp. (Most definitely not vegetarian) also the house special fried rice which was absolutely rank. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, sadly I’ll never order from there again.

Chips fried for too long. They become ghosts (just a see through yellow shell). Garlic chicken pieces: chicken was good, but not much of the seasoning. That's my favourite Chinese takeaway dish, but here it was just ok. Shredded beef, greasy, not much of a beef. Just crunchy shell.

Everything was warm and extremely tasty. I can’t fault Tsang in anyway. Please keep up the great standards that you keep setting.

Average at best. Special chow mein had two prawns in the whole dish and chicken was cut really small and few and far between. mixed starter very greasy and pretty bland. Chicken balls batter more like fish and chips style batter than chinese. Try somewhere else

Delicious ribs best Chinese in Oxford

Cons: Food was late - ordered at 20:12, food arrived at 21:38. Too much plastic packaging - would much prefer foil trays. Pros: All staff were friendly and polite, with good communication. Delivery driver found my difficult-to-locate house without any help. Food was hot and tasty. The Fortune Cookies were a nice touch. Would I use them again? - Yes.

Food arrived early which was great! Free bag of prawn crackers too. Ordered egg fried rice, crispy chilli beef and crispy seaweed. Great size portions, chilli beef was a bit bland but with some curry sauce added to it was tasty enough to order again! Thanks guys!

Worst Singapore chow mein I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot. Was like eating plain noodles. Ribs were ok though.

Food delivered an hour later than originally stated. All items were uber greasy. "Crispy" prawns were soggy. Chicken was hard. Noodles were tasteless. Won't be ordering again.

Food was okay. The delivery time is about an hour after order; 35-40 minutes before order is submitted.

Mixed starter was good, BBQ pork chow mein was just ok; cooked well but the flavour of the sauce was completely overpowering.

The soup was bland and smelly. Rice was okay-ish but certainly not quite like Chinese Thai cuisine. Spicy duck wasn’t spicy. It was dipped in gravy that was a bit smelly too. The chef should taste the food before serving. I think I didn’t choose the right dishes for me. So I recommend that one should buy food from them if on,y they know about the taste of the specific dishes.

Everything is great apart from the complete over use of salt. The rice is inedible it’s so soaked in calcium.

I was disappointment with my order. The vegetable spring roll was not fresh. It tasted like it was frozen and reheat. The beef brisket was not right as well and the portions are small. The sweet and sour pork was the worst one I had from them. I have been ordering for sometime now and I notice the decline in the quality of the food. Sorry but I will not order again from you.

The crispy duck was great the crispy chicken in lemon sauce sadly was soggy but ok
